About this house rental
This modern mountain home is located at the base of Utah's three most famous canyons. Enjoy the spacious floor plan and the cozy atmosphere. Newly remodeled bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. 2 car garage to store your skis or bikes, deck with barbecue, complimentary hot drinks. This property is three houses away from a nature park (close to a playground park) and an equestrain park. Views of horses from the back windows and balcony. One block to the grocery store, gas, and restaurants. The home has central air conditioning and heating.
This 1500 square foot main level is very spacious. It has been fully remodeled. New paint, carpet, windows, bathrooms, and kitchen. It has a 2 car garage and additional off street parking.
There is a balcony/deck that over looks a large yard, and an equestrian center that is located behind the home. Horses are typically in view.
The living room has plenty of seating room with 2 couches and chairs for viewing the 55 inch smart TV that is mounted above a natural wood burning fireplace. Basic Cable TV, Blu-ray player, and WiFi for utilizing your Netflix and Amazon prime accounts. The living room also has a square table that seats 8. Great for game playing.
The kitchen is updated with new oak cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. It is stocked with dishes, flatware, cookware, and everything you will need to prepare you own meals. It has a Keurig and all the coffee you can drink. There is a table that seats 6 and an island that seats 4.
The bathrooms have been fully updated. The full bath has a shower/bath and is accessible from the main hall near the bedrooms. The half bath is accessible from bedroom #1.
Bedroom #1 is remodled and has two queen beds, a night stand, and plenty of closet space, the half bath is accessible through this room
Bedroom #2 I remodled and has a queen bed, nightstand, leather recliner, and a large closet.
The property has all new furnishings. New mattresses, couches, bedding, and bath linens.
There is a washer and dryer and detergent provided.
The 2 car attached garage provides security for your vehicles and belongings and you will not have to scrape the snow off of your car in the mornings. The property has an ADT alarm system for additional security.
Guests have access to the large backyard and to the garage.
We are locals and love sharing our favorite restaurants, resorts, hikes, and activities. There is a binder at the property with lists of information about the area. We love helping our guests get the most of their time in Salt Lake City. We are happy to answer questions or offer suggestions.

The property is located in Holladay, 15 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Holladay sits in the shadows of the majestic Mount Olympus. Holladay is centrally located so you are within 20 minutes of most of the local attractions.
A few things you should know.
The property is located on a busier street but in a nice eastside neighborhood.
The unit is the top floor of a duplex. The units are completely separate and the basement tenants are quiet.
The washer and dryer hook ups are in the garage. They work fine. We just wanted you know that there is not a separate laundry room.
The equestrian center behind the house is nice, it makes they house very private and it's fun to see the horses, however, sometimes you can smell the horses outside. We never smell them inside but occasionally outside.

We stayed just one quick night. Beds were comfy and house came fully stocked with everything we needed.

We checked in after a whole day of driving and hiking in Utah National Parks. We entered a pleasant and very clean apartment ( a second floor unit of a family home) that was comfortably chilled with central air system. There was plenty of space for lounging including large porch with very relaxing views to the mountains and green meadow. Beds were super comfortable and we got plenty of rest. Very glad we found this place.

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. It was very nice to have a full kitchen with everything we needed and more. I wish the road wasn't so busy because it was very noisy at night and in the morning, but we all slept very well. There was lots of space for dining, cooking, sleeping, and hanging out, and it was clean.

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating because the owners are so great. Unfortunately the traffic noise was too disturbing for me. Otherwise there are lots of thoughtful touches and amenities and the hosts deserve 5 stars. If traffic noise does not bother you, I recommend you stay here.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. The kitchen was spacious and had more than enough seating. There were only 3 of us. The beds were comfortable.
Everything was very clean and tidy.

Nice house in a convenient east side location. Beds were comfortable, shower was great and the kitchen is like home. Only concern was traffic noise from the street - could be a bit intrusive at times, but no fault of the house itself.

