About this house rental
Oceanside home located directly on Sand Hills Beach. Beautiful ocean sunrise and sunset views. A great place to get away from it all and relax on the ocean. Beautiful five bedroom home, three full baths, outdoor shower and large deck overlooking the ocean with steps to the beach. We are located one mile from the center of Scituate harbor with many quaint shops and restaurants. Just a short walk to the beautiful Scituate lighthouse. Perfect for summer/fall vacations, overnight stays for in-town weddings, anniversaries, special occasions, or an off season long weekend getaway.

I can't say enough about this property - spectacular deck, walking to lighthouse, downtown, responsive and great owners. (I had a quick question and received an immediate response - faster than i would expect). The house is beautiful, warm & inviting. We had a great stay enjoying the beach, deck, neighborhood - and when it briefly rained, we enjoyed the view through the glass doors to the deck - everything we needed was there.
Could not ask for more! Highly recommend!

This was our 5th year at the property, and it is our favorite summer place. The property has everything you need, with spectacular views of the ocean. There are some great restaurants near by and a general store across the street. We have really grown to love Scituate and the property.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the Sullivan’s Sand Hills Beach house. It was early June and the weather cooperated so we had plenty of time to enjoy the beach, the large deck, and the amazing views. The family room furniture and the deck chairs and loungers were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication and check in went smoothly. This is really the ideal spot on the beach (plenty of sandy space even in high tide) and is an easy 15-20 minute walk into the cute town of Scituate. We would love to return for another stay in this great home!

Our family was in town for a wedding and it was the perfect location. We got to enjoy the beach and was walking distance to town! It was a great house with everything we needed and more!

This is a gorgeous, ocean-front home that easily fit 10 adults (we were here for a wedding). The house was very clean and had lots of space and linens for our crew. Beds are comfortable! This would be a perfect choice for families as well. Scituate is a fun seaside town with great restaurants and shops. Homeowner was easy to contact. Highly recommend!

This is our 4th year in Scituate and we have absolutely loved it. Each year our 'perspective' changes with our growing children so it makes it a new and different experience each time. The property is absolutely amazing and there is plenty of room for our kids and the deck is awesome for enjoying sunsets and just watching the rest of our family down at the beach. The hosts are always responsive to any of our questions! This is always our favorite week of the entire year.

This house is amazing. The deck with its high top Adirondack chairs was our go to spot morning, noon and night. The view from the beachfront deck was awesome. There were steps leading down to the beach which was ideal for the 4 little ones. The house had plenty of room for the 10 of us with its 4 bedrooms on the second floor and mini suite on the top floor. The kitchen was well stocked and linens and beach towels were provided. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing week. Thank you Trish! See you next year. Elaine A.

A fun beach house located "close in" to Scituate Harbor. The house is well taken care of and provides a wide open great room with views of the ocean. It was perfect for my family.

Property was nice. We had 9 adults staying for 4 days before we went on a cruise out of Boston. Location was great. The view of the ocean was spectacular. It was cold outside so we didn't get to use the deck, but it is fantastic! Reasonable distance into Boston.

This is a wonderful house to hang out in with the family for a very relaxing week ON the beach. First, the house was pristine clean when we arrived. Everything was in place and ready for the next renters. The bedroom situation was perfect for our family of 10 - 6 adults and 4 kids. Beds were comfortable.
Although the bedrooms were small they were very adequate and there were plenty of other places in the house to hang out. The third floor was terrific with a king bed, an extra queen bed and open space and couches.
The deck was our favorite place, huge and well outfitted with comfortable chairs. We could sit there and watch the kids on the beach below us! The ocean was moderate in the cove so great for children. Sometimes really calm and other times a little “surf” so they could safely play in the waves. More seaweed than expected but that depended on the weather.
Everything we needed was there. We brought extra stuff but didn’t need it. Do bring your own hairdryer and shampoo/ soap stuff. There are plenty of beach towels and beach chairs.
Location was good. Easy walk to the lighthouse, a little longer to town but short walk to town beach for a change in shell searching. General store across the street was convenient.
We loved it here and will come again.

As always we had an amazing week in Scituate. Having the house right on the water is amazing with our family having young children. They all enjoyed walks on the beach and spending time on the deck. This property is beautiful and the hosts are more than accommodating.

I would rent this house again for the deck alone. Sit and watch the ocean for hours! It was beautiful. House was very clean and had plenty of room for our party of 10. First floor has no a/c but once the ocean breeze kicked in it was very comfortable. Being steps from the beach is a dream. Can’t wait to rent again next year!

This was our third stay at this property, and we love it- the location is a short walk from the lighthouse or downtown; the deck/view cannot be beat, and when you walk into the house, you immediately feel at home. It also feels SPOTLESS! Plenty of room and nice doors with a view for inclement weather. I can't really say enough about this - and Trish and her family are responsive & helpful. Great place to stay! Highly recommend!

My friends and I rented the house after we completed the Ragnar New England relay race. The house was big enough to fit us comfortably (10 adults) and the deck was our favorite place to hang out! The beach is beautiful and being right on the water can't be beat. The general store across the street is very convenient, and the house was well stocked with everything we could need.

This was the perfect weekend to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. The people that own the store next door were so nice to us as was the neighbors. We have already decided we will book this house again next year

We just came home from our 2nd Annual Moms' Weekend away and we are all looking forward to next year already. We love sitting on the deck, going for walks on the beach, walking to downtown to grab a drink or some lunch, and just listening to the ocean. The house is beautiful, clean, and the perfect location. All needs met. Plenty of glasses ,dishes,and towels. Fridge wasn’t cold enough but between the amount of food that was in it and how many times it was opened all day may have been the reason. Just thought to mention just in case something needs to be checked. Great spot, my favorite place on earth.

This property was right on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean from a very spacious deck. We appreciated the hooks on the gates of the deck as we had a 13 month old with us that loved to roam, The house had all we needed and we visited the store across the street, for ice and drinks. The house itself was very child friendly, with the highlight doing laps from kitchen to living room and back. Weather was wonderful and the water was nice not too cold Thank you

The large deck with latching gates overlooking the ocean was a life saver with a 1 year old being all over the place and the other grandchildren as well! We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. We had the most amazing gorgeous weather this November weekend. The owners were very accommodating and friendly with my many questions. We spent hours sitting out on the deck and walking on the beautiful beach. We found lots and lots of cool rocks. We walked a few times out to the cool lighthouse 1/2 mile away. And also walked into town to wander around the shops. The kitchen is pretty basic, but functional and had most of the cooking items we needed... Including a very fun toaster :-). The couches in the Living Room were very comfy, as was the little reading nook upstairs. Lots of beds to choose from, and 3 full bathrooms. Highly recommended.
