With a spacious master suite that includes a private balcony looking out onto rows of Ponderosa pines, Casa Del Rey can cater to your romantic whims. At the same time, the 3-bedroom home is also perfect for a family vacation, thanks to amenities such as a foosball table, a huge deck, cable TV, and free WiFi. Even your pets can come along for the fun.
Boasting a beamed cathedral ceiling and a stone-surround fireplace, Casa Del Rey’s great room invites you to kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. The plush sectional sofa is ideal for stretching out and watching TV; the leather armchair is equally well suited for nestling with a good book. And when you’re not eating at the rustic dining table, you can set up your Scrabble board or a jigsaw puzzle there.
While the dining area is a delightful space for family meals in winter, during the warmer months you’ll probably want to dine alfresco. French doors connect Casa Del Rey’s great room to the wraparound deck, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding pine trees and seemingly endless skies. As well as a dining table and plenty of seating, the deck includes a grill so that you can cook as well as eat outside among the crisp mountain breezes. Elsewhere on the deck is a roomy hot tub. Especially after a day of skiing, hiking, or fishing, a long soak among its massaging jets of steamy water will rejuvenate your muscles and reinvigorate your spirit.
Casa Del Rey’s kitchen is equipped with a full array of cookware, tableware, and appliances, from a full-size refrigerator/freezer to the indispensable coffeemaker. For maximum convenience, the house has a full-size washer and dryer too.
Located in the loft is the game room. The foosball table will delight the kids—and at least some of the adults too. There’s a dartboard as well, plus a felt-top table where you can gather for an all-night poker tournament. The game room even has a mini fridge, so you don’t have to keep running downstairs for frosty

House was perfect for our family of 5. Close to essentials (groceries etc) but felt like we were really deep in the mountains. Kids loved playing on the huge deck and the gates made it easy to not worry about them wandering too far. Hot tub was a great way to spend the afternoons in the mountains. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of Elk and Deer. Property was amazing and ready for our arrival. Just a short drive to the racetrack and yet far enough away from the crowds. Definitely recommend

I didn’t get a response about check out time in a timely manner. We had 3 kids, it would have been nice for them to have some more time to sleep in. I got the response today at 9:00 AM

We had a great time at this place. Clean, organized and had the daily essentials. Very close to everything. Quite neighborhood and felt like we were on a mountain all by ourselves. The hot tub was awesome, and the heater in the home worked very well. Over all a great experience.

Many positives about this place. Lots of deer, elk, and birds. Location was perfect. Felt private but in the midst of everything. Couch was comfy and there was plenty of room. There are some frustrating issues that management could easily resolve before the next guests to improve the stay. Wifi was on a timer 9AM-7PM, downstairs toilet needed water added to the tank in order to flush properly. We used a cup. The hot tub was fun but the water was green and cloudy. The washer didn't turn on. We needed it for clean towels. There was no trace of Christmas! A wreath, garland, lights- would add so much!

Super nice cabin with plenty of room and nice decks (one is located upstairs in the master bedroom). Only cons is unable to get ahold of the owner (no answers to my questions on vrbo) and no dishwasher. Just a heads up, in the instructions it said the fireplace was gas, but there was wood available to use? Lastly the keypad to get in was a little fidgety, never really had this trouble before. Overall really enjoyed the stay and sad to leave!

We host several properties ourselves and we are pretty picky when we travel ... The house was well maintained and very clean!!! We wanted something away from town yet close enough to everything ... this was perfect! We brought our e-bikes and we are avid pickleball players so wanted to be close to the park. We really enjoyed our stay in Ruidoso and specifically in this home ... we would love to stay here again on our next trip!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Kirkman house. We have many memories of Ruidoso and this vacation was a great one. Really enjoyed the decks and proximity to Albertson’s. Very spacious and met our criteria… Thank you.

We decided to rent a home like cabin for the holidays. We weren’t able to celebrate Christmas on the exact date so we planned a quick early getaway. This home had everything we needed for our family of 8. Even though we chose it mainly bc of pet friendly and we decided last minute to leave our fur babies behind we would plan to return. Plenty of room to spread out. Everyone had a great time and the hot tub was an extra bonus after a long ski day. We can’t wait to return hopefully next year!! We love Ruidoso!!

Like others have mentioned, it is smaller than you expect. Put there was plenty of room for our family of 6. All TVs are set up with Netflix including the kids room, which they really enjoyed. The area is very quiet. Our last morning we enjoyed watching a buck and 3 doe meander through the front of the property. Our littlest loved the humming bird feeder. Near anything you need. Went fishing at grindstone and caught 20 fish. Upstairs gets warm during the summer days but running the ceiling fans solved that.

Wonderful property and amenities. I had a wonderful time and stay. Quiet location and excellent location central to everything. The only gripe I had was having to track down a propane dealer as every exchange place was out except Club Gas (they were awesome) so I could use the grill. But overall would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone who asks
