Beach Dream is a luxurious beachfront house that was completely rebuilt with concrete walls, using ICF Construction (Insulated Concrete Forms) to be extra strong and quiet. The house was finished in June 2022, so it's still like new. The main level is the elevated upper level and offers incredible views from the large front deck and the wrap-around deck. There is a wall of windows in the great room and dining room, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gorgeous pink/white sand beach that stretches for miles. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (3 king beds, 3 twin beds) with a fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances and filtered water throughout the house. The house offers an open floor plan including an island with bar stools and a dining room table that seats 8, making Beach Dream perfect for family dinners and entertaining. --------------------
If you need more space....A separate apartment with a separate entrance called Beach Time is the lower level. It is 2 bedrooms and 2 baths (both are king suites) with a large gourmet kitchen and great room. The rate is $425 per night. It's easy to get Guana Cay...Once you arrive at the Marsh Harbour airport and clear customs, grab a taxi (very easy, they're waiting out front) about 10 minutes to the Guana ferry dock. The G&L Ferry runs a few times a day and it’s a short, 35 minute scenic ride to Guana Cay. ----------------------------
About Great Guana Cay: Great Guana Cay is a barrier island in the Abaco chain of islands in the Bahamas. The third largest barrier reef sits just off shore, offering unlimited snorkeling and SCUBA diving opportunities. A gorgeous reef is right in front of the house that is perfect for snorkeling and is only a short swim away with an easy beach entry. The island has about 150 residents but there are quite a few second homeowners and visitors. Guana Cay is a beautiful tropical island with gorgeous beaches that are never crowded and the color of the water is unbelievable! It is secluded yet has all the necessities. -----------------------------
There are a few restaurants and bars, as well as a well-stocked grocery store and a liquor store. Just down the beach, World-famous Nipper’s Beach Bar and Grill has very good food and they are family-friendly with a swimming pool. It’s always fun and people come from all of the neighboring islands to visit, especially on Sunday afternoon for Sunday-FunDay. Grabber's Bar & Grill is fun, too and a great place to watch the beautiful Guana sunset. Kidd's Cove Seafood Bar & Grill has re-opened on Front Street on the harbour serving delicious dinners. Pack your snorkel and dive gear…a spectacular reef is right off the beach in front of the house. Dive Guana offers full service PADI scuba diving and snorkeling trips. Dive Guana also has any gear you need...the water is very clear and the diving is gorgeous. If you would like to rent a boat during your vacation, we highly recommend the boats at Dive Guana. It’s conveniently located on Guana Cay and they rent nice 20ft. to 26ft. boats for fishing, diving or exploring and are reasonably priced. --------------------------
Bedroom Details: All of the bedrooms have been furnished with high thread-count sheets and bedding. The master bedroom has a king bed with French doors that open onto the front deck and gorgeous colors of the ocean. The master bath has double sinks with a shower tiled to the ceiling. The second master also has a king bed with its own entrance into the bathroom that can also be accessed from the hallway. It has a tub/shower that is also tiled to the ceiling. The half bath is adjacent to the third and fourth bedrooms. The third bedroom has a king bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 bunk beds and a twin bed. A Pack-n-Play is available if needed. -----------------------------
Rain water is held in tanks below the house. The water is filtered twice before it enters the house, so it’s tastes excellent out of any faucet. It’s filtered a third time through the icemaker and water dispenser. The rain water has all of the natural minerals and it doesn’t have any chemicals, it’s the only water we drink when we're there. ----------------------
Restaurants and Shops on Great Guana Cay : World-famous Nipper’s Beach Bar and Grill is family-friendly with a swimming pool and consistently excellent food. It’s always fun and people come from all of the neighboring islands to visit, especially on Sunday afternoon for the weekly Pig Roast Party. Friday nights are also popular for Chicken-In-Da-Bag or Conch. This was our first time in the Abacos and it was everything we were told and more. The house was truly a "dream" house. You really just have to see it for yourself. Our favorite spot to snorkel was directly in front of the house right off the beach. Beautiful reef with an insane amount of marine life!! Grant was great and incredibly attentive. We can't wait to go back!!! Thank you Grant. See you soon!!!

