Perfect relaxing and calm stay. I felt like I was in old good Bali, like a few decades ago. The room I stayed had everything I needed, including AC, unlike my expectation. Ha-ha. The cappuccino at Amrita Cafe was very good. Highly recommend!

The view from the king room is incredible. The pool is lovely and the gardens are nice. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the property’s dog is the cutest.
Kudek’s breakfast and organic freshly made lemongrass tea from their garden is muntap. ( delicious in Balinese).
I liked everything but a mini-bar in the king room would be awesome, and an iron would be good also.

Our stay at Amrita was a real succes. The view of mount Agung from our bedroom window and from the terrace, was stunning! On the other side of the building we enjoyed a wide view of green fields. The apartment / room was lovely and had everything we needed. Spacious with a comfortable bed and two terraces. A kettle, tea, a couch and a nice bathroom with warm water. The owners are lovely and helpful. They take such good care of their garden, their quiet cafe downstairs and the swimming pool. We really liked the small scale of their enterprise. Location is quiet. We rented one of their motorbikes and visited rice fields, waterfall and a few temples. We'd definitely go back if we were to visit Sidemen again!
We liked everything!

A very comfortable stay
No Mountain View from lower of the 2 villa’s. Area felt very closed in, considering we were on the edge of town

We stayed for 6 days with our 9 month old baby. The villa is perfect, loads of space for him to crawl safely, a nice little pool to take a dip and the most incredible views of mt. Agung from the cafe and pool (and balcony if you stay in the room above the cafe - we were in the villa below). The team looked after us so well and were fantastic with our young son. We also had a great treck in the ricefields with Nyoman - highly recommend. The villa is located next to many excellent restaurants, resorts and warungs all within easy walking distance. You can get a day pass to the nearby fancier resorts which is great if you want more of a swim. The road is quiet and calm which was great for getting out for short walks with our baby. We had such a relaxing time here after the hecticness of Ubud and could easily have stayed longer. Thank you!

The view, the place, and the environment were amazing. The stuff was all kind and friendly.
The place was great but the Geckos were sometimes a bit annoying

Superbe paysage.

I loved everything about my stay. From the coziness and cleanliness of the place, to the wonderful service and hospitality of the owners. There are lots of hotels around the area, but personally I do not think they do justice to Sidemen’s true charm.
If you wish for a more serene, quiet, authentic stay in Sidemen, look no further. Amrita villa is truly a hidden gem!
Special thanks to Nyoman and his wife for taking care of me and for treating me with such kindness!

We had the best time staying at Amrita! Nyoman and Kadek gave us a warm welcome with lovely flower tea and were both so lovely & accommodating. The room was to die for! Just so gorgeous & spacious with two balconies/terraces with fab views, air con, water fountain and a pool. Breakfast made by Kadek was lovely too - I’ve yet to come across a better fruit platter! Couldn’t recommend this place more 💖 Terima kasih 🙏🏻

The staff, the outdoor space. The cafe vibe, the complimentary walk in the rice fields was really nice.
Loved the pool and sundeck area
The noise, the room is literally on top of the road + there’s no shutters or black out curtains.
Prices for transportation are controlled locally and same price as big cities.

Amrita is located in a very cute and quiet village in Sidemen. You have a lot of nice restaurants nearby and the place itself is very clean and spacious. The host knows the area very well so you can ask him for a trekking through the ricefields (which we highly recommend) its great to see how they live and make the nature work for them. We loved our stay and would definetly book it again. Room is very spacious, clean, comfortable beds, goox airco and hot water for the shower.

Nice mountain view from the room located above the cafe! The room is big more more than expected, and very friendly staff. Must try original herbal tree at the cafe

The house is beautiful and comfortabel. Bed rooms are large, the bathroom is great.
We really liked the breakfast.
The Villa is situated in the village, nice restaurants, bars and nature are all close by. We recommend the rice field tour, arranged by the staff
The private swimming pool is situated between the bar and the house. So it is not in the backyard of the house, like we thought based on the pictures. Therefore there is a lack of privacy. Even people who pass by on the road, can see you in the pool,

The location was great, close to restaurants. The pool area is very nice. The staff were lovely.
The property was lovely but it was a little more expensive and not quite so new as other similar places nearby.

We really liked the privacy. The pool is small but nice. We really also liked the breakfast, that was very good. Also the staff working there is very nice and helpful.
The kitchen was not that clean and not well equipped. The sofa in the living room is not that comfi. We thought that the view from our terrace is nice but it was not. We had a fence in front of us, we did not like this.
For us is was not worth the money, even the staff is so nice and the breakfast was super.

