Breakfast was quite plenty. From ham and eggs, to sandwiches, fruits, different kind of jams, pancakes, followed by home made fresh coffee and milk. The landlady will try to accomodate guest's wishes - from time when to serve breakfast to what would they prefer. She is kind and I highly recommend this guest house.

Everything was perfect. Velinka is very kind, patient and friendly. The breakfast was so delicious, the coffee was first classed and those pancakes like a piece of heaven 😊 Our room was comfortable and big and the view was fantastic. Velinka explained in detail how we walk through the Plitvice Lakes trip and gave a little honeymoon present for us too. 😍 We can't wait come back this place with friends or family. 😊

Walking distance from the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Very friendly and caring hosts, who gave excellent tips for planning our time at the park and in generally in Croatia. Very comfortable beds (not too soft, best sleep in a while). We ended up changing our travel plans to stay longer, but unfortunately they were fully booked.

The kindness of Velinka, her good advice to visit Plitvice park ! The localisation (20min by foot to the park). The breakfast... List is long

our Host was so nice, she was very welcoming, gave the advice what we needed not less or more, she even gave us some home made rakija and pancakes. the location is also great and it was such a big room for ourselves and we had everything we could wish for. I highly recommend this guest house, we have such nice memories about our stay.

We like the place very much as well as Verlinka (house owner) and her daughter. The room is large enough with a terrace for your activities. It is super comfortable and clean. The AC is functional. Verlinka prepared awesome breakfast for us and we even brought leftover to the lakes visit later.

The host was kind, helpfull, welcomed us with a spirit and the morning we were leaving early, she prepared the pancakes.

This Guest House is by far the best we have ever been too. The Host made us feel very welcome and she gave us good information about the national park and which route we should take to get the best out of the experience. The entrance to the national park was also very close, so you could either walk or go 5mins by car. The room was very clean and the towels were changed every day even though we only stayed for 2 nights. If you have the chance to stay here, you should definitly do so. Thank you for the great experience and hospitality.

Very comfortable room, lot of space, nice equipment. Lot of towels in bathroom. Some equipment little older but still nice. Big terrace. Very kind owner, she provide us with lot of usefull information and prepared us good breakfast even with a snack for later.

Everything. It is very quiet around that’s important. not so far from Plitvice lakes and above all there is Fleinka <3 She will take care of who ever stays here. Having stayed away from family for a year finally there was some home feel when we stayed here. I would just come stay here again and again. Just come for Fleinka she will make it extra special.

Great location and amazing host! We arrived quite late (after 10pm) and Valinka was very understanding. She provided a great way to explore Plitvice. We were set to leave around 6.45am and she gave us pancakes to go for our breakfast! The room itself was great, it had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. Lovely stay, lovely host.

The location is just 2 minutes drive to entrance number 2 of Plitvice lake. We prefer driving as we have a year old and a 6 yo with us. We wanted to save our energy inside the lakes 😄. Valinka gave us very good information on how to avoid the crowd and which route to take that is bearable for our 6yo on a 27 degrees weather. Our daughter never complained on the walk of almost 9km as she was always distracted by sceneries suggested by the host. She also immediately offered us something to drink for free the moment we arrived. Very friendly and accomodating host. She also gave us information on where to dine in in Bosnia, which we find special given that the border is just 7km away. The house also is not hot in summer as it has very thick walls. Although of course there is a/c available if need be. Breakfast is offered at an extra cost. She prepared alot for breakfast everyday that we think the host did it on purpose so we can pack some for our hike. Very thoughtful of her. Dinner suggestion was also very good, a pizzeria nearby which offered super yummy Pizzas and Cevapcici!!

The rooms were very clean and tidy with a little terrace. Velinka was an exceptionally great host and put her heart and soul into managing the place, she genuinely cared about each and every guest. breakfast was excellent. location was fairly close by walk to the lakes entrance 2.

Everything was perfect. Very clean and comfortable room. The lady of the house Velinka is so caring and loves what she does. We ordered the breakfast and it was excellent. Even allowed us to pack a lunch to take for our day at the national park of Plitvice. Location is very close to the park (entrance 2) 5 min by car. Overal it was implacable!

We can only say good things about the stay at Sixteen Lakes guest house. The host, Velinka, was very kind and generous. She is a super host and speaks perfectly English, Italian and German. She gave us directions for the park and for the bus and cooked delicious breakfast for us each morning. We would definitely recommend staying here and would come back anytime.

Perfect stay to explore the Lakes. The owner is a very nice lady who gave us helpful tips for exploring the lakes and for dinner. The rooms are quiet and very clean. Although we did not order breakfest, the owner made us free coffee and a small pan cake. The breakfest served for the other guests looked really good. I can highly recommend this place and would definetly go there again!

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Plitvice. Velinka is the kindest, sweetest woman on earth! She really made my stay as a solo traveler feel really special. She also can give you amazing insider tips on where/how to visit the lakes (I came with ZERO plan and now feel like an expert). The breakfast is the worth the small fee and way exceeded my expectations.
