Saranac Lake is a year round resort with many many things to see & do. This home is perfectly situated 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake's bars & restaurants, yet secluded on a quiet private road. No neighbors can be seen from the property. 1 mile from Lake Flower boat ramp and new rail trail, 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake, 3 miles from Mt Pisgah, 7 easy miles from Lake Placid & Olympic Village, 19 miles from Whiteface mountain, Memorial Drive & North Pole Santa's Village. There are beaches, boat ramps, kayaking, hiking trails, snow tubing, snowmobiling, X country skiing nearby. Also, there is the Ski jump, bobsled and public ice skating in Lake Placid. Boat rentals available nearby for total enjoyment on the Saranac chain of lakes. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe available for use in nearby Lake Flower or second pond. This log home has 2 large bedrooms on the main floor both with Queen size beds. A large newly renovated bathroom w/ stand up shower also on the main floor. On the lower level is a private entrance large 3rd bedroom which has a twin over full bunk bed and a queen size bed. A 2nd bathroom with a bathtub is located on the lower level. The lower level room can handle a whole family on its own. An open area living room with a beautiful artisan stone fireplace will keep you warm at night. 8 man pub dining table and a fully equipped newly renovated kitchen. A pull out couch is in the living room. Off to the side is a screened in porch and a back deck with a patio table/chairs and stainless steel gas BBQ. (propane provided). In the side yard is a patio/fire pit with Adirondack chairs for enjoying a camp fire and relaxing. Washer/ Dryer is provided. Free high speed Wi-Fi provided. Rollaway cot and air mattress. 50' HD TV in living room and 32" led tv downstairs. Blue ray DVD and sound bar. Kuerig K cup machine with complimentary coffee. *No extra pet fees*

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The house is spacious and accommodated our family which included an infant and a toddler. The house is conveniently located about a mile from the new bike trail and it was a short drive to Lake Placid. The owners were responsive to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This cozy home in the woods provided the perfect setting for our family reunion. The large dining table set the place for warm family gatherings. With the house set back a comfortable distance from the road, we could be assured that our young grandchildren would be safe too. Last, the house is located in a convenient location enabling us to easily take advantage of the Adirondack setting.

Highly recommend this property for a stay in the Lake Placid region. Communication with homeowner was prompt and clear, and check in was a breeze! The cabin was spotlessly clean, very cozy, warm and welcoming.
The decor matched the surroundings and gave the house an upscale, rustic feel.
All the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, glassware, cookware, etc. you could possible need. There were even spices available in the cabinet! The wood burning stove/fireplace was great, adding warmth and charm to the living area. Some wood was provided by the homeowner...and more wood was easily available to purchase at nearby stores.
The location was convenient to virtually all of the attractions in the area, with drive times generally less than 15 minutes.

We are hikers so we are looking for a place to lay our head, shower and make some food and cold drinks or hot. Beautiful house and well stocked. We tried using the fire pit but the bugs were bad and the citronella candles were all gone so we just retreated inside for drinks and playing cards.

The property had a log cabin feel in a cottage style home. Very quiet neighborhood with privacy. Location was fantastic. 15 minutes to Lake Placid and 5 minutes to the center of the town of Saranac Lake. Ample accommodations if you want the deep woods cabin feel without being away from civilization. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity presented itself!

My husband and I took our parents away to boat in the Saranac Lake region. The weather was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay at this home - where it was easy to prepare big breakfasts before setting off on our adventures for the day! We did not take advantage of the fireplace (not needed) nor the outdoor firepit - but that was due to the presence of black flies and mosquitoes! They too, it seems , were enjoying the exceptionally warm weather that weekend! Great home - provided all we needed for a relaxing get-away!

This log home was one of the highlights of our very enjoyable week long stay in Saranac Lake. It has such natural, rustic beauty. The views of the woods outside each window add to its inside beauty and peace. There were 6 adults, 2 toddlers and everyone had room to spread out!
The very large lower level bedroom was perfect for my daughter's family of four at the end of the day. Her two toddlers (4 & 2 yrs) had loads of fun inside and outside of the spacious, clean, well kept home.
After our daily Adirondack adventures, we enjoyed returning to its comfort and peace.
Grocery stores and restaurants were not far.
We would love to return to this peaceful log home!

Cozy cabin, great location, perfect winter getaway!
We truly enjoyed this house- the layout is perfect with a cozy living room/kitchen space. The downstairs bedroom/bath gave our teenagers/young adults the perfect private space. We enjoyed our time playing games, watching movies, cooking (kitchen was extremely well- stocked). Family wants to return in the summer so we can enjoy the kayaks, firepit, etc. Thank you to Jason for hosting this terrific home!

Perfect Family Getaway
Perfect home to celebrate the beginning on 2022. It is close to Whiteface Mt and Lake Placid. The home is very well maintained. We loved that our teen girls were able to have their own space downstairs with a TV and bathroom. We hope to rent this lovely home again soon!

Very nice cabin. Clean, safe, and convenient. Very close to town and Owner communication was excellent. One note = do not forget to bring your own towels... ;0). The shower door in upstairs bathroom is a bit tricky, you just have to provide a little bit of upward pressure on handle to close completely. Great place to stay... would highly recommend.

Great location, in a quiet neighborhood, close to both Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Made a wonderful base for hiking adventures with our two dogs. Lots of amenities, everything you need for a memorable Adirondack vacation.

Clean and peaceful
Wonderful location that feels remote but is a short drive to downtown Saranac Lake or nearby Lake Placid. Also a good central location for hikes and other attractions in the area. This is one of the cleanest rental properties we've stayed at. It was comfortable and well-equipped. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for the kids and wasn't musty despite being below grade. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks/canoe on the nearby ponds and lake. The house became a bit warm during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, but the fans and the screened porch helped with that. A very enjoyable stay.

Great Experience!
Completely private well maintained home located right outside of Saranac Lake and 10-15 minutes from Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to bring our dogs which was a huge plus. Our host communicated well the property was nicer than even described. We made use of the gorgeous fireplace anytime we weren't enjoying the many outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend this property and host and we will look to book again in the future!

Property was spacious and comfortable. Perfect location, just close enough to activities and shops but with nice wooded property that was quiet and private. Kitchen and living room were great for evening card games and reading after a long day of enjoying hiking and outdoor activities. Appreciated the attention to detail and all the home supplies provided.

Great place to stay
We had a great experience with our house. It was just beautiful. It was very clean, everything was shoveled and the walkways were clear of snow. Very close to Saranac Lake. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I hope there is an opening for me next year.

Simply amazing!
The house is simply amazing! It looks and it is more functional then one can see in the pictures. Easily fits 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Very secluded area however very close to downtown Saranac ( and other attractions that we wanted to explore). It is thoughtfully stocked with all of the necessities. This was our first stay in the area but we truly hope to return . Thank you for renting your house to us!
