Everything about our stay was perfect. The host was very responsive with great information and the house was close to everything.

We had a great girls trip to see JT! The location to Rupp Arena was PERFECT! We were able to walk to our event in under 10 minutes, slightly downhill. You pass lots of places to eat and shop too! The cabin/house was perfect for our group. There was a bed upstairs that was a little squeaky but we survived. The notes in the review book made us laugh and made the whole night even better! If we ever see anyone else at Rupp Arena we will totally reach out to stay here! Thanks for helping add to our memories!

This historic home was clean, has nice linens, and a good location. We enjoyed the nearby coffee and breakfast shops.

We three meet every year to explore a city and Lexington was it this year. This place was the perfect place. It's right downtown next to a university and park in a lovely neighborhood. Parking was right there! The house is one of the original homes in Lexington and filled with history and decorated perfectly. Lots of comfy beds. A small kitchen so don't plan on doing any gourmet meals but great for breakfast and charcuterie boards. Very close to distilleries and horses and gardens. What more do you need?

This historic home is in the best neighborhood in Lexington, right in the middle of other historic homes and walking distance to many great restaurants. It is nicely appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. The listing photos depict it very well. My family and I would stay here again.

We came to town to visit our son and attend a baseball game. We had a group of 9. There was ample free parking. It was a very easy walk to downtown and Rupp. We had the “house chef” cater a brunch for us and that was amazing!!! The kitchen is very small so would advise against trying to cook for a large group. Overall a fantastic experience! And a big win for the cats too!

We stayed at Morrison Cabin for a family wedding. It was an absolutely perfect place for a gathering. Sparkling clean and comfy. The antiques are just gorgeous.
This was our first time in Lexington, and Morrison Cabin was a perfect home base. We didn't need to rent a car. Easily walkable to wonderful restaurants and coffee shops.Instantly responsive host. Highly recommend!

Comfortable cabin in convenient location. Clean, well appointed, and walkable to Rupp and several restaurants. Only complaint was the street noise due to proximity to a fairly busy intersection. Stayed over a holiday weekend and heard several emergency vehicles throughout the night.

Loved the history and charming personality of the cabin! Our group of seven wanted a unique place to stay and the Morrison Cabin was ideal. In addition to all the modern amenities, the beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and easy access to local restaurants and attractions. Communication with John was great, we highly recommend this gem!

We stayed at the Morrison cabin for our daughter’s graduation from Transylvania. It was the perfect location for all the events on campus and for going out to eat and enjoying downtown. Once we parked the car we did not need it again until we left. The cabin comfortably accommodated our family of 6 adults. It was also beautifully decorated.

We brought our 3 children ages 4-9 to spend Christmas with their cousins in Lexington and loved the neighborhood and character of this restored cabin. Tasteful art and decor throughout this gem. Convenient to historical properties in Gratz Park, but also to the Henry Clay estate and within walking distance to Mary Todd Lincoln’s childhood home. There are several great local restaurants and bars nearby, within walking distance or a short drive away. Highly recommend!

It is a very comfortable, rustic cabin with all the normal amenities. Very convenient location with many restaurants within walking distance. Four adults and two kids stay very comfortably. Would definitely stay again. Only suggestion - needs brighter lights.

We rented two houses from John. He is a true gentleman and a very caring person. We had an issue with one of the houses. He not only responded instantly, he went above and beyond to take care of the problem. Always kind and preofessional on the calls, John provided and excellent stay for our family and friends in these beatifully decorated, historical and beautiful houses. I recommend the house with great confidence and you will not regret. Sibel

Wonderful, historical cabin in great neighborhood with everything close by. Comfortable and clean with tasteful and updated amenities. Great beds, fluffy pillows, located by great restaurants, bakeries and loads of historic landmarks. Parking is easy and convenient. The cabin is located on a very busy street. Luckily, your hosts are kind enough to provide white noise machines in the bedrooms that block out most of the sounds. Lovely and unique place to stay! Would highly recommend.

We stayed at this house for 1 overnight to reconnect with friends and overall we were delighted. It was very clean, comfortable beds, etc.
Unfortunately this property is on a major thoroughfare for emergency vehicles and as the house is old, and right up against the road, people sensitive to noise might want to carefully consider before booking. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
The location, otherwise, is very convenient to shops and cafes.

A real treasure!
A group of friends from Eastern Ky and Atlanta rented this cool cabin to stay in after a day at Keeneland. It was such a great place! It offered a cozy living room where we could all spend time together before retiring to the very comfortable bedrooms. We loved the history of the cabin, its architectural features, furnishings, and location. It was very clean and well-supplied. We ALL loved it (including the men) and will definitely stay there again sometime!

Great place with the best owners!
We just had a wonderful weekend staying here. The house is exactly as described and had many extras that made our stay a more comfortable one. Honestly though, the best part of the stay was communicating with the owners. We had one hiccup come up (through no fault of their own) and they were immediately on it to make sure our stay was not affected. They are very kind owners who obviously take pride in their properties. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