This modest house is very nice, clean, updated with a well equipped kitchen. It’s 30-40 minutes to the major areas east of SLC. The owner was very responsive to questions. No reservations about recommending this 2BR, 1.5 bath house to others. And the price was reasonable-Even with the fees.

My kids liked the horses and the park. We even saw a fox while walking the park.

Close to several ski resorts. Was equipped with what was expected.
Lots of small “fix it’s” should be done… ie… loose wires hanging off garage.. also off tv… reset lights pushed back after changing bulb in living room, other lamps in living room would be nice so don’t have to have overhead lights always on, shades or curtains off back porch for privacy and warmth. Kick plate missing off of dishwasher… again, small issues but noticeable.

This is a spacious, well-appointed apartment. It has a large yard and is next to a stables, so is extremely quiet. There's a large park nearby as well. We were very happy with the cleanliness and comfort!

Margaret and Dave's place in Mill Creek, UT was the perfect location to explore any of the 8 legendary ski resorts in the Salt Lake City area. The house was around 30 - 35 minutes from Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, Brighton, Park City and Deer Valley. As a bonus, the location is within an hour or so of Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. We skied 6 of the mountains in the 12 days of our stay. All six of the mountains we skied are on the Ikon Pass.
The house may not look like much from the street, but the interior has obviously been completely renovated. It was nice to have a garage to park our rental car. The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything we needed to cook in nearly every morning and evening. The "Smiths" grocery store was one mile away on the same street as the unit. The beds in the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable. I slept like a baby every night.
Margaret and Dave were very helpful and responded to our inquiries promptly. I will definitely consider staying in their place in the future.

This is a beautiful home. Kitchen well stocked.
TV nice and easy to use.
The walls/floors/ceilings are thin (just older home fact) so I could definitely hear the people in the downstairs unit.
Including one person snoring.
So, for me, it was a little hard to sleep.
There was also fragrance/air freshener used which I just happen to be sensitive to.
These are minor issues, and have more to do with me being a sensitive person!
Loved the bbq grill, the garage, the kitchen, and the bed and linens!

The inside is wonderful. Updated. Amazing kitchen..comfy beds. Cannot complain about the backyard and the space. The house is on a busy street, if that is a concern but plenty of parking and room inside and in back. Will be coming back!

We stayed at Margaret's house for a last-minute ski trip and found everything was exactly as expected. We were slightly concerned about our late check-in time but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, as was everything with the house. I never really needed to contact Margaret but she was always responsive when I did. Her home was perfect for what we needed and I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the amazing ski resorts in the Cottonwoods

My husband and toddler all enjoyed our weekend stay here in November. The house was clean and inviting, the beds were very comfortable, and it was so easy to check in to. The homeowner was quick to respond when I had questions and made sure I had all the information I needed before arriving. Traveling with a toddler can be tough but there wasn't much that he could get in to at the home, there was lots of space for him to play, and there was plastic kids cups and plates which was very nice to have. It was very cold weather when we went but the house stayed nice and warm and having a garage to park and load in and out of was so nice. The only thing to note is that it is on a busy road, but getting in and out is easy enough and while you can hear cars in the front rooms they were not loud in the back bedroom and it did not bother us at night when we were sleeping. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.

We moved our daughter to Salt Lake City and booked this rental to stay while we were there. It was very close to our daughter, very spacious, clean and easy to find. We would stay there again and will see if it's available next time we venture to Millcreek area!

The inside was very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds, and a nice living room to watch our favorite shows. Nice view over a large backyard off of the deck. Close to a super market and a good Mexican restaurant down the road. Easy instructions to enter the property and it was nice to be able to park our car in the garage.

This property was clean, the check in and out process was a very easy & appreciated. Plenty of linens & stocked kitchen. Only downside - due to older home construction makes it so you hear outside road traffics and others in the home easily. Otherwise, very enjoyable stay.
