We are originally a family of 5, but with a couple of in-laws and 2 grandkids, we made 9. The home is spacious and well laid out. Very comfortable, allowing people to have a break, if needed. Short walk to the water line, and short drive to the beach.
Well equipped kitchen to cook and dine-in, but lso some nice places to eat nearby.
Very much enjoyed our stay, and hope to return, again!

We had our yearly family trip to Maine, and we loved this property. My only wish was there was a beach to hang out on. The pictures show a beach, but it is not on the property, there is a rocky coast followed by quick sand like mud. It was not much fun for the kids. That was the only drawback, everything else was impeccable.

It was so relaxing to watch the sea and listen to the birds as we sat out on the huge porch. One of our favorite things to do was going out to Marshall Point Light.

This house was perfect for our two families of four adults and three kids and exceeded expectations.
The deck is enormous, with plenty of seating and stellar ocean views. The kitchen/living room accommodated all of us easily, and the bedrooms were comfy with plenty of storage. Upstairs room with TV and massive window views of water that’s also a place at night to have fun without waking those who hit the hay early. The property is perfectly nestled between Tenant’s Harbor and Port Clyde, which were both less than 5 mins away by car. And the Drift Inn beach was an even easier drive, with plenty of parking just steps away. In short, this spot is great.

Perfect setting for relaxing get away. We saw deer in the back yard, beautiful sunrises, and breathtaking lightening over the water. This was our second year staying here, and strongly recommend the property and the hosts

very nice comfortable house with lots of airy, open space for visiting with family and friends, both inside and out. Appreciated the well supplied kitchen-- nice to not have to get salt, pepper and other essentials for a weeklong visit.

The house was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. This was our first time visiting Maine and it was everything we were hoping and more. We were a group of 10 and the house was plenty big enough. The kids had a blast with everything that was offered. Overall it was peaceful and relaxing for everyone. Great location to everything.

The property is well-situated in a peaceful section of the St. George peninsula near Port Clyde and has fine views of a cove and the open ocean beyond the cove. The house was well-provisioned with pretty much everything we needed. We encountered a small maintenance item and the owners were very responsive. While the house can sleep ten people, four people would need to sleep in an open space setting on the second floor (two sofa beds).

My two sisters and their families stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Spacious rooms and huge yard made it easy for all 8 of them. They lived making campfires at night down by the water.

Property was awesome. Clean, great location, and owner easy to contact. Saw deer, wild turkeys and bald eagles from the deck

Repeat visit
My family and I have been at Lilyview three times. We make it a triennial trip 2016, 2019, and 2022. This house is so beautiful and peaceful! There are things to do, nearby beach, lighthouse and museum, and many art museums that are very close by. The owner is great to work with and we always have fun.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house had everything you could possibly need, including an amazing view of the bay. We especially liked the short proximity to Drift in Beach, right down the road. Just a really nice location in Midcoast Maine.

A beautiful and enchanting vacation house by the sea
We have a pleasant experience overall. Checking in was a breeze. The house was huge and did i already mention that it was beautiful? Its close proximity to magnificent points of interest is a major plus. Highly recommended especially for a family who seeks solitude and be at peace with nature. It’s pretty abundant in the area and my family enjoyed every bit of our stay at Lilly View. Thanks to Lisa for the opportunity to experience and have a taste of the lovely town of Martinsville and its surrounding area.

Our stay was great. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable- and the view was fantastic. Our family of 5 was very happy there.
We were able to get into the water at high tide. We had rented some kayaks and a paddle board - and you need a couple of strong guys to clear the rocks to gain access to the water but once you are in - the area is great for paddling - protected and gorgeous. We got rained out of going to Mohegan Island and hiking, but the house was so comfortable, we didn’t mind. We had plenty of room to spread out and work on puzzles, read, watch a ball game. The views from the 2nd floor are stunning and there are so many places on the back deck for watching the tide coming in. We also went to the local beach which we really enjoyed and we saw a GORGEOUS sunset at Marshall Light. There are some restaurants nearby - we all had plenty of seafood in a great family setting. The homeowners were responsive and lovely. Definitely recommend.

In all, this was an enjoyable stay for our family. It gave us a taste of a New England summer beach house experience, with close proximity to Port Clyde and reasonable access to Camden and Rockport.
The house is spacious and generally comfortable. Future renters should note that the furniture is quite aged, and while we are indifferent to the aesthetics of aged furniture, we did experience less-than-ideal comfort with some of the mattresses (especially the foldout couches).
The house was well-stocked in terms of appliances and dish ware. The grill was a major plus.
The true highlight was the back deck and the access down to waterfront. It is not a beach-type access point, but it is beautiful and scenic nonetheless.
The check-in process was mostly positive. The owners were accessible and helpful at every turn. The only negative was that we arrived for our 4pm check-in, only to discover the cleaning service still present. The gentleman was very nice and explained that the extra cleaning precautions post-Covid were the reason. We understand—though the delay left us without access to the property for about 30 minutes, which slowed down settling and dinner prep.
Again, this was an enjoyable experience for our family.

House was spotless upon arrival and the owner was extremely communicative (even with some minor issues that have popped up!). The backyard slopping into an amazing tidally influenced bay was dreamy with clouds and pine trees in every direction the eyes could see. During a summer when everyone needed some time away from it all, it was perfect!

Great Family House
We really enjoyed our stay at LilyView. The floor plan is wide open with room for everyone to relax. Waking up with the sunrise out your bedroom window was just beautiful. Relaxing on the deck was great with views of the bay. Great location for local restaurants, too. Very enjoyable!

A dream vacation!
We just enjoyed our second summer's visit to Lilyview. It is absolutely perfect. The views from nearly every vantage point takes your breath away. The spacious home with tasteful comfortable furniture and decor suits your every need. I told a friend recently that I would look out the glass doors of this beautiful home and laugh out loud with joy--with the beauty that seemed almost unreal. Highly highly recommended. We cherish every moment we've spent there.

Wonderful Getaway
We had a fantastic stay at LillyView over Labor Day weekend! The outdoor setting and view is pretty much perfect -- from the large lawn, to the lawn sitting/fire pit area, to the water's edge and opportunity for some rock jumping at low tide. The deck of the house also is large, comfortable and safe for little ones to toddle/crawl around. The house itself is very clean and comfortable (not at all dusty/musty as you sometimes find in rental homes), and worked well for our two families (although I should note that our older kids were more than happy sleeping on the pullouts in the large upstairs family room/play area even though the light is bright in the early morning -- it might be tight for two families if everyone wants to be in a bedroom). The upstairs open family room with large windows overlooking the harbor was perfect for our needs -- plenty of space for both relaxing and playing. We also loved the proximity to Drift Inn Beach (about a 15 minute walk, most of it along a main road with little/no shoulder but also 2 mins in the car) and Port Clyde!! Loved both the area and the beautiful home -- we plan to return!!

Beautiful home and setting!
Really enjoyed our stay with our kids and grandkids. The house is as described and the peaceful setting right on the water was so relaxing. There is a sandy beach about a mile away for the kids to explore and they throughly enjoyed it. We were sad to leave.
