The home is in a great location, right downtown Harrison easy to walk to everything. Home was clean and great deck out back overlooking the lake. The weather was warm, but the home stayed cool One suggestion would be to get an AC unit, even just a small mini split considering the size of home. It had said was available when I booked, however I think it was removed before our stay. Outside of that, great place and would stay again. Thanks!

Location is everything.
Such a perfect spot on the lake, right near the dock. We've stayed here before and really are grateful to have found it.
It hadn't been cleaned too well when we arrived. Only took about 10 minutes to sweep down all the spider webs around the doorways and cupboards.
There were too many wasp nests on the front porch. Getting the code entered was scary while being dive-bombed by so many bees. Yikes!
But, location is everything. Such a great view.
It was about 100 degrees outside and there was no AC unit despite the fact one was listed on it's VRBO page.
There was one fan, but it's broken. We figured out how to jiggle it just the right way to make it work.
Had we been told, I could have brought my own fans and ice packs to keep the kids cool...
Two days in, we discovered a previous tenant or cleaning crew had turned on the baseboard heater of the family room. No wonder it was so hot! Too hot to sleep.
But location is everything. The kids loved swimming off the dock.
We've stayed here before, and will stay again. Hopefully the property description is updated so we can better prepare though.
Such a beautiful location.

If you’re looking for a quiet place on the lake, it’s perfect. Beautiful lake view from deck. Cute house. For us, we wanted to be closer to Coeur d’Alene and it’s 30 miles on winding road.

The cottage was perfect for our vacation. clean, neat, amenities, spacious, and GREAT Location to all ...water, beach, bike riding, hiking, the creamery and restaurants. Enjoyed having coffee or wine on the deck looking at the lake/mountains. Highly recommend!!!!

The accommodations were adequate and the location convenient. Being very close to the road, the road noise could be irritating at times. It is an older house that has been remodeled. The biggest issue was that when we first got there, we found that the front door lock code did not work. Nor did the key lock box code work. It took nearly 2 hours before we were able to gain access to the rental. The "local" representative was very helpful with this situation.

Just what we hoped for... quiet space with everything we needed. Except "cruel" joke: Our stay began the day after the seasonal closing at The Creamery right next door! We understand, of course, but still... Easy checkin, entry; appreciated all the coziness of the cottage. Lovely view of the lake from the deck. Thank you!

Cute home in a fantastic location. Great access to the trail of the Coeur D'Alenes and right next door to the ice cream shop. View from the deck is amazing and a food truck and restaurants next door. You can hear the music from Donny's Bottom- Ups bar next door but it ended by about 9 pm every night so it wasn't intrusive. House was very clean and has everything you need. Loved staying here and would come back!

This was a great stop on a multi-week trip. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the close proximity to the Coeur d’Alene trail and the Cycle Haus. The cottage was clean and comfortable. With only two of us, it was the perfect size to share the single bathroom. The third bed in the add-on is a little funky and we missed not having a dishwasher but Overall, a very pleasant stay!

This is an older home, but it's clean, remodeled inside, and was perfect for our small group. Access to the Trail of Coeur d'Alene is right behind the house.

We loved this home. It was clean, comfortable and centrally located in Harrison (the ice cream parlor and Hawaiian plates were right next door). The only thing that could improve our stay was a few water toys. We thought we could rent a kayak or SUP boards from the marina in the back yard, but they needed to be reserved days in advance. I having toys available would have been the cherry on top, but it was still a great trip. Thanks!

This rental has lovely biking routes and beach access. It’s also just a block away from a park with playground equipment. The views from the back porch are fantastic. We were there over the 4th of July holiday, so the town was very active. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Excellent place to stay. Has all the amenities and a view of the lake. Plus right next door to the The Creamery!

November at the cottage
Lovely small home that suited our needs but would think it is better suited for a summer visit. It was clean and cutely decorated. The town is interesting, friendly and quiet.
Old style lock boxes were difficult to open. Would suggest hangars in the closets would be nice.

Cool little place
This house was a great house to spend some relaxing time by the lake. Not far from the water and food and shopping was literally next door.

Fun location
The house is really easy walking distance to the public beach and the cycle haus (for renting bicycles). It's a funny house - there's no view of the lake from inside the house but a great view from the deck.

Perfect location
Great house. Very comfortable with plenty of room for us and all the kids. Even had one extra bed that was not listed. The bbq didn't work (wasn't out of propane) and I thought we were missing some bath towels but eventually found them in the dryer but overall the house was perfect for what our family wanted for the 4th of July weekend. The deck was wonderful to sit out at night after everything cools off. Everyone loved it and had a great time. Be sure to check out the ice cream shop and the little museum/jail across the street. Also, no need to pack tons of food, there's a grocery store with good prices maybe a 2 minute walk away. Comfy beds, lots of hot water and room to stretch out. Super fun.

