About this apartment rental
Located right in the heart of the Fingerlakes Wine Country - Our place in Watkins Glen NY is the perfect stepping off point for so many amazing journeys! The apartment is only a few minutes walk from Watkins Glen State Park a must see landscape! Saunter down the hill and you are right on among the many restaurants and shops in downtown. Hop in your car and drive only a few minutes to either side of Seneca Lake and go tasting at one of the areas signature wineries, breweries or distilleries.
This apartment has two bedrooms. Each room has a queen sized bed. In the living room we have a queen sized sofa bed. We also have a queen sized blow up air mattress. This apartment can comfortably sleep 6 in beds and 8 if you need to squeeze in a group!
We have thought of your every need and we would love to host you, your family and friends to our house. This space is the complete lower portion of an old Victorian house affectionately named The Vintage Raceway House because of its location overlooking the old road racetrack.

Our home is quite spacious with ample kitchen space and a large dining room. The living room is immense with enough seating for all your family and friends! We had a wonderful, long weekend stay in the Fingerlakes apartment. The place was quiet and clean. We enjoyed relaxing mornings on the front porch and quiet evenings sitting around the campfire. The apartment is in a great location and you could easily walk to downtown Watkins Glen if you wanted to. Caitlin communicated to us quickly when there was an emergency plumbing issue. She worked quickly to get plumbers to the property within a few hours. Would definitely stay again in the future!

This is a great property with everything you could need. It’s in a great location and very comfortable. The porch was great for morning coffee and evening games (until the mosquitoes came out). Would stay here again!

This is a beautiful, clean older house with lots of character. We have stayed in many vacation rentals but none as well-appointed as this one, Caitlin has truly thought of everything. Very close to downtown and lots of wineries.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners provide everything you need including shampoo and soaps. The place feels like home so warm and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. We met the owners and they are very nice and respond right away if you have any issues. The location is close to Watkins Glen and town. Beautiful views from the front porch. We would definitely stay again.

We absolutely love this place. We stayed here last year as well. The space is perfect and so well stocked with anything anyone might forget. The porch is great and so is the little pet area up top. We're big fans.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay visiting family for a celebration of life and reunion. Our second time returning to your place and we will return again. We especially enjoy the quiet morning enjoying a cup of coffee, sitting on the front porch that oversees Seneca Lake. Highly recommend! Everything you might forget to bring when traveling, they have thought of and provide!

My partner, his mother and I were all thrilled with this space. Exactly as described and then some! It had every amenity we could have needed from kitchen supplies and cleaning products to toiletries, backup kitchen supplies (I baked a cake while we were here) and more! It was also absolutely charming inside and the front porch was a great place to unwind after all the hiking we did in the area. Very close to downtown too! We will absolutely stay here again!

The property was tremendous, with regards to location, beauty, and comfort. The hosts were spectacular in communicating and taking care of us (e.g., after a snowy and icy night, the host promptly salted the (very steep) driveway to ensure we could tour the region that day). In addition, the property had almost every item you could possibly imagine or need--no need to pack almost anything but clothes and personal items :)

This is a lovely, older village house located on a hill above Main Street. House was spotless and well maintained, with a beautiful view from the comfortable porch. It was great to have such a well appointed bathroom and lots of kitchen staples, which always helps. The grounds were extremely well kept and clean. It was the perfect place for us to stay for our weekend at the race track. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for location was (and this was my own fault for not being more vigilant), for us, that we were unable to drive our truck with the trailer on it (it's a steep driveway and limited parking for large rigs like ours), and thus had to do a lot of shuffling around with getting our car unloaded, where to leave the loaded and hooked up trailer Sunday night, etc. But on the plus side, it was very entertaining to see people get up the various hills that were visible from the porch! It could be a little noisy at times, but didn't bother us at all. Overall, it was an excellent location for our needs. Kaitlyn does an excellent job with this property and we hope to stay there again next year - we'll just plan our vehicle issues a little better next time!

Great Apartment
We stayed in the bottom level apartment and really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and had a lot of of character and was stocked with shower and laundry essentials, which is a nice touch. It was on a busier road than we anticipated, which is not a complaint, just an observation. Great location that is located close to downtown Watkins Glen, the state park and Nascar track - all less than five minutes away and about a ten minute drive to all the vineyards on the other side of the lake.

The home is very comfortable, well appointed, centrally located, and the owner is always accommodating, and hospitable to us and our dogs. We’ve stayed here twice and we’ll be back.

Great house in a great location, home away from home!
The house was absolutely lovely! I would 100% stay here again without hesitation. The only thing I'd suggest is to wipe the inside of the fridge down in between each guest. Other than that 1 thing it was absolutely perfect. Truly felt like home away from home.

Very Nice!
Everything is provided! The place has a beautiful front porch with an excellent breeze. The streets are crazy steep but that only adds to the charm of the area. We walked down to the lake and sat at the pier to picnic. And Watkins Glen park is close by. My group of girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing weekend! Thanks again for everything Pam and Caitlin!

Perfect Accommodations for a few days in Watkins Glen
We had a great time with this property as your base in Watkins Glen. We were two couples staying two nights while our kids were at camp. The house is spacious, well-appointed, and many "extras" thrown in. Whenever we rent a house, I remind everyone "it's not a hotel - they won't have shampoo if you forget it..." But, they did! They had all the extras that a hotel would have if you forget something. Also, lots of area maps, guides, etc. We weren't at the house enough to enjoy it as much as I would have liked, but it was always comfortable to come home to.

The location was perfect. Walked into town often. We went expecting to have to bring lots of basics. It was well stocked with everything we needed-- to, p towels, soap, shampoo, etc. It was like visiting someone's home. We spent lots of time on the front porch watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Spacious, quiet, and convenient
We had a lovely stay at this spacious, gracious home. The rooms are large, welcoming, and comfortable. We were concerned about 2 couples sharing only one bathroom, but it is large and well appointed. The owner thoughtfully provided both full length and make-up mirrors in each bedroom. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the space allowing for privacy and quiet. We enjoyed our evenings on the spacious front porch and meals around the large dining room table. Downtown Watkins Glen is a short walk, but far enough away to keep street noise from disturbing sleep. This home truly provided a weekend sanctuary.
