Great location for quick access to shopping and renaissance fair. It had all the most importance features for usâŠpool table, hot tub, large functional kitchen, and fire pit with WOODâŠ. Driveway/parking not an issue with our 5 vehicles. I would recommend sound machines for sleeping⊠especially if you are in the downstairs bedroom.

This vacation house is ideal for all ages! Plenty of room, great screened porch, covered area by beach( with fan), pool table- and more!. The beach was ideal for small children and they could walk right into the lake. The kitchen is very well stocked with everying you need for multiple people. No garbage disposal- but that turned out not to be an issue at all as there are multiple trash bins. Easy to communicate with Katie. It was a wonderful week- we have already booked again for next year!!

We loved everything about staying at this property. We had young children, tweenagers, teenagers, young adults, and adults and this property met the needs of everyone. It was beautiful, close to everything, had an amazing kitchen, we loved the zero entry into the lake, the gazebo with a fan by the water, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was the best we've ever had, and much more. The management company was easy to work with and addressed the issues we had promptly. We've stayed at Lake Norman summer after summer and we finally found a property we will return to!

Weâve stayed in several homes on Lake Norman and this one was the best one yet. It had the best appointed kitchen with all the necessary pots and pans, utensils, small appliances, and sharp knives. These were all of above-average quality, not the poor quality, nearly useless items in other houses. The house has functional open areas as well as the necessary private bedrooms and suites. Everything we used worked well from the hot tub to the pool table to the televisions to the kayaks. The covered area of the boat dock was especially welcome in the August heat. The beach was great for the young children, and the water near the end of the dock was barely six feet deep, perfect for an adult to stand in the water and play with the kids. This cove was always very peaceful with minimal boat traffic.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lake house with two other families, and it was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a quiet cove, the location provided the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, with a beach that was ideal for our combined six kids to play on.
The dock was spacious enough to accommodate our boats, and we particularly enjoyed the gazebo by the dock for leisurely afternoons. Inside, the house was comfortable, clean, and exceptionally spacious â a perfect fit for our large group. The well-equipped kitchen met all our culinary needs, making meal preparation a breeze.
We loved spending time in the screened-in porch, enjoying the lake view without the worry of bugs, and the hot tub added a touch of luxury to our stay. Ample parking and the private, homey feel of the property made it feel like our own secluded lakeside retreat.
The property manager was extraordinarily responsive to any questions that we had during the trip, enhancing our overall experience. Overall, we rated our stay very highly and would wholeheartedly recommend this lake house to anyone seeking a serene and delightful vacation spot. Our time here was filled with laughter, relaxation, and wonderful memories. We can't wait to return!

Our family of 8 enjoyed our yearly get together at Queens Cove. The home was clean and well equipped except for the lack of a garbage disposal. It was complicated doing dishes for 8! The beds were comfortable and the lake front location and dock were great.

The house was perfect for a multi-generation vacation. There was plenty of room to spread out using the living area, lower level, front and back porch, and screened-in porch. The home sits on a quiet cove, and the neighborhood was quiet.
The reviews were mixed about the home when we chose the home. We did not find any issues with the cleanliness of the interior of the home. The backyard in the photos with the sand area was one of the main reasons we selected the home for the vacation. We had a 3-year-old who wanted to run around and easily access the water.
The yard was full of fire ant hills that reduced the ability to use the yard safely, and goose waste was throughout the yard and sand. I asked about the goose waste. The response was that it is nature, and nothing can be done. Let people know that the nature in the yard will prevent them from being able to use the areas. It was a disappointment for us.
We appreciated that there were enough chairs to accommodate the number of people with us for meals. We enjoyed the kitchen with the extra oven. It helped when preparing meals. The outside screen porch was used daily due to the shade and ability to escape the mosquitos at night. The covered area by the dock was another favorite area to enjoy the lake. It provided a nice shady area down by the water.
Overall, the home was what we expected based on the description and reviews. Our family enjoyed the home and the convenience of having a rental boat dropped off and picked up

Great weekend at this cottage house with a group of friends. Listing was accurate and instructions were clear. Thank you!

We all had a blast - great location, easy check in, beautiful house/property. The house had plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Overall could not have asked for a better long weekend and the lake house was a big reason we enjoyed ourselves in Lake Norman. Thank you!

