Great staff, Best Food and Great vibe

One of the Closest hotels to the Goyambokka Beach, They have best staff ever. especially Lal, and Sarfaraz Great food at their restaurant. We had some of our best food in all of Sri Lanka in this hotel. Would stay here again.

our triple room was little small, and felt congested. If they can use smaller beds, maybe will be better

Goyambokka guest house = calm down and relax

So relaxing. We enjoyed a lot their location into the green and at 1 minute by feet from a beautiful beach and very close to the stunning Silent beach. Not far from Tangalle and well served by tuktuk, with good restaurants nearby where to go out for dinner. Very good insight restaurant with very good breakfast and delicious banana pancakes with vanilla icecream. Would definetly come back here. Also the pool was amazing.

The espresso coffee, but we come from Italy so maybe its me!

Beautiful room in a beautiful location

Location to the beautiful Goyambokka beach was amazing. The grounds of the property were also very stunning and the pool was an excellent bonus. Our room was an upstairs deluxe villa and was stunning. We had high vaulted ceilings and a ceiling fan in the bedroom and on the balcony. We didn’t have air conditioning but it wasn’t a problem. The balcony had two comfy daybeds and had a lovely view over the gardens. Breakfast and dinner were in a covered area and the food was delicious.

Très joli petit hôtel confortable dans un magnifique jardin avec très belle piscine, idéalement situé à 3 minutes à pied par un petit chemin de la plus jolie plage de Tangalle (préservée et propre).

Lovely stay staff were fantastic lovely pool to cool off and very happy with our stay .

Situated by two beautiful beaches. Quiet and pretty location. Lovely terrace to sit on and forget the world. Huge bathroom .

Quite dark in the room and bed took up most of the room . But got used to that quickly as there was a dressing area and huge bathroom and the terrace gave plenty of space too.

Hôtel très bien situé à proximité de la superbe plage de Goyambokka. Chambre confortable. Bons petits déjeuners et repas. Service de qualité, personnel efficace. Il y a une piscine mais bon, comme il y a la plage.

Great Value for Money!

Goyambokka Guesthouse has very comfortable location, right by the beach! Need to definitely comment how helpful and nice the staff is. They are definitely the highlight of the stay. The property looks very good and modern. In the evenings, they light up the yard and it’s nice to sit there and relax.

Our room was rather small and poorly lit. I would have liked to get more natural light in the room.

Séjour dans un cadre idyllique

La guesthouse est très bien située, à seulement quelques pas de la magnifique plage de Goyambokka. La piscine est à très bonne température, propre et très agréable. On peut manger sur place matin midi et soir.

Nous avons été déçus que le petit-déjeuner à emporter que nous avions convenu pour notre départ tôt (5 heure) n’ait pas été préparé… si cela posait problème, le responsable aurait dû nous le dire et nous nous serions débrouillé en achetant de quoi manger la veille.

Понравилось почти всё - номер на втором этаже с большим балконом, душ под открытым небом, ооочень вкусная еда в ресторане - обедали и ужинали только здесь, до пляжа пешком 1-2 минуты, приятный персонал 🫶

отсутствие шампуней и гелей, но мы и не просили, пользовались своими.

Personnel souvent absent, limite désagréable. Hygiène douteuse. Nettoyage des chambres très approximatif. Restaurant moyen.

Great place!

Good rooms good good and very close to the beach

Nothing bad maybe the poil needs to be a bit fixed ABOUT VEACH NOT HOTEL - Please note when staying here there is a restaurant bar called Phoenix close by on the beach. Dont go there drunk and violent staff.

Great proximity to beach. Nicely landscaped property with lovely pool and friendly staff.

Excellent location-beach is a few meters away. Lovely pool and pool area. Staff is very attentive. Beautiful grounds surrounded by nature.

Deluxe room on the small side. Dark interior and if you open the curtains for light, no privacy. Also, door key is attached to card that has to be kept in slot to provide power. When inside, to lock the door, you have to remove the key card thereby turning off the electricity. Or lock door and replace card, leaving yourself locked into a room with barred windows. Uncomfortable position in case of emergency. They need to provide a second key.

