The location is close to everything; restaurants, beaches, buses, etc. The accommodations are clean and comfortable.

Nothing like the photos. It’s a twin air mattress not a futon which is wedged between the bed and bathroom, so you need to make a wide step over. Also, not mentioned in the booking, $5/day for AC WHAT?! booking.com DID NOT CARE!!!! We ended up paying 50% and moving on. WTF DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM

Location was perfect! Hassien the Manager/Owner was so very helpful and obliging.
Noisy. Sewer smells. Mattress needs replacement.

Great location, only one block walk from the beach; a little store for groceries is across the street; and a coffee shop and bakery is next-door. The kitchenette was well equipped, and it is easy to make meals there. I usually made breakfast and lunch there and then went out for dinner. It is an easy walk to all the restaurants and bars in the centre of town.
Hussein, the host, is very friendly, helpful, and responded to my questions and needs promptly. He provided a beach umbrella for me,
Which is important as there’s no natural shade on the beach.
A large condo building is being constructed next-door, and Bucerias, in general, is undergoing development with other condo buildings being built. It is difficult to find a spot without a lot of noise. Construction is from 7:30 AM until 6 PM on the week days.

We were very happy with our stay at Casa Magua, the air conditioning in the August humidity and heat was a life-saver, the bed comfortable and the whole place clean, quiet and tidy. There's a fridge in the room and bottled water available in the kitchen. The communication with the host was excellent and he kindly allowed us to keep our stuff downstairs after check-out until it was time for us to catch our bus. It's a perfect budget place for couples or solo travellers - there's a kitchen if you want to save money on restaurants, and it's a minute's walk from the beach and ten minute walk to the centre of the village which is very pretty, especially at night, and is full of great street food places.
There was nothing I disliked really - the bathroom is shared between two rooms and has two enterances, meaning you have to remember to lock and unlock the other door when enter and leave, but this is a very minor inconvenience as long as you have a memory which allows you to complete simple tasks (I only forgot to unlock the other door once). The room's window is stained glass, which means it's dingy in there during the day if you have it closed, but it also keeps the sunlight out and therefore keeps it cool.

Hussein was very friendly and helpful. There were unexpected construction noises coming from our right next wall. Hussein took care of our issues immediately without any hesitation even thought it was not his fault at all. He is the best host I have ever met. Thank you Hussein for your genuine thoughtfulness toward your customers.

Great location for everything. 208 steps to the beach. 8 minute walk to Centro. Mini supermarket right across the street. 5 minute walk to out of town buses.
Hussein and his mother were great. Hussein picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. Handy having the use of a kitchen. Air conditioning worked well.
For a budget stay, I highly recommend it.
Good chance I'll be back next year.
Thanks Hussein

It was located close to the beach and shopping. Perfect location and host.

Close to the beach, very friendly owners, Spanish and English speaking.
The buses were frequent and it was easy to go into town or explore further north.
There was nothing really, not to like, about the property. It might have been a bit noisy, but Mexico is noisy !
For the money, it was good value and a good place to discover new things from.

Location was perfect. Very close to the beach and great restaurants. Kind hosts. Clean space. Nice extra touches like fresh water in the room and soap and towels laid out. Excellent value for money.
All good.

Very nice place, comfortable with a large front patio with lots of plants. In a fantastic location. Very charming street with a bakery and coffee shop next door. There is a good out door kitchen to use. The Beach is at the end of the street. It is slightly away from busy town centre thankfully and is only an interesting 5 minute walk to get there. It is in a classier area with shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed this place as well as all the other people I met staying there.
The Owners should change the polyester shower curtain to plastic in the shared bathroom or wash it every other week because it is so humid mold spores build up in the folds and when you open the shower curtain mold dust falls off. This is normal in this country but if you suffer from asthma it is difficult.

quiet location. close to beach and markets. Excellent staff (owner) super friendly, helpful and accommodating.
could improve by having at least one room with 2 beds. Hussein was very accommodating and up front before we arrived. He brought an air mattress in for us. 2 nights; meant each of us had one night in the air mattress

the bed was very hard and I wasn’t use to a hard bed

Location was great, the restaurants all near, small cantina accross the street serves a awesome quesadilla. Near market stall and beach
There could be a little more attention paid to cleanliness, shower curtain should be washed and the bathroom small carpet was pretty dirty but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped

Location was central in Bucerias. Close to beach, restaurants, bar, shopping, art walk. Access to a outside kitchen was great. Ac was quiet and worked well (extra cost but worth it).
King Bed was a bit uncomfortable….I slept from side to side, it was fine then.😄 being lock out of the shared bathroom by my neighbor who forgot to unlock my door🤣

The location was exceptional right next to a bakery owned by Canadian from Toronto. Right in the heart of Bucerias. And it was the first time I had to park between 4 horses and a tree. That was a first for me.
I liked it.

Loved the location and hosts. One block from the beach three blocks from the main square and market. Fantastic bakery next door. Inexpensive to stay here.
A note. If you can request room 4 you will have a separate little suite with a balcony overlooking the street and perhaps a water view 😉
The wall between the next room was not soundproof and the person next to us coughed and watched TV at weird times at night.
