The syokan design was fabulous. It's located in the middle of the paddy field. Very peaceful and quiet. Love the services of the staff, very friendly and helpful. They served us dessert when we check-in. The onsen is very nice. They have the foot bath outside of the ryokan which is best for us to enjoy before check out.

Kafutei is a great hotel/Ryokan! We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff is very seviceminded and kind. We had reserved 3 nights but with no meal included. On the first night we went to eat at the hotel restaurant anyways, unfortunately the restaurant can’t serve anyone who hasnt reserved table, but the hotel staff kindly made us some rice meals anyway. great service! Close to the hotel we found a great ramen place, however, you do need a car to get the best of your stay anywhere in Kamamuto. But we highly recommend renting a car and go sightseeing in places like Takachiho and Kikuchi Gorge - beautiful nature all around the hotel. The onsen is nice and has nice lotions etc. The hotel staff left small different treats for us in the room each day and one night as we sat in the small garden, they gave us complimentary desserts. One night the had a small game with prices to be won. Great fun. The hotel provides kimonos and towels and even gave us a small souvenir sponge from Kamamuto when we left. Would come back anytime!!
The address in booking.com wont open in google maps, but we found the hotel by google instead.
