About this house rental
With its 1920s charm intact, my renovated 4 bedroom/5 bed/3.5 bath home is located in trendy East Nashville. It's perfect for families with kids and has luxury for grown-ups too. You're within walking distance of local dining, a supermarket, a pharmacy, an easy 10-minute drive to downtown and a 15-minute drive to the airport.
THE SPACE: My 2,717 square-foot home is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. It has original hardwood floors and custom-made decorative elements featured throughout, offering a perfect blend of antiques, farmhouse décor and modern amenities.
OUTSIDE: The backyard deck features a gas grill, picnic table and plenty of bench seating. The covered, colorfully lit “barzebo” offers patio furniture where you can relax and enjoy nature. The fully-fenced backyard provides plenty of room for the kids to romp.
THE KITCHEN: The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen features cathedral ceilings and a huge picture window with views of the back yard. The appliances include an Allavino wine fridge, gas range, oven, microwave and all kinds of kitchen utensils, dishes, silverware, cups and glasses.
DINING ROOM: You’ll be able to enjoy meals around the farmhouse dining table, under the unique barn wood chandelier.
THE BEDROOMS: There are four bedrooms. Three are master-size bedrooms with king-sized beds, one bedroom has a queen-size bed. The den has a queen-size daybed.
3 FULL BATHS, 1 HALF BATH: There's a huge bathroom in the first floor master bedroom with soaking tub, dual vanity and separate shower. There are 2 full baths on the second floor near the other three bedrooms. A convenient half-bath is located adjacent to the back door.
TVs & SOUND SYSTEM: There are 5 TVs, all Roku-enabled, with Netflix, HBO, Showtime and Amazon Prime. You can play your favorite music on 5 JBL Bluetooth-enabled speakers.
KID'S PLAYROOM: Kids love the cozy playroom. It's like their own special hide-out and is filled with children’s books, a TV, games, and toys.
PARKING: There is free off-street parking in the driveway for up to 4 cars.
WHY HERE? You’ll be close to everything and just far enough away from the urban core to have peace when you want it. It’s the perfect mix of old Nashville meets new -- an authentic Nashville experience.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests have exclusive access to the entire home with the exception of the basement, the housekeeper's closet and a closet on the second floor.

The house was exactly as advertised but the small touches pushed this listing into the Fantastic Zone. Soft beds, big fluffy towels, all the small extras you don't think about in the kitchen were there waiting for you. The backyard Bar-Zibo had games and chairs that kept everyone entertained. Absolutely loved this house.

This property is a MUST if you are visiting Nashville. Walking distance to grocery store made for ease in that area. Beautifully furnishedfor both comfort and style. The host was phenomenal! Took all the guess work out of our visit. The outside yard and barzebo were such fun. Great addition to the space. We absolutely LOVED our stay. Oh and our granddaughters had a blast in the play room. Fantastic property!

A group of friends stayed for the CMA fest. Everything about the home was amazing. My friends were actually making fun of me because the decor in the home is so me. Everything was clean, spacious with everything we needed on hand. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space but maybe next time. Quick Uber to downtown and we felt very safe in the neighborhood walking to the grocery store and liquor store. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Even the bathroom had extras in case we forgot anything. We all had a great time and I would love to come back with my grandchildren to enjoy the adorable playroom. 5 Star!! Great host, easy to communicate with.

This large, well-built and tastefully decorated home is perfect! The kitchen is well stocked (and adequate prep areas). The bedrooms are large with upgraded, comfy beds! The owner has all the little touches throughout the house, even spray & distilled water to iron with (for the few that iron). Big back yard w/ "barzebo" & deck w/6-8 person picnic table. Very private yard and rockers on the front porch. Spacious and relaxing. We VBRO a lot and this was our FAVORITE home and host.

We were here for our daughter’s wedding. Wanted to be close to her house, which is in East Nashville. Three couples and one 11 month old stayed in the house. It couldn’t have been more comfortable. Lovely quiet street and a very spacious house, with everything we could possibly need, including baby gear. We had a wonderful stay.

House has lots of extra special touches to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. It is a clean, charming older house, in a neighborhood that felt safe and was easy to access. I didn’t realize there were no TVs in the three upstairs rooms, which was kind of a bummer, but probably my own fault for not recognizing that in the description. The barzebo is very cool. Kitchen is well-stocked and there is plenty of room to spread out. Overall, it was a great stay! The house was a perfect home base for a quick Nashville birthday celebration weekend for a pretty boring group. Planning anything even slightly boisterous? I’d choose elsewhere…firm rules for parking, noise, and number of guests are swiftly and strictly enforced. Owner was engaged and quick to respond to early check-in request.

