About this cabin rental
One bedroom cabin with screened in porch. A clean, well-lighted place located on a 230 acre hay ranch in Montana's beautiful Swan Valley. Sleeps 2 comfortably and has been recently renovated. 87 miles from Glacier National Park, just 2 miles off Montana Highway 83. Direct access to the Bob Marshall Wilderness and only 4 miles from the Mission Mountain Mercantile. Close to Holland, Lindbergh, Seeley and Flathead lakes with excellent fishing on the nearby Swan River. Also very convenient for bicyclists and bikers trekking between Yellowstone and Glacier. Single or multiple days available.

Secluded place for a short stay.

Great home base for hiking and fishing. Beautiful location with direct trail access to NF. Andy is friendly and knowledgeable. Would happily stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This is an adorable little cabin located in the heart of God’s country. Quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed mornings and evenings on the screened porch. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with anything you might need. Andy is an exceptional host and made himself available to answer any of our questions about the area. We’ll definitely rent from him again!

Andy was extremely friendly and communicative on how to locate the cabin; this was especially helpful because Verizon does not have signal in the area. It was a great weekend getaway enjoying the beautiful scenery, wildlife, and the summertime wildflowers. 10/10!

For someone looking to leave the congested world behind, and to surround himself in the wonders of mountain nature, this is the place. Ample, rustic and ideally located, this cabin got it. Wildlife is all around you, including daily visits by deer, a senate of gigantic owls, and watch out for the grizzly. The cabin is cozy, rustic with a nice porch to enjoy the late afternoon drink. Andy, the owner, can't be a nicer guy. Always touching base, and in my case, going the extra mile to help me with a flat tire in the proverbial middle of nowhere. The cabin is only a few miles from the only market and gas station in many miles, and close to many miles of hiking trails with spectacular views. Only one heads up, unless you have ATT, you are out of toich. All in all, this is the perfect spot for one or two individuals.

The highlight of our stays. We stayed in the smaller Hunters Cabin. Perfect for 2 ! Andy, his daughter, and their dog Sis were such a joy to meet! Location was incredible. Short walks and watching the sun rise and set was just a bonus. We were based here for day trips to Glacier and Swan Lake! Perfect! And the screened porch gave us the comfort of home!

It is a Hunter’s Cabin keep that in mind but great location and quiet. Just right for two people .
indoor shower , kitchen sink , small refrigerator, bunkbed, toilet and screened in front porch and that makes it great when returning from a long day of hiking 🥾

A fantastic little cabin at an incredible price. Sitting on the screened-in porch listening to the wildlife at night was one of the highlights of our entire Montana adventure. The host runs a fantastic operation!

Andy's cabin was the perfect stay to introduce us to the west! The cabin was perfectly prepared, clean, comfy, and had the most fun decor! The screened in porch was a highlight. Andy is very hospitable and we would stay time and time again!

I had a great stay at the Hunter's Cabin. It was clean and remote, and located in a beautiful setting. A deer and fawn wondered past the window each evening. The screened in porch is amazing on a warm evening, and I spent much of my time there. I met the owner, Andy, and he was pleasant, helpful, and mindful of my privacy and solitude. I hope to be back.

We had a great experience at the cabin. The cabin is very cute and comfortable. The details of kitchen equipment and fun decorations and books were very good. We awoke to deer and took a short walk into the Bob Marshall wilderness- very beautiful. The owner is very amiable and helpful.

Had a wonderful ,relaxing few days at the Hunter’s Cabin. It is a most peaceful place in a spectacular setting. The cabin has every thing could need including a large assort of books to read and lots of guide books regarding the area and the natural world. Quiet is key and Andy is a great host who really wants you to see and understand this special place. He is a treasure trove of knowledge and delightful to talk with. If you are wanting peace, quiet and the beauty of the natural world this is the place!

Quiet, private, reasonable price, lots of books, maps, and other area information. Very nice screened porch for reading, contemplating, visiting, etc. without fighting mosquitos.

Staying at the property was like driving up to a hidden peaceful oasis in the mountains.
Andrew was a great host. Checked on us to be sure we had everything we needed, but was not intrusive.

This cabin was just off the main road in Condon, but far enough off to be very still and quiet. Looking out our window in the morning we saw a deer and her fawn. A perfect place to get some quiet rest.

Outstanding Experience
From the minute we pulled up we were in awe of the surroundings. Absolutely loved our stay. In the time leading up to our stay Andy was super responsive, answered all our questions re: the area around the Swan Valley and the cabin itself.
The cabin is as advertised, the shower was awesome even. Our favorite spot is the screened in porch in the evening overlooking the valley.
If you are a couple do not be afraid of the bunk beads. They were really comfortable and the fact my wife and I slept separately for the first time in a long time I had the best sleep in a long time…😀😀😀
Highly recommend staying with Andy as a host if you are in the area. Beats a chain hotel expérience hands down!

Remote mountain cabin
Host was responsive and helpful. Cabin quite small and rustic, no surprise as it was exactly as described in listing. Wonderful remote setting. Only drawback was the two mice that kept us awake a good bit, but i guess that kinda goes with the remoteness...

Lovely stay
This was great for a quiet getaway from the chaos taken place at the UTBS festival we went to over the weekend. Had all the essentials we needed to be comfortable. Andy was very responsive and helpful; we chatted with him a bit and he was a lot of fun to converse with. Overall a great stay and hope to come back!

The owner Andy does a great job with communicating with his property renters, as well as keeping the cabin in great condition! This is the greatest vaca renter spot for those visiting the area! I highly recommend!!!!

Just perfect
Normally I don't write reviews out of principle, but I have to make an exception in this case.
After my wallet was stolen, I arrived at Andy and his family's house with the last trope sprint. They helped me immediately, showed me around the farm, and even invited me for dinner. That was really remarkable and I am still very grateful.
Apart from that, the area is magnificent. If you want to relax from city life, this is the right place. When you step out of the cabin, you can see the silhouettes of snow-capped mountains, there is wildlife everywhere, amazing lakes and the air is phenomenal. Simply pure nature.
The cabin is clean, and cozy and includes everything else you need. Only internet and cell phone reception are mostly missing. But that's not really bad, because in this beautiful spot on earth you can safely do without your cell phone.

Perfect Getaway
The REAL Montana experience! I loved that this cabin was off the beaten path, no sounds of cars, or trains. Woke up to the call of Elk one morning, and birds chirping all around! Andy, gave great recommendations for hiking, and was superb at hosting.

Peaceful and convenient location
The cabin was very clean. Easy check-in/out process. Very nice place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful location nestled back in the woods. There is a nice grocery store less than 5 minutes away that has everything you would need. The front porch is a great place to relax, enjoy a nice cocktail after long days of hiking in the surrounding wilderness.

Hunter's Luxury cabin
This cabin is named "Hunter's Cabin" but we felt it should be named "Hunter's Luxury Cabin." We were here for one night including our three year old daughter. There was plenty of space for the three of us and our daughter had a blast playing in the woods and around the cabin. We had a glorious sunset view from this quiet cabin. The cabin is very clean and has everything a family needs, shower, microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, bunk beds, large window next to the dinning table, an amazing screened porch with chairs to sit on. Andy also has a collection of books and nature trail maps which we liked. We were given immense privacy. We wish we had stayed more days. Andy also was exceptionally good with communication and readily accommodated our request for early check in. Overall a five star cabin and a five star host.
