Great location. Fantastic for young children and dogs especially. There were toys and books for children- we loved reading the books! Dogs bowls were also provided. It was good that there was a small supply of loo rolls, hand soap, washing liquid and dish washer tablets. These sort of touches were really helpful. The kitchen is well equipped. It's a child friendly house with a very lovely bath! It's huge!

Wow ! So much more than we expected. Spotlessly clean , fantastically equipped kitchen and a very welcome tray of tea, coffee , milk and sugar by the kettle meant we could have a hot drink without even unpacking the car ! Never before have we had tissues in every room or washing up liquid, teacloth, dishwasher pod and washing pod in the kitchen! Can’t wait to go back . A weekend was not enough!

We had a lovely holiday in a clean comfortable house right on the edge of the sea. November was not the best month to visit Minehead but the weather was unseasonably good and we were even able to take the babies on the beach, The cafe next to the the Ship Aground did us a take away breakfast Saturday and Sunday which was very reasonable and well cooked. The pub on the quay has an extensive menu and the food is very good, We can also recommend the fish and chip shop on the sea front. The dog also had a lovely time with lots of walks!
Just one negative. We had toddler twins and had to lug cot beds down from home so it would have been nice if a local place could have been recommended where we could have hired cot beds and high chairs. we did wonder whether Butlins would do this?

Lovely house in a perfect location. Dog friendly. We definitely hope to come back soon.

Just stayed at Seagulls Rest with my family. The house was really easy to find. Parking was great even though we had 2 cars with us. The 2nd permit was very useful. The house is in a great location, we loved being so close to the seafront. Everything was lovely and clean on arrival and there is plenty of room for everyone (there are 7 of us!) We would recommend the house to anyone and would return ourselves.
Thank You!

Walk through the front door with your cuppa and sit on the bench and look at the ever moving Bristol Channel. The Old Ship Aground a fine pub/restaurant whilst the town itself has all the amenities one would expect in a compact area.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a great location and the property was extremely comfortable with everything we needed.