This is a fabulous property on a spectacular beach. There's a wonderful patch reef within easy swimming distance. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It is well stocked with everything you need and then some. Our stay could not have been better! Note that there are stairs and a fairly steep beach access, tough on older knees.

Our stay at Beach Dream was fantastic. Two families (4 adults and 5kids) were very comfortable and had plenty of space. The property is in a fantastic spot. Easy access to dining or shopping on the key. The reef out front provided hours of entertainment for all of us each day. Very quiet place (other than Nippers on Sunday afternoon and that wasn’t even bad). Owner and property manager were very helpful to us as we were newbies to the Abacos. We look forward to our return (hopefully soon).

This beauty sits majestically 10 feet above the beautiful white beach w clear water that shows the reefs just 30 feet off shore. While snorkeling, I saw angel fish and plenty of other fish hiding around the coral. Central air, high ceilings, great kitchen and a deck to sit n watch the surf. 3 minute golf cart ride to the grocery store or Grabbers. Nippers is 3 houses down the beach! PERFECT!

Our family of two adults, two high school seniors and a middle schooler stayed the week of March 23-30 2019. The house (Beach Dream) was everything as described. Everyone was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the location on the beach and being 3 doors down from Nipper's was perfect. I would recommend Beach Dream to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation. Grant Kelly (owner) and Gina the caretaker were great to work with and very informative about the ins and outs of staying on the island. We'll be back.

Could not have been more satisfied with our stay at this house. Great location, house in very good condition, owner was extremely easy to work with. Beautiful view from front porch, great island, very safe. Perfect family beach vacation house. Ferry from Marsh Harbor was also very easy. Will definitely be back!

Grant's property was fantastic. There were 4 of us with loads of room to spare, it easily accommodates many more. You couldn't beat the views from the deck. Everything was well appointed, everything we went looking for, we found it. The beach was gorgeous but pretty rough so we only swam a couple of times but it was no problem to go to the calm side for swimming. Snorkelling was pretty good as well but again rough (I'm not a strong swimmer)The proximity to Nippers was a couple of minutes walk and very close to the "downtown" area and Grabbers which was lots of fun. Every question was answered by Grant promptly and he gave us lots of great tips on the Cay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone who asked. Thank you Grant for a wonderful week!

You know how they say, “time flies when you’re having fun”? Well staying at this AMAZING house in the most beautiful location on Earth made this saying a reality. My family and I, along with 2 friends, (7 people in total) spent a week here from December 8-15th. From the beach with the softest sand I’ve ever felt where we maybe saw 3 other people the entire week, to the snorkeling in the reef right in front of the house, to going on rides around the island on the golf cart, we couldn’t have asked for a better week. While there, we saw a rainbow 4 of the 7 days and just had an absolute blast! The locals on this island are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and we all agreed that we never felt safer in any place that we had ever traveled. A local right next door even invited us into his house and cooked us fresh lobsters! The only thing I could say is that I wish we had gone for longer than a week because each day was so much fun that it went by in a flash. TRUST ME, you HAVE to stay at Beach Dreams and Great Guana Cay!!!

This house was everything you could want for a place on the beach. We went for a family vacation before Easter. Great Guana Cay is very laid back and easy to maneuver around. We had 2 golf carts and a boat. Visited some of the other islands. Went snorkeling, even on the reef right in front of the house. The house is very well appointed. Just when you thought, 'oh they probably don't have this" there was the pair of binoculars that you wished you brought! Would definitely stay here again.

