About this villa rental

Lovely Villa with private pool located in the prestigious resort of Cala Galdana. Villa Albe stands in a very quiet and completely natural environment just 5 minutes walk from the spectacular and renowned beach which gives name to this resort.

Tourism Tax not included on the price. We will proceed to collect the tourism tax of the Balearic Islands once the guests arrive.

Villa Albe is a Mediterranean style villa, which has a total of four bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a private pool, a large and beautiful terrace, a barbacue, a chillout zone and a wide outdoor area, which is ideal for the little ones of the family.
The Villa stands out for its brightness and for its location placed in a quiet environment with a great natural value. Villa Albe is just only a 5 minutes walk from Cala Galdana's beach and 15 minutes walk from Cala Mitjana.

The rooms are distributed in two bedrooms with double bed, one bedroom with two single beds and the other one with one single bed. All of them have a wardrobe and a ceiling fan.

The kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy all culinary needs. It has a vitroceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle and a wide range of kitchenware.

The livingroom has two comfortable sofas and a satellite flat-screen TV.

The Villa has two bathrooms, one has a bath and the other one has a shower tray. Both bathrooms are totally equipped and also both provided with a hair dryer.

At the front of the Villa is located a large Menorcan style terrace and a landscaped area, it has a large marble table for up to eight guests and another table with comfortable chairs where you can relax watching the children playing in this wide terrace.

At the rear side it has the pool, a great barbecue and a lovely chill-out corner, which is ideal to enjoy a drink in those summer warm nights under the starlight . The area also offers totally privacy, it has sunbeds, a table with chairs and an outdoor shower.

Villa Albe also has a washing machine, air conditioning in the living-room, Wi-Fi, radio and CD player, DVD, iron and ironing board and a clothing line area.

The resort of Cala Galdana is one of the most popular and prestigious in Menorca. This is due to its beautiful beach that is surrounded by cliffs that border and protect it from the wind, its fine white sand, crystal clear waters and its shell shape make it a true paradise.
Cala Galdana is a beach that has all the necessary services such as baywatch, sunbeds, boat rentals, restaurants and more.
The beach is ideal for young children who are learning to swim, as the sea does not cover in the first 50 meters.

The complex is very safe and quiet family atmosphere. In its shopping area has many shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, water sports and leisure as boat rental, car, kayaking, horseback riding, cycling etc.
Cala Galdana is surrounded by a natural environment, ideal for walking, for example through the Barranc d'Algendar or walk through the Cami de Cavalls to Cala Mitjana (15min walk), to Trebaluger (45 min) that is a lovely and unspoiled beach or the well knowed Cala Macarella (35min walk).

The staff, the villa, the service.. everything is always fantastic. This was our 3rd stay at Villa Albe and whilst there we booked again for 2024.. that says it all!🥰 This year the windows and doors had all been replaced, making the Villa feel even bigger and brighter. A new fridge freezer was also added. The beach is a few minutes walk away, the supermarket just around the corner .. it’s the best! The only possible thing we could think of would be to add the AC to the remaining double bedroom other than that nothing at all!

We had a lovely family holiday. Perfect location for the beach and having the pool was a bonus. The accommodation was well set out with different seating zones to catch or avoid the sun! The Villa was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the office was extremely helpful. We would return and would recommend Sonnevillas to friends. Need air con in the twin and single room.

The outside of the villa was excellent for eating, swimming and relaxing. Unfortunately the inside was slightly tired and needs updating and I would say good for a couple or small family. The location was really good for quietness or easy walk for bars, restaurants etc.

The whole experience with SonVillas is always a positive and pleasant one. This year was no different. From booking, checking in and out everything is easy and relaxed. Messages and queries are always answered promptly and your leave with the peace of mind that your holiday stay is well managed. The Villa itself is beautiful , both inside and out. Located just a few minutes walk from the stunning beach, the local bus route, supermarket and bars/restaurants.. it really is ideal. Love the separate en-suite room for friends we travel with which means we all have our own bathroom space. The back and front seating areas, and the bbq area is great for a relaxed evening meal around the pool. There’s only really two things we can suggest in terms of improvement. AC in at least the 3rd double bedroom. We’ve just arrived home from our 2 week stay and while there we experienced the tail end of the Menorcan heatwave! The ceiling fans just didn’t provide enough relief sadly. Two teenage boys resorted to sleeping in the living room area as this was air conditioned but obliviously not ideal for a two week holiday. The second is just to be able to check out slightly later, even 11am would make a huge difference. This is of course more of a personal request because our flights on a Saturday are evening ones so would provide a slightly easier day in terms of luggage storage etc. This year we would have really struggled had our local bar that opens at 11am not been able to provide storage for our cases, although we had the option of leaving our cases at the sonnevilla office unfortunately when we arrived with it at just after 10am the office was closed. (Very possibly a timing issue but still left us with 5 pieces of luggage and carryon bags to store until our 6.30pm airport transfer)

Everything from the communication prior to deciding to book, the level of professionalism from the entire team was second to none! The Villa itself is just beautiful, spotlessly clean, bright, comfortable, everything you need is there! It is located in the perfect location.. steps access to the beach which takes a few minutes or a 10 minute downhill walk down onto the beach. The living room and 2 bedrooms have air conditioning which offered such a pleasant relief after beach days! With the choice of sitting around the beautiful pool or relaxing in the front porch there really is something for everyone. My son especially loved the little white bespoke sofa seating area at the corner of the pool. We made sure we re booked for 2022 with Joan prior to leaving this year because we loved it so much! We’d be hard pushed to come up with anything you could improve on, but after some though my son did ask if he could maybe have an ac unit in the 3rd double bedroom one day!🤞

La casa está muy bien situada con acceso a la playa en unos minutos. La piscina es fantástica con flotadores, barcas hinchables etc de los que disponer. Amplio menaje de cocina y de buena calidad. Muchas cazuelas y sartenes y todo muy nuevo. He echado de menos algunos utensilios básicos de cocina y algún producto para limpiar el baño. Sólo había jabón para hacer una lavadora.

Alles war perfekt! Der riesige Outdoor Bereich mit Grillplatz und Pool lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden ein. Die Schlafzimmer waren gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Wohnzimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet und man hat ausreichend Platz um hier mit mehreren Leuten zusammen zu sitzen. Die Terrasse vor der Villa eignet sich super um draußen zu frühstücken oder einfach zu entspannen. Auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, man findet hier alles was man zum kochen benötigt. Lediglich drei kleine Sachen sind anzumerken: es gibt keine Garderobe, das zweite Badezimmer ist deutlich zu klein und die Türen schleifen ziemlich über den Boden. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Villa Albe!

Beautiful area and property. Great location, great hosting from Irene g. The pool is so beautiful. Please be aware though, if you have young children the shallow end is still fairly deep, my 5 yr old could just about stand. It is so beautiful though! Quiet neighbourhood. Will def come back!

We love this villa we have stayed here twice and would come back again it is clean comfortable and has everything you need Irene and jaun are brilliant the can not do enough for you . If anything goes wrong they are out to fix it . We have booked with sonne villas for the last 4 years and I would not use anyone else
