It is fully stocked for a great family getaway with the lake and beach right across the street!
Ride the Rails to Trails 72 mile bikeway right outside our door or take the 10 minute walk to downtown Harrison for pizza, ice cream or rent a kayak, paddleboard, bicycles or a boat!
Our family vacation home has many amenities including:
○Our home has a beach to swim and enjoy the lake!
○Full size laundry with detergent, softener, bleach and fabric sheets.
○Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, serving bowls and platters, plates, mugs, cups, kid cups, plate and bowls, silverware and all utensils needed for cooking just about anything!
○Small appliances include a coffee maker, toaster, can opener, slow cooker, blenders (full size, small and hand held), mixers, steamer, toaster oven, waffle maker, and more!
○Weber 3 burner Genesis grill on the main deck along with plenty of outside seating.
○Each bathroom has fluffy towels (plenty of extras if needed) small soap/shampoo to get started (guests should bring more), hand soap and toilet paper (one extra roll per bathroom is provided).
○The upper linen closet has beach towels for use by guests.
○Yellow towels embroidered (clean your paws) to wipe your dogs feet before heading into the house.

○The living room has a hide-a-bed if needed along with throw blankets in the ottomans. There is a 55" Roku TV with BluRay for some evening entertainment!
•○The master bedroom has a TV with streaming enabled BluRay player.

○There is a full first aid kit located in the kitchen pantry. In case of boo-boo's.
○There is a Pack N' Play located in the master bedroom closet.
○There are couch covers located in the ottoman.

Other things to note
○No keys to return with the electronic Schlage lock.
○A cleaning fee of $225 will be assessed for each stay.
○A government issued ID is required for all rentals.
Some caveats:
○There is really no yard to speak of. No grass etc. so kids have no place to play at the house. Harrison has a nice park right in the center of town with kids toys.
○We are located on the open lake so it is possible the beach will have logs and other debris on it or nearby. We do our best to keep it clear, but cannot guarantee it will be free of logs.
○We do not have a dock, but the town of Harrison has a nice marina with space for your boat.
○Even though we are in town, it is way out in the countryside on the lake, so expect there will be some bugs in the house. Ladybugs especially seem to get in.
○As dog owners ourselves, we welcome canine guests with responsible owners to our vacation home. However due to the additional cleaning time required after a canine guest, we have added a charge of $50 per dog.
We would respectfully ask that owners clear any mess left by their pet. Guests must sign and return the pet policy form.

The house was perfect for us. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed for family meals, including appliances, spices, and cookware. The house was fresh, clean, and had all the comfortable homey touches. Balconies look to the lake and bike path. Communication with Mike was excellent before, during, and after our stay. Would absolutely recommend!

Great home for a family get together. Lots of room. Lots of games to keep younger kids occupied. Host was great, made sure several times that we didn’t need anything. Kitchen had everything that you could possibly need. This is a fully loaded kitchen. A little walk to the town and marina. Beach area for kids to swim. Beautiful lake view from the house and deck. Definitely will be coming back.

Loved the location and the size (lots of bedrooms) of the home. The view was to die for!

We loved our stay at this house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with every plate, pan and utensil you could use, and there were many places to gather. The best thing about this home is in my title -- the view was wonderful. We were there to bike the rail trail which is very close to this home. Perfect location. The add bonus was the ice cream shop just down the road. This place was very clean and the owners made sure there was nothing we needed. Good communication.

Parking is “tight”- we had two vehicles. We all had bikes and it is a fairly rough gravel road. Lots of room, 3 full bathrooms! Lovely balcony overlooking the Lake. We would stay here again.

Our family of 10 stayed here comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed this home with the beautiful lake views from both inside and outside the house. The owner communicates great and was super responsive from the time of reservation to check out. The home is equipped with everything needed! Loved the master suite with the balcony and views! Our family had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for all 8 of us with room for more. The location is convenient to the town. The lake is accessible. The bike path is right there. The lake views are gorgeous.

Great place and location!
Our group (extended family... siblings and cousins...) gather once a year at a rental like this and have for years. This place was well equipped and the owner was great at communication. Again, we have stayed at several rentals like this and often the pots, pans, towels, etc are cheap and/or hard to use. This place even had a small food processor and actual large pots! The pans were great quality and there were plenty of plates and cups and silverware, etc. It has plenty of table space both inside and out for folks to gather, and plenty of blankets and pillows, a Keurig, coffee pots, large fridge with plenty of ice, etc. They even had towels for the dog, and while I have seen complaints in these reviews about lack of yard, my cousin took their dog for a walk each day on the bike trail and he (the dog) had a great time! Harrison is a great little town--fun restaurants and ice cream and a little beach--it's a great summer getaway. Our only suggestion is a sign for the house's beach area just so guests can be sure of which spot is theirs since it is not totally obvious. We only used that area once--the bike path and the road takes you right to the town beach and the kids loved that. The view is amazing--we lived out on the deck and visited with each other to that great view! And the bunk room downstairs is terrific--the kids loved the games, etc. Thanks so much for sharing your home! We would definitely rent from here again!

