About this house rental

To heat the pool, there is an additional expense which you must pay. Heating the pool in the spring, fall and winter can be expensive so rather than pass those costs on to all renters, we pass the cost to those willing to pay for it.

The cost is $25 per day during the entire booking during the months of March, April, Sept to December. It is $50 per day during the months of January to February.

March and first half of April plus June and July are Sat to Sat only bookings.

Service Pets are allowed with an additional fee of $100 per booking. The pet must be a certified service dog for disabled people. The fee is for extra cleaning. I have a disabled daughter who is very allergic to dog dander so we have to special clean after each pet visit.

After booking but before your stay, contact the me if you wish to have the heater turned on during your stay. The Temperature will be set at 80 degrees during your stay provided you pay the fee required by Paypal or Venmo. If you wish to pay another way, please plan well in advance as it takes time to receives checks in the mail.

***You must be at least 21 years old to rent the The Coconut Grove Beach House. We do not rent to agencies.*** You must book Sat to Sat during spring break and the summer.

The Coconut Grove Beach House is only steps away from sugar white sands and gorgeous emerald green waters. A 2 min walk through a quiet street and you are on to the beach!The Coconut Grove Beach House is within minutes of the finest restaurants, dancing, boat charters and jet skiing.

Our home has four spacious bedrooms, three and a half large bathrooms, and a private pool. The bedrooms are located on the first two floors. There is also a spectacular third story loft with a wet bar, 42 inch flat panel HDTV, love seat seating a panoramic 450 sq. ft sun deck complete with outdoor dining table. The furnishings are designed with the finest of Florida luxury in mind and will sleep up to 14 people comfortably.

Each bedroom has its own private bath, and premium mattresses and linens for a RELAXING stay. This home will comfortable sleep 4 couples and 6 singles. There are 4 flat panel HDTVs throughout the house with Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime available. There are granite counter tops throughout the home, stainless steel appliances, and hardwood floors. This spacious home features 10-14' ceilings. Wireless Internet is included with the rental fee.

We work very hard to make sure that your stay is the best experience that you can have year after year. 50% of our rentals are now repeat customers because they know that our home will be well maintained and clean when they show up. Our cleaners have specific instructions to make sure that all kitchen and bathroom surfaces are sanitary not just looking clean. We use Clorox cleaner on all bathroom and kitchen surfaces. Pine sole for tile floors. Almond Oil for hardwood surfaces and Windex for glass and mirrors. Our customers come back because they can count on us.

Just footsteps to the famous powder white sand beaches. The Coconut Grove Beach House is located on the south side of Thomas Dr., no busy streets to cross to get to the beach! Safe for families walking to and from the beach and just a few yards to St. Andrews State Park, a quarter of a mile to the marina, and Capt. Anderson's Restaurant, Schooners, Treasure Ship, Pirate Ship (for kids) and many other attractions: FUN for the whole family! We are happy to share our home!

Even enjoy grilling out overlooking the private pool!!

This property does have outside surveillance cameras for your safety! We do save the video for 29 days in case there is a problem.

Just a block from beach access. Beaches were not crowded. Lively bars in the neighborhood can be distracting at night on the weekends. Pool deck has numerous loose bricks which aren't safe. Kitchen was semi equipped with essentials. No cleaning supplies provided other than dish soap. Owner did respond to our issues quickly. Overall we enjoyed our stay but we will not stay here next year.

Our family vacationed at this house in July 2023 and had a great time. It was clean. Super comfy beds. The loft area was perfect for our teen boys. Loved the top deck, but would love to have more furniture up there. There was seating for 4 people only. Easy to walk to get pizza, ice cream, or down to Patches for food, drinks and live music. We loved that! Quick walk to the beach. Pool wasn’t huge but it worked fine. The owner was quick to respond. Overall we had a wonderful week!

This beach home was absolutely perfect for my family. Short walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants near by. We also cooked several meals and had everything that we needed. Definitely recommend for families that want to stay on a quieter end of Panama.

Great place to stay, plenty of room for my group of 12 and the house is in a great location. Only complaint was that when we arrived the majority of the towels were still dirty and wet hanging out of the dryer. It wasn't a big deal and we had a great time.

There was two occasions where the owner thought that I was scheduled for a different day and the last time was the day I was checking in. That really wasn’t a problem, but the billing is. The nightly fee is great!!! But the service fees were not.. I’ll take the blame for not paying attention to the details. However, we were charged for a pool we didn’t use (I was asked if I wanted the heat on in the pool and said no). I can see that VRBO gets you with the nightly price and then slaps service fees.. just make sure you read beyond the nightly price. I did feel like I was always being watched too.. Other than that!!! The place was very nice!!

We really enjoyed our stay the house was what it stated and was kept nicely. There were a few things needing repaired but nothing that interrupted our visit. The pool guy came and cleaned the pool while we were there which was nice because there was a small amount of sand in the pool before we got there. The appliances all worked and we really enjoyed this property will definitely try to book with them again. This was our family vacay so we had 8 adults and a 2 year old. The only down part was the stairs lol but it was just good exercise.

This is a great property for a family stay at the beach. Well maintained and the location can’t be beat. The little plunge pool was perfect. There were a few quirky things with the temperature, but I think it was related to one side of the house heating up all day and the other not having as much exposure to the sun. It would have been nice to be able to lower the temperature in the house lower than 72 degrees. That and the fact there was no cable were our only complaints. Overall nice stay and would stay again.

We loved this property! Super convenient location, short walking distance to the beach and the shops close by. Everything we needed was within a 5mile radius. We enjoyed ice cream every night as is our family vacation tradition and we were able to walk as family there as well. Dee was great with everything. Super pleased with the set up of the home and the amenities available. The pool was perfect for our littles when they tired of the beach. Great top deck to enjoy the evening sunsets and chatting/laughing together with each other. We will book again!

Nice enough house, a bit outdated, cleaning leaves much to be desired. Trash on balcony, around pool, moldy shower curtains. Not even sample size products for required tasks…check-in directions asked us to do a load of towels as we left, but no laundry soap. Or dish soap. Or paper towels. Or napkins. Or dishwasher liquid. Or garbage bags. Or beach towels. Loft comforters smelled like urine. For a small investment ($25 at Publix) for basic cleaning amenities, this would have been a much better review. Close to the beach and food/activities, but be prepared for the bare minimum at the house.

Overall nice place. More commercial neighborhood than I expected, but not bad. Fantastically close to State Park and clean public beach. The kids loved the pool. Parking was a bit of an issue. We managed to squeeze in three SUVs, but it was very tight. I did not see anywhere that street parking was an alternate option.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a perfect location on the quieter side of Panama City Beach. Even though it was Spring Break, you couldn't tell it. The beach is very convenient and it's a short walk to Schooners. The house had plenty of room for our family and the grandparents. Would certainly recommend.

Some friends and I booked this as a last minute getaway and enjoyed our time away together. The house is located on the quieter side of town, which we enjoyed and was so close to the beautiful beach. The house is nice and has most anything you will need.

The owner was easy to work with, very friendly and personable. The house is very nice, large, updated. Gulf view from top deck. Short walk to the beach (3 min). Layout of house gives lots of privacy for each bedroom/bathroom. Top floor great for kids with 4 bunkbeds. Very close to some shopping and a fun little restaurant right down the street. Beach is very nice. Great time with our kids and grandkids.