We really liked it!

The beautiful garden with the pool is great. The gyambokka beach is only 100-200 m away and the silent beach is also very close with a short walk. The room was really nice. The bathroom has the typical standard (you flood the floor during a shower) - but we stayed in the "older" building perhaps it is different in the newer ones. We really liked it there and extended our stay. We hope we come back! We also had dinner twice and it was always delicous.

It is a nice smaller resort near 2 beautiful beaches. They provide a nice breakfast and a dinner and lunch menu that was very reasonably priced and the food delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Relaxing, delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful gardens.

The staff at Goyambokka Guesthouse are very friendly. I had the western breakfast which I enjoyed. I had dinner at the restaurant every night and I loved eating the delicious curries that the chef cooked!! The rooms were clean and staff attentive. The gardens are beautiful and there are lots of birds to spot, the pool is lovely to relax by and it is a very short walk to the beach. Goyambokka beach is peaceful with not many tourists. a perfect place to relax!

Superb

We arrived a bit fraught but were quickly settled in and sat on the verandah drinking tea from a pot and looking over the front garden. The nearest beach was a five minute walk and is one of the most gorgeous beaches I have seen - a horseshoe cove with white sand and palm trees and a few beach bars/ restaurants selling fish caught by the fishermen in the next cove.

the window to the bathroom did not fully close so we didn't turn the light on at night to avoid attracting insects.

Basic room in a great location

I was disappointed when we first arrived having read the reviews. we booked deluxe room and this was VERY basic! the balcony is two chairs outside the room entrance. however the location is great only a short walk to a beautiful beach. the breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

the bathroom was terrible. if you had the shower on full it flooded the whole room.

Amazing location with a nice room and great breakfast

The location between goyambokka beach and silent beach was outstanding (the two best beaches in my opinion). Really short walk to both. And if you want to visit Hiriketiya, its only 20min by bus. The staff was very nice, had some nice conversations and it was no problem to extend our stay from 3 to 4 nights. The terrace with our room was very big and comfortable to sit and read a book. Outside shower was a nice touch. The pool was very cozy and the breakfast was very good: choice for how you want your eggs, lots of fruit and enough toast. They also have a good italian espresso (not incl in breakfast)

A little bit more space in the room around the bed would have been nice, but its not a big issue.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed the guesthouse. It's very clean, a nice garden and a nice swimming pool. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is really great with affordable prices! A nice beach is at 100m. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who want to spend a few days at the beach, visit the tangalle area or enjoy the swimming pool.

Fantastically warm & welcoming staff

We arrived at a time of crisis in Sri Lanka hence everything in the area was closed & we were the only guests but the wonderful food & staff ensured we still had a lovely stay. We look forward to returning

Wonderful guesthouse few steps from the beach

Great place to stay in Goyambokka area. The room was clean and the beds are comfy as well. The staff were super nice and friendly. At the guesthouse they have their own restaurant and the cook knows what he’s doing:) food was delicious! The access to the beach is just the best - only few steps away from the nice little bay. We would definitely come back if we had a chance.

Lovely beach and guesthouse

Lovely guesthouse near Goyambokka beach. The guesthouse is a short drive (or a 3.5 walk along a road) into Tangalle but it is 500 m from one of the nicest beaches I went to. The staff were really friendly and helpful, food was nice and the grounds were beautiful. There is not a lot in the area, so I ate at the guesthouse but the food was lovely so that was not an issue for me. It is only a short journey into town and there were Tuk Tuks waiting to take you into town. I would definitely stay here again

Amazing accommodation, spacious with a large terrace. Beautiful garden with a small pool. Pleasant and helpful staff, good breakfast. The restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. 3 minutes from one of the best beaches. The next Silent Beach is about a 10-minute walk away. Very good value for your money - I highly recommend.