Best Vrbo ever!
It’s was truly an amazing experience. They had everything we could possibly have needed and then some! Very clean and so organized. We had 4 adults, 2 children, one under a year and 2 dogs. Everyone had a place to gather and to have private time if they wanted. The master is a suite with a beautiful salon, coffee bar area. All the comforts of home and then some!
3 beautiful decks with lake views and my husband loved the barbecue! Just steps away from the Coeur d’Alene bike trail and just a hop to the public beach and marina! We will be back for sure😍

Lakefront Oasis
My family and I rented here for the Christmas / New Years holiday week and this was by far the best VRBO we have ever rented. The host / property owner Michael was an excellent communicator and so easy to deal with. We needed to add an extra day due to weather concerns and travel conditions and he was very responsive. He made sure once we checked in we had everything we needed for the week which was great hospitality to say the least. The property was well stocked with everything we needed which made my wife super happy, the views were spectacular and the area was really quiet. We for sure got enough R&R and would definitely rent this location again…we are hoping this summer actually. If you want a great location / great house / great host this is your place, I highly recommend it. Thank you so much for the use of the house and being so fantastic during our stay.

Quiet place
We stayed over thanksgiving, they had most of what we needed in the kitchen. Very clean but has zero outdoor space for pets.

Comfortable lake home.
Very nice, comfortable well stocked home (except TP and propane ran out) with lovely decks overlooking the lake. Spectacular setting right on the trail of the Coeur d’Alenes! But, in need of exterior cleaning / maintenance.

Relaxing
Very spacious home. Many places to sleep and comfortable and beautiful setting. 10 minute walk to the city park in Harrison which is great for family swimming and hanging out. The host is great and communicates well. Many thoughtful amenities at the house like a snack box unpin checking in and we’ll stocked Kurieg coffee.

Great for Family Reunion
The property was comfortable and had a good view of the lake. The kitchen was better equipped than my own in terms of utensils, and pots & pans. The wifi and internet access was very good. Our family is small, and the 4 bedrooms and three baths was just right for our reunion. The common area was big and comfortable. The eight of us were able to gather and talk in comfort. Also appreciated the "welcome basket" of soft drinks and snacks. If you want to use the water the best bet is to go to the Harrison public docks and beach. The cabin has no beach front of its own. We didn't find the beach described in the ad. I'm sure it's there, we just got confused with the "private" signs on some of the trails and gave up. I highly recommend this home if you want to visit the lake with convenience and comfort.

Perfect Lake House
We stayed at this home for five nights and found it to be the perfect Lake House for a family vacation. There is a well equipped kids room downstairs and comfortable more adult quarters on the top floor. This home literally came with EVERYTHING you could need. The local beach is a short pleasant walk away. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. 5/5 would recommend.

Harrison Idaho House
Mike, the owner, was very accommodating of our situation and made every means possible to assure our comfort. We were traveling with a large family group and required certain considerations. We will be keeping the Idaho House on our travel board for future visits.

Just a few suggestions
Enjoyed but have a few suggestions. All the beds had terrible squeaks every time you moved. We did pull out the cutting board and it had not been cleaned from last usage. Just an oversight from the cleaners. The gutters were very full! Thanks for the stay we did enjoy our time away! Lots of room in the house and lots of extras!

Wonderful stay in Harrison
Our family had a great stay at this spot. The house was comfortable and clean with great views of the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked for both kids and grown ups with many items I would never expect in a rental. Our kids (5 and 7 years old) loved the bunk room and toys downstairs. The lake was refreshing to swim and play in. For our family it did take about ten minutes to walk there. The town of Harrison is close and has delicious ice cream.

Family Lake Getaway
Our family get-together in Harrison, Idaho was a great time for the entire family. The house was well maintained and had excellent views of the lake from two different decks. It was very close to the downtown area, which was also very tourist friendly, and the owner Michael was very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone...

Well equipped lake house
A group of six friends stayed at this lake house for several days to ride on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. The Trail passes just in front of the house.
Everything was just as in the listing. We cooked all our meals at the house. The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, pots and pans and kitchen gadgets. The outside table on the deck was perfect for summer dinners with good food and conversation. There was plenty of space for the six of us to spread out.
All in all a wonderful place to spend some time in beautiful northern Idaho.

Perfect escape
This rental was everything and more! The view was better than photos, we enjoyed frequent use of the many decks, and the bunk beds space downstairs was perfect for our 3 kids (ages 7-10) to hang out away from adults. The house had numerous amenities, and lots of space for all 9 of us. We would love to come back again!

This was a great find for our family weekend! The house was everything we had been led to expect. The kitchenware was all that we needed and not just cast offs. Mike was very easy to reach and responded quickly. The views are fabulous. We enjoyed the small town atmosphere of Harrison. This is a great getaway!