Beach Dream was truly a dream come true! This gorgeous beach home is brand new and well appointed with tasteful furniture, quality appliances, and the comforts of home. The house is right on the beach on the Atlantic side of the small island, which was so great for our whole family to come and go as we pleased. My son loved exploring the town on a rental bike. He learned to scuba dive right there on Great Guana Cay. Transportation was easy on a golf cart, so a car was not needed. The most amazing time we spent was snorkeling for starfish, sea cucumber and sting ray in the sea nearby. The water was such beautiful shades of blues and greens, you’d almost think you were looking at a post card! The warm, tropical air and casual atmosphere made this island spot a perfect place for us to relax and recharge our battery. We'd go back in a heartbeat!Leslie

Our family rented the Beach Dream… that is, our whole family -- my in-laws, my mother, our three children, and my wife and I. This beach house handled us all with room to spare. On the sunny days we played on a perfect beach snorkeling and swimming. My in-laws took long morning walks and said they felt like it was their private beach. We sat on the massive deck sunning while my mom found a comfy corner to read her book and still be a part of what we were doing. At nights we played cards having great family time without the distractions that surround us every day. The kitchen was like ours at home with all the nice-it –tees. The moms made great dinners of locally caught grouper and lobster. There’s absolutely nothing more relaxing than falling asleep to the sound of the surf; it has to be the most peaceful thing in the world. Small island life cannot be described, you have to live it for at least a week! We truly felt like we were on a different planet from our busy, busy life’s.A completely satisfied traveler

Beach Dream is a real dream. I have been going to Abaco for 20 years and this is, by far, the best place I have ever stayed!
The house is well equipped and was immaculate when we arrived. The beds and furniture is very comfortable. The house is very roomy with fantastic views from every room. There were 6 of us and we never felt crowded. The caretakers are fantastic people! Even tho it was pouring rain when we arrived in our rental boat, Gina and Robert met us at the dock and helped unload our gear and provisions. It also has a lot of things that you don't find at other rentals, paper towels, kleenex, bath and laundry soap, toilet paper, etc. It exceeded our greatest expectations. Grant,the owner, was very helpful in providing local info and suggestions. Just cannot say enough about this house. You really feel at home there, very comfortable. We will certainly rent it again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks on Great Guana Cay in July 2009. Beach Dream is a fantastic home on one the prettiest beaches we have ever seen. Grant, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. Gina, the caretaker, is a dear person and we became friends with her entire family. The friendly people, the perfect beaches, the beautiful reefs, the great boating (rent from Troy at Dive Guana), and the good food are all reasons for us to return to Great Guana Cay and the Abacos.

I have had the great fortune of travelling throughtout the world. Our prefernces are to stay in villas,homes or small bungalow type of accomadations as opposed to large hotels. We also prefer to cook as many meals as possible to cut down on costs. Beach Dreams is all that we could ask for and more. The setup for our group of 9 people was very comfortable and open. The setting is perched upon a beautiful sand dune and the beach sand is the softest we've ever encountered. The coral reef right off the beach is about as convenient as could be possible. Our 7 year old son made many swims to the reef and saw all kinds of fish and turtles. My top 3 favorite things about Beach Dreams are,
1. centrally located on the island
2. the onobstructed view of the Alantic ocean
3. the accomodations of the house,very well laid out.
If any of these things are appealing to you, I would suggest looking into this spot and making your own Beach Dreams.

What an incredible place. The house is spectacular as is the island,beach, location etc. The house is very well finished with superior furnishing, appliances( not what you would expect in a rental ) Beach Dream well exceeded our expectations.Although we have just returned from there, we have already made plans to go back. We travel quite a bit and this property is everything it advertises and more. You simply can't beat the location. Everyone we met, including the property owners in setting up the trip were totally committed to making sure we had an excellent stay. Beach Dream handled 7 of us easily, we cooked quite a bit and the grill and appliances were in great shape. Troy and Maria at the Dive Shop were also phenomenal hosts as we rented a boat and they mapped us routes and recommended places everyday. I would recommend Beach Dream to anyone--it is the most relaxing place we have ever been.

This house is amazing! The view is spectacular. The pictures just don’t do it justice. The furnishings, fixtures, and appliances far exceed what you would expect in a rental home. The beach is right off the back porch with a great reef to snorkel at, which we did daily. I could go from the porch and be on the reef in less than 5 minutes. Another great aspect to this house is its close proximity to everything. We will definitely be staying here again.
