About this house rental

This 4 bedroom, 3-story home has plenty of space to relax with two decks and a private third level master suite. Located in a private neighborhood, our home backs up to common wooded land. Walk or ride your bike on our quiet roads using dedicated bike path is located just outside our neighborhood with biking access to Oak Bluffs, Edgartown or Vineyard Haven. A short walk to 2 private tennis courts (available for your use). Minutes by car to beaches and towns and Farm Neck golf course is only 1 mile away.

On the third floor is a master bedroom suite. The entry brings you into the large sitting room with its own deck, cable TV, and fireplace. The bedroom has a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and a full bath with jacuzzi.

On the first floor there are three large bedrooms (2 with queen beds, one with king (can be twins)), a full bathroom (double sinks) and a laundry room. Perfect for several couples or a family to nestle in with comforts of home and privacy.

The second level has the common space to gather as a family for meals and relaxing, consisting of a living room with fireplace, dining room with a large bay window, and a deck the length of the house, with one half screened. French doors lead from the living room into the den, where you will find many games, movies and books. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, white cabinets and tile floor. There is a coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven and microwave.

The basement was recently finished off, complete with toys and living room area with tv. A perfect space for movie nights and relaxation!

The home is cooled by wall mounted mini-split units in each room, controlled by remote controls. These are very quiet efficient units.

For your baby needs, we have Pack and Plays, high chairs, booster seats for use at the table and plastic bowls, plates, cups, and utensils, and a full sized crib.

Oak Bluffs is a terrific town with great restaurants, beaches, the famous Flying Horses Carousel. Martha's Vineyard has an island wide public bus system with a bus stop just outside Meadow View Farms. The Steamship Authority ferries, the Island Queen, the Hy-Line boat from Hyannis, and Fast Ferries from Rhode Island and New York have ports in Oak Bluffs, a short 5-10 minute ride away,making it easy to pick up guests. The airport is 10 minutes away as well.

We’ve rented this property for a few years in a row since we love it so much. House is so comfortable, clean and well appointed with everything you could ever need for a trip to the vineyard. The neighborhood is beautiful and very convenient. Host is super responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for a great family friendly house.

The house was perfect for our family stay for a wedding! Very well stocked with towels/sheets, along with the kitchen utensils, appliances, and sugar/spices. Lots of games and toys in the playrooms. The owner was also very quick to respond to my questions. Would love to visit again!

The location was perfect, plenty of room for us all. I loved the multiple rooms which allowed us to gather and have different conversations or activities such as TV watching, reading books or playing board games. Also if you like to listen to old vinyl records they have a sweet collection on the 3rd floor with an excellent speaker system. I enjoyed Bob Marley, Credence and Michael MacDonald to name a few. We will be using this location again in the future. Great choice if you're looking to stay on the island and tour. No need for a car, public transportation is easy and affordable. UBER price can be pricey but if there are 3 or more in your group then it's well worth it. Also I noticed that even when I ordered a standard UBER we got the XL so my assumption is that all drivers have the XL. Again it's an assumption but by the 3rd day I only ordered the standard UBER and we had 5 in our group. So that saved us some cash.

Can't say enough positive things about our stay here. We were a family group with 3 children (two under 2 and a 5 year old) and the house was equipped with all the necessities for kids (high chairs, booster seats, toys, etc). The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this for your next vineyard visit!

We had such a great time at Lagoon Heights! The property was as described and MORE! It was the perfect setup and location for our group of 8 adults and two children (ages 2 and 4)! So many thoughtful touches including toys that kept the two little boys busy because they were “new” to them. Also the baby gates were so important to us as our little guy is not trustworthy yet for the up and down. We are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much to Missy and Benji for sharing their beautiful home with us.

The home was incredibly clean and situated very nicely. Away from the busy but close enough to get to anything you wanted to quickly. We rested very well and enjoyed our family time. The homeowners are fantastic and Missy was great to work with.

The house was amazing. It is everything as described in the listing. The house is stocked with books, puzzles, games and plenty of things for kids to do. The downstairs is great for the kids to go and do their thing. The location our family's wedding was close with made it great. There is plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs Master Bedroom was awesome. Had its own deck, and jacuzzi tub. The host was very accommodating and was always ready and responsive with questions. I would highly recommend this location for your stay on Martha's Vineyard.

4 parents, 4 children 7 yo and under, and 1 babysitter (and her boyfriend).. and this house was absolutely perfect! Beautiful, super spacious and kid friendly.. great yard and neighborhood! Amazing finished basement for the kids to enjoy and another kids room off of the main living room. The hosts provided very detailed information and instructions! Would absolutely stay here again!

Everything that was listed and more was there. The location is perfect if you want that serene feel with a 5 minute drive to circuit ave. The kids loved the newly finished basement as it felt like a kids hideaway. I Love to cook, so the kitchen was one of my favorite spaces and the master bedroom. The library was the best part of the upstairs for my daughter. Unfortunately due to the storm we had to leave early. Other than that, it was a great trip!

A perfect visit to MV

This home worked out perfectly for our family of 5 adults. Great common areas, indoor and out. Relaxing wooded setting. Three bikes made it easy to explore MV on bike since bike path is just outside the neighborhood. We cooked meals at home every day, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly want. The location made it easy to get to all points on the island. We would definitely stay here again!

We were lucky enough to book this property for a quick trip to MV in mid-August. To say that the trip and property was perfect, is not much of an overstatement. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our group of 4 adults and 3 children. The owners have thought of everything which allowed us to pack light and not worry about forgetting a little thing or two. Communication with Missy through the process was a breeze and we are already discussing our next trip to Oak Bluffs and would love to stay here again.

Missy and Benj were such great hosts! They had a welcome book on the table when you walked in outlining where to eat in each town, and what to do if it was a beach day, or if it was another activity that you wanted. The house was immaculate! Very clean, towels and sheets were clean in each room folded up waiting for us. The house has so many windows, and has 2 decks! With a screened in Sun room which I loved because I hate mosquito Bites. Also the house is located on a quiet private road, so it was easy to relax, and only a couple minutes drive to Oak Bluff's town and center. I rented this house for a family wedding, and it was such a great time. My family kept commenting how it was such a great house to rent as far as size and comfort level. Wonderful home - Centrally located

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is in a wooded area that affords privacy and peacefulness. It’s location allows quick access to most parts of MV. The home itself is three stories. Three rooms on the first floor and the master suite on the third. All 1st floor rooms are spacious and share a common bathroom. The third floor master suite is quite large and well appointed. The real attraction to the property is the second floor living space which includes the living room, dining room, kitchen and outside deck. It's very comfortable and you feel completely at home. Everything you need for your stay is available and the owners are very quick to respond to emails. We wished our stay was longer and would definitely want tot stay again.