Loved my stay! I booked the King Room. It’s on the first floor with a great view. You have a balcony on both sides. One is overlooking the ricefields and the other Mount Agung. Staff was just lovely. There is no airconditioning in this room but you don’t need one. Just open all the windows for a lovely breeze. At night it cools off. And if it is t enough there is a fab. Loved the free herbal tea made from flowers and also did the herbal tour. 2 hours of tracking through the fields and jungle. Make sure you wear long trousers/shirt or use mosquito repellent. The (rain) shower is just amazing! Enough pressure and you have your own boiler. Sheets and towels very clean. I brought my own mosquito net because I’m allergic to mosquitos. You are in nature so insects and gekko’s will visit. But none of them do any harm (mosquito excluded). Breakfast was ok. Eggs in any form with fruit or fresh fruitjuice. Make sure you visit the local market early in the morning. I went with Nyoman (staff) and had some great coffee, banana-snacks and got a lovely Balinese breakfast. The pool is small but very nice and clean. There is only one other villa so peacefull at all times. Sidemen and surroundings is just beautiful. I really loved my stay here. Down the street there are some good warungs in walking distance. Don’t go to the shop next door, they will rip you off. Better go in town. Staff will bring you if you don’t have your own transport. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Super friendly staff with great knowledge of the area. The villa is nicely located close to good restaurants with views of the rice fields.
A simple but tasty breakfast is served in the nice onsite cafe. For us (with young kids) the breakfast at 8.00 am was a bit late so we made sure to have some snacks in stock

I stayed in the apartment directly above the cafe. When you come up to the landing outside the barn door of the room, there's a small balcony with a table and two chairs. It faces the back of the villa where you can see Mt. Agung on a clear day. It also has a balcony in the front with a small table and two chairs facing the padi fields. There is no A/C in this place and at first I thought I made a mistake but honestly there's no need for it. If you open the doors to both balconies, you get a nice breeze through the room. There's also a sitting area with nice big wraparound windows and the bedroom in the back with more windows. Again, if you open the windows, you get a lot of cool breeze through. Well designed for cross ventilation. I was never hot in the room. The pool is shared with the villa at the back and has two lounge chairs and a swing facing it. It's surrounded by a garden. Very relaxing to sit and read or have a drink from the cafe. My booking came with breakfast and it was plenty for two persons. The room has a water dispenser, which was great as I didn't have to buy water or go down to the cafe to get refills. Also an electric kettle to make some tea or coffee. The WiFi in the room and cafe was very good. The shower has great pressure and lots of hot water. Very clean room. The gentleman and lady who work at this place are so genuinely kind and friendly and welcoming. I do not know how to ride a scooter so Nyoman, who is also a guide and the caregiver of the place (not the Nyoman who works at the cafe/villa) arranged for me to go on a full day tour of Besakih Temple, Lempuyang Temple, and Tirta Gangga. Sidemen is a very laid back village and a good getaway from the traffic and busyness of Ubud for a few days. There are a lot of places to eat around the villa but if you want some fancy drinks/dinner, check out Asri, which is in Samanvaya resort. Make sure to make a reservation as it's very popular.
Everything was perfect.

A great little villa with views of Mount Agung and rice terraces, spacious and airy.
Good facilities and a filling breakfast.
The host, Nyoman, was chatty and helpful.
Sideman became our new favourite place in Bali, beautiful without the crowds of Ubud.
Many super restaurants nearby, especially Warung Deva, which is almost opposite

Absolutely fantastic!!! The people who run this cafe and villa/ guest room are the loveliest people, so friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with an arrival drink and shown my room. The room was lovely, clean and spacious, with the most amazing view! Nyoman showed me the rice terraces and the waterfall the next day and it was such an amazing day! I wish I could have stayed longer, I will be back!!
I didn't stay long enough!

We stayed in the King room. This is more like an apartment than just a room as the whole upstairs above the cafe is your own private space. It has a sitting area with nice big windows great for people watching and the bedroom is at the back so it has privacy and views of Mount Agung. The pool is shared with one villa at the back but when we used it we had it all to ourselves. We also did the rice paddy walk with the property manager and would recommend this if you stay here. The cafe downstairs only serves drinks but there are plenty of really good restaurants within 5 minutes walk, our favourite meal was at Bukit Artha, less than 100m away.

Quaint and lovely Bali house great for anyone or family looking for a true Bali experience but still with all the comforts. The 2 bedroom Villa is fabulous for a family. Lots of nice restaurants very close by. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Massages in the Villa by Putu Dasi were best we have had in Indonesia.

Wonderful view on mount Agung, friendly staff, big room, great price. They have a water dispenser in the room which is more eco-friendly than the regular water bottles.
The room is basic but enough for a few nights. No AC but a ventilator, again enough for a short stay