We had a group of 10 adults that came to Nashville to celebrate my 50th birthday! This property was perfect for our group! The host, Kim, was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond when one couple of our group needed to drop their luggage before our check-in time. We appreciated the fact that we could all gather at the dining table each morning for breakfast as well as in the evening to play cards! When we come back to Nashville, and we will be back, we will be staying here!

Great location and neighborhood. About a 15 min Uber ride to lower broadway. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a quiet comfortable home with every amenity available. 5 stars!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kim's home — the house is beautiful and outfitted with everything you could possibly need and more. Kim was so helpful before and during our stay, even supplying a pack-and-play, high chair, and kids' plates and cups for us to use during our trip. The playroom was an added bonus and a favorite with all three kids!

We were a group of 4 couples (siblings and spouses) from Canada and we had the best time in Nashville ... Tennessee actually. We took in a lot of sites in 7 days. This home was everything and more. Has everything you can imagine. Show up and unpack and you're all set. There were so many extra touches that were most appreciated. Will be back for sure.

This charming bungalow was the perfect place for my wife and I and two other couples to stay while in Nashville. The house was clean and well taken care of. It was outfitted with everything that you need plus nice little amenities like charging cords and toiletries that you might have forgotten. The only downside at all is that the house is a 20 min drive to Broadway and Downtown. But it also gets you away from the chaos! I would highly recommend the beautiful bungalow in Nashville!

Luxuriously appointed home inside, and out! Felt so comfortable, and extremely well furnished with all the essentials like home! Met Kim before we checked in. We were given an earlier check in which we were so appreciative of. Kim was there working I’m the yard to provide a picturesque landscape for us to enjoy! Not only did she honor a early check in, but was able to extend our check out by an hour. I seriously could go on as to how amazing her place is, but the pictures truly say it all! Certainly had particular thought to every detail.

Home had everything we needed. The additional items such as napkins, ziploc bags, first aid kit and more made our stay less frequent to grocery store.
Communication was great. Space perfect.

This was my first VRBO experience and I was a tad nervous given negative things I had read in general. We traveled to Nashville for a family wedding with 4 adult children and elderly parents in tow. All I can say if that my bar is now very high!
What I LOVED about this home:
- this character home is exactly as illustrated plus more. It's the little touches that made it exceptional (personal hooks in every bedroom, a basket of umbrellas by the front door), a kitchen to die for.
- the fluffy thick towels, crisp bedding and comfortable beds.
- my elderly parents with mobility restrictions were very comfortable in the master bedroom on the first floor.
What I LIKED about this home:
- easy commute to everywhere that we had to go.
- super responsive owner with great suggestions and efforts to return forgotten items left behind!
- FANTASTIC backyard "barzebo" that you didn't want to leave, however there is a neighbor that is very sensitive to noise levels in the evening.
What I would SUGGEST for the home:
- more upstairs bathroom storage. A bit of a challenge to find room for 6 toothbrushes. Maybe an extra shelf?
- a set of nesting tables in the front room. With 8 of us, a bit of a challenge to rest glasses and plates.

Nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown and all of the sites. Plenty of space in each of the 5 bedrooms with super comfortable beds. A large, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. Everything was so beautifully decorated.
Our favorite was the outside “barzebo” sitting area that can easily accommodate 6-8 people.

The property was beautiful, well equipped and perfectly maintained. The location was perfect for us. Easy to get downtown if that's what you want and close to some really great restaurants and bars in the eclectic East Nashville area. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood. The kid's area shown in the photos was pretty amazing if you are vacationing with young children. The yard was super nice, especially the private backyard with the Barzebo. Kim was easy to communicate with and always quick with a response. As nice as the pictures look, it was better than expected when we arrived. I would highly recommend.

Don’t let the fact that the location is outside of the downtown area dissaude you…you get so much more and it was very easy and cost effective to Uber wherever we needed to go.

The property was even better than expected. 15 minutes to downtown during peak traffic times. Close to the grand ole Opry. Several restaurants within 1/2 mile. Beautiful home!

The house was a perfect layout for our four adult couples. There was plenty of room and all the touches to make it seem like home. Kim was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. We look forward to coming back again and will definitely look at returning to this home.
