Starting April 29th and lasting until Ski Season starts in November there will be construction ongoing in the common courtyard where the hot tub is located as the complex is working on replacing the hot tubs. Work will be happening daily Monday – Saturday 7AM – 7PM. The community hot tubs in the complex will be closed in result, and there will likely be construction noises throughout the day which may be heard from inside the property. We will not be providing any compensation for the lack of hot tubs or the noises and burdens in the area caused by the construction, and have already priced the property accordingly with lower rates to account for the inconvenience. It is anticipated that this project will be completed prior to the 2024/2025 ski season. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this crucial work happens, and we look forward to the brand new hot tubs that will be available in the upcoming ski season!

We had a great time in Winter Park for spring break. The place was clean and walking distance to the Gondola. Winter Park Escapes helped with everything we needed. Winter Park offered great restaurnants and we got hit with a snow storm. It was perfect!

We rented a condo through Winter Park Escapes and had a great experience. The communications and logistics were all excellent. The check-in/out efficiency enabled us to enjoy more time on the mountain as a family.

This unit was clean and had a well stock kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals. It was convenient to the Winter Park base area and all it had to offer. That said, the beds and the living room furniture were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Renters should also be aware that this unit it is at the furthest point from the elevator...a long hike in ski boots.

Our stay was not as care free as I wished it had been. The refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it at night to sleep. The facility already knew about the problem, but did not fix it while we were there. The first evening we asked for some blankets and pillows, they arrived two days later. The beds are pretty firm, like sleeping on the floor. The beds also squeak everytime you move. These are all minor things, but combined make for a less than desirable experience. Great location, just across the street from the main lift. I honestly think the biggest problem is that there is no front desk or staff present in the building.

Location location location. Literally looking at WP ski village and ability to be on the gondola within a few minute walk is awesome. The condo complex is clean, hot tub large and the condo itself is well appointed.

The location of the condo is great. Kitchen was adequately appointed and towels and sheets were nice. The unit could use an upgrade in TVs (low resolution only cable, no access to Netflix etc). Also would be nice to have room darkening curtains in the bedrooms as the primary bedroom was quite bright at night.

Our family of 5 enjoyed this rental. It was very clean and the perfect size for a family of 5. The views of the mountainside and the resort from the room were incredible.
I was worried that it wasn't directly ski in / ski out on the mountainside. It wasn't an issue at all. It is a very short walk to the Gondola, and the Winter Park resort provides free use of a red wagon. We would put all our ski gear in and take it to the Gondola.
It was a great location to get into the village area for meals and drinks. We would stay here again.

We could not have been more pleased with this condo at Founders Point. The location is perfect. The condo is at the end of the hall. While others mentioned the long walk, we enjoyed the quiet that came with the location. Additionally, it was right next to the stairs which made it easy to access the parking. The condo itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Would certainly rent again when back at Winter Park!

Very Clean, Great Location!!
Everything about this property and our stay there was great. The unit was in great condition, it felt like a true home away from home. The views of the village and the resort were awesome and it was literally steps away from the village. The only minor challenge was accessing the parking garage on occasion. We would certainly put it on our list of places to stay again in the future!!

Great apartment thin walls
Great apartment that is close to lifts and village. Walls are super thin though so you literally here everything going on in the apartment next door. Also it’s very noisy on the street due to heavy machinery cleaning the road and parking lot every morning at about 5:30 am. Don’t expect to sleep in quiet. Otherwise the apartment was good and worked well for our family of 5.

Tue HOA & owners need to help one another by including a plumbing maintenance plan into their budget. Our two bath was beautiful but the guest bath tub drain did not work. The manager Daniel and his assistant Did everything they could to make our stay amazing and fun! Five of us used one bath tub and shower in the master bdrm .
We were all happy and never inconvenienced.
We encourage the unit owners to work with the management staff at founders because they have a beautiful resort . W

Great Views and Location — one of the best rentals we have had!
My family really loved this location — there are several nice hikes close by and it is just across the road from Trestle, restaurants, and the Gondola. The condo was clean and well kept. Kitchen is small but tidy, bathrooms are in VERY GOOD condition, with good quality towels. The rooms are comfortable. There is no AC but fans in the windows help a lot — especially at night.
The listing does leave out the fact that the huge hot tub is not in working condition and, I found from talking to another owner, it will not be for quite some time due to a leak they have not been able to repair for more than a year. There is another, smaller hot tub on the adjacent property, but you have go across the connected parking garage to get there. The other issue is the advertised “access” to the pool. It is not in walking distance and, though nice, it is not free. It is about a 5-10 minute drive into Fraser. You will get one adult pass per day, but there is a fee to enter otherwise. Due to Covid restrictions they only allow 50 people in the pool area at any time, so plan to arrive early.
I would 100% rent this property or a similar unit in the building again — the views and balcony make these corner units special.

Founders Pointe is a great location and condo #4474 is very comfortable. This is the second year we have rented this unit through Winter Park Escapes. They do a great job and are easy to work with.

Great location for family ski trip
Our family came for a few days of skiing and relaxing. This home was even closer then we expected to the slopes (including ski school) as well as to dining. Despite restaurants not being allowed to have dine-in customers currently, we were able to access several great restaurants for take-out in a quick five minute walk. Would definitely stay here again! This home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Very Nice and Comfortable
We very much enjoyed the unit. Spacious and comfortable. We would stay there again. The cleaning service could do a better job of vacuuming and general cleaning, but there was nothing gross. It's a long walk around to the elevator, but the view and room location is great once you get there. I would stay again.

The location was the best part of the stay being mere minutes from the Gondola Lift. Parking was very convenient and affordable in the heated parking garage. Sleeps plenty of people. 10/10 would stay again.

The condo looks just like the photos and was the perfect size for 3-4 people. The property management company uses an easy app to provide all of the check in details. Parking is an additional daily cost but it’s really convenient.
Despite it not being ski in/ski out I would recommend this condo and would stay here again.
