We were allowed check in an hour later than advertised because the cleaner had not finished. My friend saw a roach upstairs. We had to get bug spray. I would also suggest the check in process for the resort/club a little tedious for a weekend arrival. We did not get our packet until Monday. I would suggest better follow up via phone call or text if the application was not received within a week of check in. It was sent to email but lost in junk mail.

We had such a great 4th of July here. Pools were nice and the dock was really close. Beautiful area!

Our family loved this community! The pools were lovely and the people kind. The owner was easy to contact.

The condo was clean and bright. The large windows overlooking the trees and golf course were amazing. The community and amenities were just perfect. We did sleep in the loft, because the bed on the main floor was too soft for us. We still loved it!

The cabin was quaint and had personality. We were comfortable during our stay but there were a few inconveniences. We found a cockroach inside the cabin and around the complex, the dishwasher and garbage disposal were not functioning, some dishes still had residual food on them, there was a big sticky spot in the fridge and a long hair in the freezer, cobwebs in the fans, and there were liquid stains on the cabinets.
Concerning the dishwasher and garbage disposal, the owner bent over backwards to make it right and she was very polite and accommodating in her conversation with us. I would highly recommend hiring a new cleaner or cleaning agency since the person who cleaned before our stay didn’t seem to check all the boxes that are expected in a basically five star Vrbo property. Some of the decor and appliances also seem dated.
Overall we enjoyed the neighborhood and the accommodations and we had a relaxing time. The property would be exemplary if the interior was cleaned more thoroughly.

We stayed a week at this condo while looking for a house in the general area. Location was very convenient. We liked looking out over the golf course and the Keowee Club golf was nice, meals were good. Kitchen, dining and FR were fine. Very small bathrooms, queen bed made it tight for two adults. Closets were packed with stuff and towels were minimal.

We were a little disappointed with our stay, the place was clean, but there seemed to be a little bit of a smell. Also, the amount of rules for check out was quite a bit. Overall in was an ok place, but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Nice little condo on the golf course. It was very comfortable and had all we needed for a long weekend on Lake Keowee. There were plently of household items to feel at home, such as a fully stocked kitchen, bath towels and soaps. The back deck offered a beautiful view that we really enjoyed. The condo was clean, but bath mats were not and it seems the comforter isn’t washed in between guests. Not that it looked dirty, but I felt it should be washed after each guest. Other than those very minor details, it had everything we needed. Amy, the property manager, was fantastic at communication and was on top of things! Thank you for a lovely stay. We would for sure come back.

This condo was charming and had the essentials. Location was convenient in that it was 20 minutes to Clemson. The only thing is that it was advertised as lake view, but we couldn’t see the lake from the condo. We saw the golf course.

Excellent state, everything was clean and the location was ideal.

Loft bathroom was built under the slope of the roof. The shower was very tight. Adult male reported that shaving in the shower was not possible since raising arms caused elbows to hit the enclosure.

Pros- The condo is very cute and well maintained. Its located near both lakes and has mutiple things in the area to keep you busy. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. There is a very nice balcony/porch for relaxing.
Cons- Downstairs bed is uncomfortable and creaky/noisy. The walls are thin and we could hear the neighbor coughing all night so we moved to the upstairs bedroom. This bed was more comfortable. The throw covers smell horrid and need to be washed. We normally bring our own bedding but forgot this time. (Wont make that mistake again). I asked the owner about the gate code as we were arriving late and she quickly told me the answer is located in the 1st paragraph of the instructions.... (kinda of snarky but whatever) and by the way the code didn't work. But overall the condo was ok. Not sure if I will rent this particular unit again.

Review of Lake Keowee
The owner was very nice & communicated well with us for the most part. We had a nice stay, but there were a few small issues as follows:
1.) The unit below us had construction activities going on all day until about 6:00 pm that we weren't aware of before the stay & it was loud most of the day.
2.) We weren't aware of the Golf Course being closed on Wednesday afternoons, which was the time we were planning on playing.
3.) The amenities were good except for the very small & tight 2nd floor bathroom.
The lake itself was awesome & we were able to rent a boat and had a great time.

Great stay
Everything was great!
FYI....seems as though there may be an unwanted visitor running in the ceiling. Squirrel?
Could use better directions to use the family room TV

Staying at Keowee Keys
This was a very nice property. The only problem that we had was the tv in the den and in one BR did not work properly. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we decided to visit this part of the state. The management was very cooperative with our inquiries and tried to resolve the issues.

Our Stay
The property was very clean. The only thing we would suggest is a more updated decor. It was a bit dated, but very comfortable!

Excellent experience
Condo is in a great location overlooking golf fairway as an end unit so felt private. The owner Mary was terrific both prior and during the stay with advice, golf tee time support and some flexibility extending our checkout one hour. Very pleasant young lady and everything rent very smoothly! We will return!

The condo is a place to relax. The owner’s special touches give an ambiance of mountain beauty and hospitality. Highly recommend.

Nice place
The only problem we had was that we were intending to rent a “lake cabin” and this was neither on the lake nor was it a cabin. The townhome on the golf course was nice. (Could have done without the neighbor below’s cigarette smoke interrupting any outside enjoyment of the deck). It is in a quiet, peaceful, and safe area. Overall, the rental gave us the getaway we needed.
