We had a great stay. The only problem that we had was the sink upstairs did not work properly. Only one faucet worked and even then we couldn't hardly use it. Except for that, everything was just as listed and the house was perfect for eight of us in our group

The property was wonderful! It was easy to find, super close to Schlitterbahn that we were visiting and accommodated our family well. The first night we were there, we had some trouble with the internet. Within hours it was fixed and communication with me was on-point! Kudos to you all for this quick fix.
We did notice that the chairs on the back porch seemed to be missing the cushions. These may have been stored somewhere, and it wasn't important enough for us to ask, but it would have been nice to be able to sit on those outside.
Also, the shared bathroom upstairs was almost useless to us. The water doesn't come out of the sink well and the shower wasn't working properly. We did just fine without it, but it would have been nice to have that functioning better.
Thanks so much for the great stay! We will definitely use this place again if we need a place in the area and will recommend it to friends!

We had a great time. This is a very unique place that wraps a beautiful old house around your sleeping needs. We will definitely try to book again (already have).

Poorly maintained.
Door code given was wrong with wrong instructions. When we called the number during business hours nobody answered. Luckily we were able to figure out it was a shortened version of the code given.
Bunk beds upstairs are dangerously rickety
Side door is hard to close and falling off the hinges
Cannot use front door at all. It is locked with no way to unlock
Upstairs bathroom adjoining the queen bedroom-tub does not drain well. You end up taking a bath rather than a shower.
Shared bathroom upstairs-toilet leaks from underneath onto the floor leaving a disgusting smell. Cold water in sink doesn’t work at all.
Through out the house many lights burned out. 1:4 light bulbs worked in master bath leaving it very dim.
Great location, but I would not stay here again.

Loved the historic charm and great location! Accommodated everyone nicely and property manager was awesome! If there is anything negative it would be a/c could be better but considering the age of the house it’s understandable and the parking is very tricky.

Fourth of July to float the river
The house was nice and big. Plenty of room. The floors were Filthy. I would probably try to find someone else to clean the house. The first morning there I spent two hours cleaning. Hair dirt was everywhere. The refrigerator did not get cold. Outside on the patio the chairs were thrown about like there was a party. The carpet upstairs in the closet needs to be replaced it is disgusting and I didn’t want to even walk in with my bare feet. The house itself is beautiful home and it’s sad that who’s ever maintaining it is not respecting that

Wonderful Family Celebration
This house is in a really great location for downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn, which is steps away. Off season, February, was quiet and pleasant. The back porch was a great place to enjoy coffee. We would definitely stay again.
Master bedroom was very comfortable. Plenty of beds and baths as described.

Excellent
This house was perfect for our family. We had all we needed. Everyone had plenty of space and the home was very well appointed! We are looking forward to returning to this home. Wouldn't change a thing!

Thanksgiving in New Braunfels.
This property was perfect for our growing family. We had a total of 4 couples and 7 children. The space was perfect for our family. We cooked a huge thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. We spent 4 days (3 nights) and never felt cramped in the least.
The only complaint we had was with the condition of the upstairs hallway bathroom. The shower was not functioning and the sink needs to be replaced. The clear glass doors on the other two bathrooms make it difficult to ensure privacy in those bathrooms and showers.
All in all we had a great stay and I'd recommend this property to any large family looking to spend quality time together.

Perfect house!
My family of five and our friends family of four loved this house. It was perfect! It’s in a great location. It was beautiful. Clean. And I loved the history of it. We had plenty of space and room for even more. I especially loved that each of the adult couples were able to have their own “master suit” with their own bathrooms. Highly recommended. Will for sure stay again.

Excellent location next to Schliterbahn.
Absolutely great location. 4 minute walk to the entrance of schliterbahn. 7 min walk from end of tubing run. Shuttle is available but not needed. House was excellent. New Braunfels has wildlife everywhere. Saw 8 point buck nibbling grass in someone’s front yard. Saw a family of raccoons on our patio observing us. Great great place.

Family Weekend
Great location and home for a weekend of floating and visiting with family. We enjoyed the deck and grill outside. Note that only bath downstairs is 1/2 bath and down 3 stairs.

Great house for family fun
Had a great time! Difficult to get to the house the 1st two days because of construction on road in front of house but house was great. Schlitterbaun was right behind us so it was super convenient.

Great location!
This house is beautiful! It was more than enough room for our 3 adults and 6 kids! Location was perfect- within walking distance to Schlitterbahn and 2 restaurants! Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic, perfectly located historic home
This house is a beautiful, nicely restored historic home located right in the heart of New Braunfels. It's got a large front yard and nice back porch, and we loved that we could shut the gate. We were traveling with two young kids, so we also loved that you can close many of the doors inside (keeping them off the stairs, out of the kitchen, etc.). It made traveling with little kids so much easier. The rooms are nice as well. The hosts were always available for our questions and the keypad lock made self check-in easy.
The house is literally right next door to Schlitterbahn, you can see some of it from the backyard. It's walking distance from downtown New Braunfels and several restaurants. We will definitely be looking to come back this summer!

Great Old House in a Convenient Location!
The house is a beautiful old house full of both beautiful furniture and woodwork with an antique patina and the convenience of a modern kitchen. There were four roomy bedrooms with wonderful showers and plenty of space for two adults each upstairs, and more beds downstairs in the sunroom. The downstairs also has plenty of seating both inside and out on the attached deck. The kitchen is outfitted with a coffee maker (most important to me), as well as a roomy refrigerator and gas range with plenty of cookware. Everything was clean and in good working order, and the AC was nice and cool when we arrived.
Overall, our experience staying here was very positive and I would not hesitate to book again.

Stunning & convenient
This property is the perfect location to Schlitterbahn & the Comal. We thoroughly enjoyed the convenience with a short walk to both places, as well as well as the shops. And coming home to such a gorgeous place was a true treat. Our large family was able to gather together with all the amenities of home. You will be in awe of the character this home holds. If you want charm, comfort & convenience then this is your ideal holiday home.