Harrison Sunset Cottage
Just wrapped up our stay in Harrison at the Sunset Cottage. The house was very clean and the location in “downtown”Harrison was perfect for what we wanted. We spent most of our cottage time on the wonderful oversized deck overlooking the lake. It was a great way to start and end our days. Although we never had anything come up it was nice to know that the owner lives and works in the area. We will definitely be back to Harrison in the future and would gladly stay at the Sunset Cottage again.

Amazing Location
This house is amazing! Built in 1907 it offers historic charm in a great location. If you’re trying to watch your waistline, perhaps this isn’t the place for you because it’s next to the cutest ice cream and fudge shop😍. The view is phenomenal and you can be prepared to enjoy the wonderful view and outside from the large outdoor deck with new furniture. There’s also a coffee/beer/bike rental shop just a block or so from the house that you can utilize to cruise the paved trail below the rental house. A must stay!

Cozy Lake Cottage
This charming house sits above the lake, with beautiful views from the large deck. Barbecue works great. Location is close to great restaurants, boat and bike rentals, and a nice little beach park for fishing and swimming by the marina. Had an amazing time here, and owner was very kind to install AC units on the day the weather became unseasonably hot.

A great get away!
This place was amazing! Only 1 minute away from the bar and beach. We traveled to the city every other day to visit family, only an hour from Hayden and 25 minutes to saint Maries. The inside was very spacious. The only complaint was that the doors wouldn’t stay closed. The bathroom has locks on it, so that helped with privacy. The pipes may be a little old, so the water was bad to drink. Luckily we brought a Brita water filter and that did the trick. The house came fully equipped with dishes and cookware. Overall, this place was amazing and we really enjoyed staying there.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute and spacious home. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable and we especially loved the beautiful deck overlooking the lake.

Decent value
Enjoyed the location in charming town close to ice cream and marina. The house needs updating and much deeper cleaning inside and out with replacement + more linens. Might be better suited for 5-6 people.

Cute house in a fantastic little town
The house is very cute and well set up and I love the cute little town.
They put lake front in the description which is quite inaccurate. The house is lake view though and it’s a great view. Other than the lack of lake access the house was fantastic and we would stay there again as our only problems were with the management of the home not the set up.
Unfortunately the house wasn’t very clean, even with the longer time they are taking to clean due to Covid. I cleaned up cherry seeds off the floor when we arrived, had to clean some of the dishes before using them and had to wash all of the towels as every one had hair in them, among other things.
When there is something wrong it’s difficult to get a hold of the property manager and they don’t respond to text messages or emails as they suggest trying.

4 day stay in Harrison
We had an amazing stay in this cute little house. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was! One of the cleanest places I have stayed. It is an older home but it’s current condition is great. It is right next to the ice cream shop (we won’t say how many flavors we tried 😉) on the main road through Harrison. The back deck is the main feature! The majority of the time we were at the house we were on the deck. It has a very nice patio set and we made use of the gas grill for dinners. We had plenty of room to stow bikes and paddle boards. The Trail of the Coeur D’Alenes is right in front of the deck...but access is a half block away down by the marina. We were able to walk our paddle boards down to the marina and access the lake. It was a delightful weekend...4 adults and we fit just fine. We would stay here again. The people of Harrison were extremely friendly. Just a note...a lot of the windows don’t open because they are old. There is no air conditioning in the home. There was one big fan but we could’ve used more. I imagine the middle of summer and fall gets much hotter.

Beautiful, secluded, gloriously remote location
We love the deck overlooking the lake. The location is gloriously remote, and not crowded. Our kids enjoyed the beach and the docks. We had a really good time riding bikes at the scenic bike trail. We saw a cow and her calf, a pelican, turtles, and many more wildlife.

Great choice
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house looks to have been recently renovated and was wry clean. I was impressed with how clean the house when we arrived.
If your looking for a quite little house to spend some time, I would recommend this one!

Great spot
Despite the cold temperatures we absolutely enjoyed this home. Had everything we needed a great indoor area to store our bikes and a good location to ride the trails. The town was cute (very tiny) and far off the main highway but worth the scenic drive. Thanks for a great time (bring DVD player & movies) the antenna only gives3-4 channels

Wonderful family getaway
There ended up being a freak snowstorm in September, but we were still able to enjoy the sleepy town of Harrison, and the bike trail. The house was everything we needed. Kids and grandparents plus my husband and I all had enough space to play, relax and enjoy our family time. What a beautiful spot.
