The situation was great. Isolated and peaceful. A lovely swimming pool with lounger set in the spacious surrounds. The whole property was very tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. The public areas were large and comfortable. The grounds were well cared for and most attractive.
Due to our late booking we opted for a TRIPLE room for two of us. We had anticipated that we were going to somewhere special judging by the photographs and the price we paid (of our two weeks stay in five different accommodations in Galicia, this was the most expensive). The room was very badly planned with a corridor space with no table or desk and one chair. On what might be described as a mezzanine there was a large bed and two small lockers - a small built in wardrobe under the stairs in the corridor below - that was it as far as storage was concerned. Where a bed would have fitted for a third person in this limited space was beyond us! Working in this space was awkward as we were constantly up and downstairs. There was nowhere to sit down comfortably - it could not be described as decent accommodation for the price we paid.
We didn't have much contact with the staff during our stay - we were met by a delightful young lady who booked us in. Unfortunately she could not speak English and we not Spanish - she phoned the owner and passed the phone to us - he was very pleasant and gave us some details about checking in and dowloaded further details which he sent by phone. Our balcony was the only place in our room where we could sit and have a glass of wine in the evening.

Surroundings and facilities in the hotel were exceptional. Unique design, fully integrated with the enviroment and in the midle of wildness. Rodrigo's care of the customer is also a difference maker. And, the house-yogurt, just superb.

Wonderful balance of rural and high standard hotel, absolutely beautiful place surrounded by nature. Perfect quiet location close to nice beaches, bars etc Amazing staff, helpful and flexible. We felt at home and like royalty at the same time. Yummy home made breakfast. There is plenty of space for kids to play within the estate, swimming pool, paddle court, soccer, trampoline…. And a covered area with a ping pong table
We loved everything

Place is beautiful with lovely sitting areas and touches throughout. Owners and workers are so friendly and helpful.
The mosquitoes were a killer at night so be sure to pack some repellant. When it is warm and you have to keep the windows open, be aware that there are no screens. We left with mosquito bites all over. We counted more than 30 bites on my son’s face/arms/legs.

This beautiful rural destination exceeded all our expectations. It is a perfectly re-built 16th century house and garden which is tastefully and with the utmost care maintained by Rodrigo and his team. Everybody was incredibly friendly and helpful (making reservations, giving tipps and band aids,...) and all facilities are in perfect shape. Perfect place for families and couples
