About this house rental
An open floor plan connects the fully-equipped kitchen and breakfast bar with the dining and living areas. A wall of windows and sliding glass door open to a backyard garden and patio, providing natural light inside and a charming garden view. A separate, locked entry guarantees privacy.
The kitchen offers a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and many cooking and dining supplies. A light and airy living room for relaxing solo or with family not friends, cable TV viewing, or snuggling with a good book in front of the natural gas fireplace. Guests are able to control temperature settings for air-conditioning and heat with a wall-mounted register. A king bed with a Tempurpedic mattress topper and down comforter in the first bedroom promote a good night’s rest. Equally comfortable is the high quality king bed and down comforter in the second bedroom. Lovely linens, down comforters, and choice of pillows (down, Tempupedic, and traditional). The brightly lit, immaculate bathroom has a bathtub with shower.
You’re invited to the backyard and garden, (including its seasonal berries), where you may dine and relax on the patio, complete with barbecue grill, table, and chairs.
My home is located in a well-maintained, quiet, and friendly residential neighborhood in northwest Corvallis a little over a mile from the OSU campus. A city bus stop is one block away. Ample on-street parking is available. There are many bike paths throughout the area, as well.
This is a wonderful property with room to spread out as a solo traveler or as a family or group. It doesn't feel cramped and has lots of room for everyone to do activities together or on their own. There is lots of light and a patio and garden area available for dining and relaxing. We truly want our guests to enjoy their stay.
We hope to make guests feel the comforts of home, away from home. We try to design and keep it as we would like a rental to be when we travel and are in our guests' shoes. We pay attention to detail in all aspects of the unit, such as complimentary organic coffee, quality beds and bedding, and ensuring everything is exceptionally clean. We use natural, non-toxic cleaning products and laundry detergents and a Miele vacuum with a HEPA filter.
The upper floor is owner occupied with a separate street entrance. There is an elderly dog on the upper floor. The host is available to provide hiking, biking, dining, and park suggestions. Please feel free to communicate your needs by phone, e-mail, or text.
There is a strict no smoking and no chewing tobacco or vaping policy that applies both inside and outside on the property. No pets, please. There is a shoe rack provided at the entrance for guests to remove shoes prior to coming indoors, as there are no shoes allowed inside. Thank you in advance!

We loved this place and the owners were so friendly and accommodating. It had easy access to the University and was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Walking trails are close by. The backyard was such an Oregon experience with all kinds of trees, flowers and more with tables and umbrellas. We will be back. Great experience!

We were in town for family weekend at OSU. The bottom part of the house (and back garden) was perfect for our group. Even better was Betts, owner of the house. Thank you for all you did! The kitchen is well stocked and beds are very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

This was a perfect place to rent for OSU parents weekend! We had plenty of room to stretch out, and had everything we needed, and communication with property owners was great. We were even welcomed with some snacks and a lovely bottle of wine on the counter! The apartment was very clean and cozy.

Corvallis’ Finest
Better than listing description and photos show. Super comfortable beds and bedding, fully stocked kitchen with lovely welcome treats, lots of privacy in the beautiful backyard garden. Every detail was thought of including fresh flowers, hiking maps, umbrellas and loads of books! In addition, Betts and Sabrina were extremely responsive by text prior to and during our stay.

Beautiful, spacious, well appointed space with a phenomenal garden. Betts and Sabrina are efficient, accommodating communicators. They provided many extras that made our stay very memorable. Ideal space for out of town families who want to spend time with their student in a peaceful, comfortable, natural space.

Hostess was friendly, easy to communicate with and had lots of great suggestions for places to visit and eat. Property was the perfect size for 2 couples and has a nice backyard and garden. It was the perfect place to use as a base for all our day trips.

Relaxing Getaway
The home hosted by Sabrina online, and Betts on site is spacious and relaxing. They have included many small touches throughout. The overall feel is like visiting someone's home, who has thoughtfully provided a place to settle into, away from home.
We enjoyed sitting inside, at the dining room table, or in the living room, and gazing out at the lovely private garden in back. I enjoyed the excellent coffee and half and half provided, and tasty snack. The kitchen was very well stocked, for cooking or whatever. Many books and DVD's are on the shelves, a wide variety. I actually used the second bedroom, with it's large book filled bookcase, and gentle, diffused lighting. In the second day, my daughter came to visit and for lunch. Betts was gardening when she arrived. She graciously cleaned off the patio table fresh, and added a colorful tablecloth. We enjoyed sitting out and visiting next to the garden when we returned from lunch out. A relaxing place for a getaway.

Quiet oasis!
This was our second time staying here while our son competed in a three-day swim meet at the Osborn Aquatic Center a mile away. It is the perfect spot to get away from the crowds between sessions. The apartment was lighted and heated when we arrived on Thursday evening, with snacks waiting. Everything we needed for a weekend stay!

Lovely!
We loved staying the weekend in Corvallis at this lovely home away from home. The owner thought of so many details. We had coffee, creamer, popcorn, and drinks all left for us to use. They had a fully functioning kitchen with everything you could need including a dishwasher.
And it was very clean and comfortable. The bedding felt cloud-like!
They had many DVDs and our family snuggled up and watched a movie we hadn’t seen, Meet the Parents.
I highly recommend this place and it was about a mile from campus so it was close but a nice quiet neighborhood.

Visit to OSU
We arrived at 1am but host greeted us and made us feel welcome. Accommodations were terrific. Betts , lives above the apartment and she is warm caring friendly helpful and more. She made suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We wanted some dessert after dinner and she went out and got us pie and cookies. Great location. Very comfortable beds. We highly recommend this place and people.

Cozy, convenient weekend spot
We were in Corvallis for a swim meet, and this apartment was conveniently located a mile away from the Osborn Aquatic Center. Even better, it had everything we needed to relax as a family of four between swim sessions.
When we arrived late on a cold February evening, the heater and lights were already on to welcome us. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the hostess left us a selection of tasty snacks and drinks! She provided detailed recommendations for places to eat in Corvallis. The selection of books is fantastic, something to appeal to all ages and reading interests. This will be at the top of our list if we need another weekend place to stay!

Cozy spot in Corvallis for Civil War.
We (Two couples, mid forties) were in town for the Oregon/Oregon State game,and stayed in this cozy, downstairs unit for two nights. The upstairs portion of the house is occupied by a sweet lady named Betts, and the property is managed by her daughter, Sabrina. Both were lovely to deal with. When we arrived, they greeted us and gave us a quick tour of the apartment. Two bedrooms, very clean with comfortable beds and linens, gas fireplace in the living room and well stocked kitchen. There was a nice assortment of snacks left for us(cookies, popcorn, fresh apples, pretzels, coffee beans, granola bars, chocolate) as well. They do request no shoes in the unit, which I can appreciate! The unit looks out to a nice covered patio area and back yard, but we didn't utilize due to the rain.
Prior to our arrival, I had asked Sabrina about restaurants in the area that might be open on Thanksgiving, and she compiled a list for us, which we greatly appreciated. If our travels bring us through Corvallis again, we would not hesitate to stay here!
