About this house rental
A few short blocks from the beach and one block from town make this rare cottage located in the Historic District of Boca Grande the perfect get-away. Situated on an over sized property, this sunny home has recently been updated (most recently with a brand new beautiful kitchen... including a gas stove, stainless steel refrigerator, farm house sink, etc.). This house has been meticulously maintained and everything inside the home is brand new, including the furniture, linens, and appliances. The roomy master suite and bath has its own wing which allows for privacy while the two guest bedrooms and bath are on the opposite side of the cottage. Enjoy the spacious open living/kitchen/dining area (hard wood floors throughout the house), the wonderful breeze off the ocean on the front porch or the privacy of the beautifully landscaped back yard surrounded by mature native mango, kumquat, surnaim cherry and black olive trees.

What a charming home in the historic district offering the perfect location for bike rides to dinner and morning strolls to the beach. We had everything we needed and more. The house is spacious and warm filled with beautiful furnishings, comfortable bedding and an inviting kitchen when a stray summer squall calls for a quiet evening in. Susan couldn’t have made us feel more welcome from the moment we booked. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely stay! We were worried post hurricane, but, our stay was wonderful. Most restaurants open, plenty of fun shops open all within walking distance of this well appointed beach house. Spotless, beautiful linens, great beach reads, beach towels, we had a wonderful stay, plan to be back!

This was the perfect rental experience! Susan, the property contact, was very helpful throughout process. House is beautiful with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, open kitchen family room floor plan with bonus front room perfect for relaxing. We loved the location of the house, just a few blocks to the beach. We loved our morning walks to the bakery. The house is cute and charming - perfect for our young family (kids 1.5 and 3.5)! Communication with Susan was great. We would definitely return to the house.

Comfortable cottage in fantastic location
We stayed for four nights with one other family and the cottage had everything we needed - comfortable beds, nice master bath, central air in a fantastic location. There were plenty of beach towels and beach toys. We hope to stay here again!

Darling cottage right in downtown Boca!
We love this home! This was our second time staying here, and it was perfect for our group of 6 women. Two-three short blocks to the beach, one block to downtown. Bedding is soft and fluffy; plenty of bath and beach towels. Susan is readily available for any problems--but we didn't have any!

Quaint, Quirky Cottage by the sea!
We came to Boca Grande on vacation for 4 days with our family. We completely fell in love with the Island. It is so beautiful. Great for families! The accommodation was simply delightful, which made the trip even more extra special! Our only criticism was that we didn’t stay long enough but that means we can come back again! Fantastic!

Gorgeous property, exceptionally clean, and had everything we could possibly need—kids toys, beach chairs and umbrella, bikes, extra beach towels and linens, sunscreen, and place settings for outdoor dining. This was our first time in Boca Grande and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Love the island and the rental. Susan was exceptional to work with. We will 100% be back!

Charming home in walking distance to town and beach
My family had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home over the holiday weekend. I grew up near Tampa and always came to Englewood beach during the summers. This was our first stay on the island and it was so nice. It was a few blocks walk to the beach and one block into town. We walked to and from dinner and lunch and the Gasparilla inn for drinks. The kitchen was fully stocked with all clad pots and Wustof knives. Susan was very responsive and communicated quickly throughout the entire booking process and during our stay if I had any questions. We will be back to Gasparilla island and definitely recommend staying at Susan’s home!

Charming Jewel of a house
This house is so cute! We had 4 adults occupying the 3 bedrooms. The house is well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is thoroughly stocked with pots, pans, and all the cooking utensils needed. I loved it and would rent again.

This is a wonderful vacation cottage. Located close to town, it has every possible amenity from the finest sheets and towels, to charming interior decor, to top of the line appliances and many household extras. The cozy porch in front of the house and the beautifully landscaped outside sunning area were perfect for relaxing. Any questions or minor problems were immediately resolved. Perfect in Every Way!
If I had to summarize this cottage in a single word it would be WOW! It was perfect in every way. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to be out of the fray of the all of the guests staying at the Gasparilla Inn but close enough to have easy access to everything. This cottage fit the bill! We were within a 5 minute walk to everything from this adorable cottage tucked away on a quiet side street. And although this is a historic Boca cottage it is far from being old. The remodel is a perfect nod to the era but in a clean and modern style. We loved everything about this cottage and were so grateful to Susan for being such a gracious host!

Perfect BG Getaway
Our family had a wonderful time in BG and were so impressed with every aspect of the process booking here. It is truly a rare find to have a house that is kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and in a perfect location for food/drinks/beaches while not being in a resort. Susan was so attentive and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect, and everything was so clean and safe. This put us at ease traveling during the pandemic. The house is simply fantastic, with perfect decor and set the mood for the beach vacation, and the gulf with the incredible beaches are an easy walk, bike, or golf-cart ride away. We would easily give this property and the experience a "10/10" and hope to stay here again in the future! Thank you again for a wonderful experience!
