Hello,
This is our second time staying at this wonderful property. We really enjoy the location as it is close to all of our favorite activities. The house was extremely clean and in great condition. Especially loved the hot tub! So nice to soak after a long day on the trails. The layout of the home is great. Plenty of room for everyone to have privacy when they wanted it. Can't say enough good things about the property and the host. This house is one of our favorites and I'm sure we will be back.

perfect ho.e base 7 day ski trip. One hour from our new Favorite Ski mountain saddleback.Hike to back country glades and chutes best east of the Rocky mountains. Having an icon pass we came for Sugarloaf's Bracket Basin we have come three times and the back country has never been open Disappointing snow cover Has always kept us out.We decided to try saddleback and were so stoked to find the back country in great shape we paid for lift tickets two of our three days in carrabasset ,after Sunday river, where we always find what were after.Having a hot tub is a must after a100,000 vertical week .you can't go wrong with Courtney and heather's home fantastic base for your next adventure .We will be back and someday Sugarloaf will let us into her hidden places we still find the in bounds trees exciting . So put your Pajamas On inside out and think snow

I rented this house to stay for my sons wedding and it did not disappoint. There was only 2 of us, myself and the best man, but I did a lot a food preparation and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of space to work.
The beds were comfortable and bathrooms very spacious.
I felt safe in the neighborhood and it was easy to find.
Would recommend the rental of this property and the host Courtney was available and helpful.
Thank you!

Completely enjoyed our stay. Bottle of wine and things for s’mores were waiting for us. Location was beautiful. Nice and quiet. Loved the book with all the info. We were able to see a moose!! Hot tub was great! Everything we needed was there. Very clean. We went to Frotters market in Stratton - wonderful fresh bread and burgers for the grill. Played the pac man game too. Was a great place to stay!

We had the best time at the Getaway. The house is amazing and extremely clean. The kitchen was so well stocked we were blown away. The hot tub was pristine and we loved the fire pit. They have bikes available for use in the garage as well. The area is stunning! The river along 16 is breathtaking and there is endless hiking trails with waterfalls. The local restuarant Tufulios which is right down the street did not disappoint and even closer is a beautiful little bowling alley with a full bar and menu. We stopped in again on our last night and they even had a live band playing. We ziplined at Sugarloaf which is maybe a 15 minute drive away if that. My kids had the best time and said it was our best vacation yet and we went to Disney last year! You will not regret staying at the Getaway and Courtney was a phenomenal host and always right there to anwer any questions and give recommendations for the area. My family cannot wait to go back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was inviting and comfortable. It was incredibly clean and we had plenty of room for our family. Highly recommend!

The most amazing thing about our stay at the Getaway wasn't the beautiful setting (which was incredible)...or the cleanliness of the house (which was impeccable)..or the various things to do (which were numerous)...or the furnishings provided (everything we could possibly need)...it was the graciousness of the hosts, (Courtney and Heather).
They were proactive with communication and always prompt in responding to questions or inquiries. Even providing information on local swimming holes. They shared the use of their fat tire bicycles and numerous lawn games...all in great condition.
There are so many things to do without even leaving the house including pac man, streaming TV services in almost every room, the very clean and enjoyable hot tub, and the aforementioned lawn games.
It was the perfect vacation for our family in a wonderful setting and Courtney and Heather played a big role in our enjoyment of it all!

We had a fantastic time at the Getaway—kids, adults, and dog alike! The house is incredibly clean and welcoming, and made us feel at home and that we were somewhere special. Afternoon hot tub post skiing is amazing, it’s incredibly private feel in the woods and watching the sunset through the trees over the mountains. Thank you!!!

I have stayed at a lot of properties on VRBO. All I can say is that these owners are incredible! They not only shared their beautiful home but also are very accommodating and down to earth. We ran into a little snafu early on and I am very appreciative of how understanding they were! Their home is amazing and in an amazing place, you will not be bored and if you are it is because you want to be! Thank you, and we truly look forward to staying here again. The hot tub is amazing and the walk down to the pond really helped us relax. The Pac-man game is great and it was fun to play with our kids, in the evening along with all of the other games at the house, and biking along the rail trail and all of the MTB paths was an adventure. Thank you for an excellent family adventure, it is just what we needed!

Wow! This house is even better in person! It was perfect in every way, starting with Courtney and Heather being the most attentive and thoughtful hosts ever. When we first arrived, there was a s’mores kit for our three children and a bottle of wine for my husband and I. We instantly felt welcomed. The interior of the house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need, including a large table for everyone to eat together. The family spaces were cozy and fun. Ms. PAC Man was a big hit with all of us. They thought of everything from tissues in every room, towels for the hot tub, and fat tire bikes in the garage for guest to try out. We spent our days mountain biking on nearby trails. The outdoor center offered trails for all levels, it was amazing. We rode our bikes down to Reddington Pond, right from the house., you could also hike there. My 13 year old son claimed it was one of the most beautiful views he had ever seen. We certainly couldn’t disagree. There’s also hiking trails with waterfalls, swimming holes and zip lining at Sugarloaf Mountain. We needed more days, there was just so much to enjoy! The hot tub and the fire pit were the perfect way to end our adventure-filled days. This is a vacation our family is sure to remember always! We can’t wait to come back for a winter ski trip and a summer visit again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful “Getaway” with us!

We arrived to bright clean cabin in a snowy evening. The road leading to he cabin was well maintained and we had had no issues despite the weather. The cabin is clean and more spacious than than it appears in photos. Our hosts checked in to be sure we arrived safely (given the weather) and asked if we had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. House info/rules were simple and clearly laid out. The hot tub was an added bonus at the end of our ski day. I wouldn’t change a thing about our visit. Thank you again for sharing your home.

We were so very happy with our pick of this property! It is beautiful and clean, well maintained. We didn’t need to bring much for hosts supplied everything minus our food of course. (That was nice because we drove 10 hours.) The less to pack for the week, the better. The hot tub our family used every day, that was awesome after skiing & snowmobiling. Sugarloaf is maybe 10 minutes away and we loved it too.
Thank you Courtney & Heather for sharing your beautiful place. My family rated this trip 10 stars :)

Very clean and well equiped. The hot tub on the back deck was the cherry on top. The location couldn't be beat with sugarloaf ski/bike trails were just at the end of the street. We can't wait to come back!

A true GetAway!
We enjoyed the peace and quiet while we stayed here. The pictures portray the property accurately - it's just as nice in person. The firepit was an extra treat - we enjoyed making s'mores after a day of exploring the Bigelow Preserve. Great for skiers as Sugarloaf is nearby.
