The most helpful and lovely family. Stunning homestay with lush outdoor environment and plenty of little sitting spots, as well as a lovely little cafe on site. Easy walk to other good restos and street food. Beautiful, enormous breakfasts (at extra charge but very worth it!). They couldn't have done more for us. They helped us arrange every part of our stay and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Our daughter made a great friend with their grandchild and we ended up extending our stay for 2 more nights as we felt so at home. Thank you family!
We liked everything, and appreciated all of the help and time with the family, but if you do prefer your independence please note that this is a real family homestay and you will be welcomed and treated like such. It's a great experience!

Hilwan and his entire family were very nice and helped us discover the tea plantation and many other stuff in Bandung in the short period of time that we had.
The house was a nice authentic wooden one with it's special design and decoration, the breakfast was so delicious and complete.
Our room was located in the front part of the house, facing a main street which was somehow noisy during the whole night.
Also, the bathroom could be a bit cleaner

the hospitality of Bandung, West Java vibes
because the location is nearby the main road, do maybe at night will be noisy. If you are a light sleeper and need quieter place, maybe this will not be your best option.

Bandung traffics in Jalan Setiabudi heading to location.

Hilwan and his family are fantastic hosts. Hilwan was very friendly and his english was very good. He gave good advice on what to do during our stay considering we only had one full day to discover Bandung surroundings and even took us on a trip himself when there was no driver available on the short notice we gave. We would recommend staying with Hilwan and his family.

The wooden homestay concept is unique, it offers a wonderful experience for guests who seek an alternative option while staying in Bandung. The location is good, it only takes 10-20 minutes (minus traffic jams) to Lembang. Moreover, the owner served tasty breakfast and it`s free flow.
Need more space for parking.
Sometimes, the wifi could not reach the bedroom area.

The balcony at this place is very magical. Also the owner greats you with coffee or tea every night which makes you feel tremendous at home.
Trafic and praying (Azan) is quite loud, however this is probably in all of Bandung.
