About this house rental
This river view house with 200 feet of Rogue River frontage is a great choice for family vacations. The 2,700 sq. ft. recently remodeled house is located on 2 acres at the end of a private drive, yet is minutes from downtown Grants Pass, a hospital, restaurants and a supermarket. It consists of a main house and an attached apartment and can host up to 8 people. All of the appliances, furniture, heating and air conditioning systems are new as of 2017 or 2018, and wireless internet and TV are provided. It is a perfect place for two families vacationing together while also having the privacy of separate units.
Please note that we have had many inquires about pets, despite stating that they are not allowed, and we are firm about not allowing pets.
The main house has gorgeous Rogue River views from the living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. It is ground level and can host up to 6 people. In this open plan house, there is a plenty of room and seating areas to gather together for conversations and meals while enjoying river views. Meals can be served at the dining table and a large granite countertop peninsula. A fully equipped kitchen will provide everything you need for home cooking. The main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed, and one bedroom has a king size bed. One bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination and is not attached. Another bathroom has a shower and is attached to the master bedroom.
The apartment is located over a garage on the downstream side of the house and has stunning views of the Rogue River from a large deck, dining/living area, kitchenette and bedroom. The apartment has two bedrooms. The first bedroom with a river view has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a king size bed. The apartment has one bathroom with a shower. You can access the upstairs apartment from either the main house or from outside.
Go outside and spend your time in the yard at the picnic tables while making your favorite barbecue meal. Enjoy watching ospreys dive and catch fish, geese swimming with their goslings, or the occasional raft or boat on the river. Go fishing from the bank along over 200 feed of river frontage. Or arrange a raft trip that embarks or disembarks at the beach in front of the house.
Float lazily down the Rogue, hire a fishing guide, take a Jetboat tour or raft down Hellgate Canyon’s world-famous rapids. Or relax while watching geese, ducks, osprey, deer or an occasional bald eagle. Visit Crater Lake, the coastal redwoods or the Wildlife Safari (a 600-acre drive-through animal park) – each is about 90 minutes away on scenic drives. Go wine tasting in Applegate, Rogue Valley or Umpqua Valley to see why the Wine Enthusiast magazine calls Southern Oregon a “Top 10 Global Wine Destination.” Take in a play at Ashland’s world-famous Shakespeare festival. Go hiking in the nearby woods. Enjoy the quaint shops and restaurants of Grants Pass or nearby towns. Or just enjoy the fireplace while you watch the river.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN GRANTS PASS
The home was fantastic. It was large & roomy.
Great view of the river. We saw 2 bald eagles fishing in river right in front of house. The property only has one tv in the main house. We were a little bummed we could not get any of the NFL games on the Dish network basic pkg. But we lived!

Relaxing Getaway
It was just as described. A beautiful location, the house artfully decorated and well appointed. The beds were beautifully "dressed" and quite comfortable. The kitchen was quite well equipped and had pretty much everything we needed. The only thing our men would have appreciated more would have been a gas barbecue, as charcoal can be challenging to keep going. Other places we have stayed have them. The setting is so serene, we did not have need to venture out much. We were content to just stay in and read, relax, eat, drink, and just basically hang out. Mark, the owner, was great to work with and quick to respond to any communication.

Fabulous
Overall a lovely location right on the river. Close enough to town not to be cumbersome for groceries, etc and far enough away that while there you can embrace the scenery and wonder that is southern Oregon. The house is very accommodating and had plenty of space for our extended family (4 couples). Will plan to stay again when coming back to see our neice. Thank you!

AWESOME!!
This home was perfect for our group of 11. I would highly recommend to any large group. The apartment and house were easily accessible and quiet, even with a large group. The amenities in the house were fantastic. It is in a great location and sitting on the deck watching the river was so relaxing. Our grandchildren were so excited, they just loved the home and want to live there. :) Mark was always available by text and answered all our questions right away. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you.

Relaxing!
Great place for our little family reunion. 4 couples, one 7 year old. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out without feeling cramped. The yard was perfect for playing frisbee and watching the wildlife drawn by the river. Kitchen and bathrooms well stock for all our needs for the week!

Beautiful spot
This well equipped home has a beautiful river view and is perfect for a large family gathering. The lawn is great for games and the barbecue large enough for any group cookout. Two picnic tables provide ample outdoor seating. The home is well kept. We hope to return.

Great Property
We loved this home. Beautiful inside and out. The separate apartment was an added bonus. I would give this a 5 star rating.

Heavenly
Wonderful property right on the river. The inside of the home is very nice and up to date. The beds were heavenly! There were eight guests that stayed and all of them commented on how nice the beds were. Also, it was very easy to work with the owner. Thank you for letting us share this little bit of heaven.

A perfict facility for our annual family gathering.
Spacious home that allowed our group of twelve to do things as a group, yet have conversations and play games in smaller groups. Well furnished and outfitted for our needs. Our family has established this particular weekend to get together and over the past twenty five years we have rented a variety of homes in Oregon. The whole family agreed we want to come back next year.