We are 4 families who are friends/family and spend every New Year/holiday season together. Usually, we are in NY or FL, but this year we decided to meet in the middle. We happened to fall upon this house when we were searching and it fit all of our needs. However, once we arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The house is stunning and we enjoyed every moment spent there. So happy we got to stay here!!!

Stayed over Christmas, no heat for four days. Wall heating unit in living did not work. Property manager was excellent but the maintenance of house was not desirable. Family made Christmas fun. Weather didnât help either.

Our family met here the day after Thanksgiving and we had a great time. The house had so much space and things to do. The beds were super comfy and there was plenty of space to park. I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful, rustic log cabin home to host a multigenerational family reunion. It provided everything we needed. It had plenty of sleeping space, a lovely kitchen and two dining areas, a gas grill, fire pit, private boat dock, small beach area, and a large yard to set up croquet, ladder ball, bocce ball etc. A ton of fun and lots of memories made!

Our family had a blast at this house even with the rain of Hurricane Ian. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the open floor plan (kitchen/living space/cool covered porch) made it easy for the whole gang to hang out together. Great space for watching football and playing board games when it's raining. We even left a few! - if you play "Trivial Pursuit 80's" think of the Miller family in Georgia. On our last day, we were able to take the kayaks out and tool around in the lake. Beautiful spot with a huge yard for the kids to run around in after several days of being cooped up. Lots of porches. In a lovely neighborhood. Close to lots of stores. Hope to go back again! Thank you!

This was an old guy friends reunion. We selected Lake Norman as our destination since it was an equal distance for all travelers. We chose Queen's Cottage because of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the fact that it was situated on the lake. Admittedly, I am giving this review as a 67 year old male. The house met our expectations and gave us a great opportunity to reconnect and relax. However, if my wife had attended, I believe her review might offer a little more constructive criticism, as follows. I realize the house is covered by trees, but many areas of the exterior and porch were covered in spider webs. Could use a good cleaning, as it looked dingy. Some of the outdoor rocking chairs were covered in bird poo, which we tried to clean before using. Clearly, the exterior was not getting the same attention as the interior. Also found two dead cockroaches in the house. Thankfully, we didn't see any live ones. Finally, just a minor issue, but we didn't see any instructions in the description that we had to bring our own soap. Again, my group was quite satisfied with the house and location. We would probably return again, but not with the wives.

EXCELLENT PROPERTY
We had 14 family members for our annual gathering and it could not have been better. The house was clean and very spacious.

Great location
Great location of house. Very quiet cove. The house was okay. We saw ants in the kitchen before we unloaded our bags and it was a consistent problem throughout the week. We ended up throwing away produce that sat out (bananas, apples, etc). The dishwasher also had a horrible smell so we ended up washing dishes all week after running on full cycle a few times. The yard and dock were great for kids to play and swim. Other than the kitchen, we had a great week!

Father's Birthday Celebration with family
We had a wonderful stay in this very spacious home. Some minor issues were promptly addressed. The large screened porch was a nice gathering place. One recommendation would be to have the kayaks cleaned/drained prior to the rental. We highly recommend Lake Norman boat rentals and had a great time on their pontoon boat exploring the lake during our stay.

This was a great house for a long weekend vacation.

Lake Stay
It was overall good. A circuit in the house tripped and wouldnât come back which was a little frustrating and disappointing. They had corn hole but one bag is torn so only 3 bags for that color.
Otherwise everything was great and as listed.

Peaceful lake house
Overall the location was great and the house was as advertised. The beach/ slide in space for the kayaks and gazebo on the dock were awesome. There was a problem with ants and wasps in the house and a few doors that did not close and lock properly inside but these were minor. Other than that issue we just needed more life jackets and to have hangers available. available. I would recommend the location.

Good Location
The property was a good location and easy to find. It had plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The property management company was overall very responsive
Unfortunately as a group we have several cons. The property was not clean when we arrived, my husband and I actually had to wash our sheet because we found black hairs in the bed. The bed linens were either old or cheap and the hard plastic on the beds was Disgusting and made it feel like a cheap motel. There are plenty of other ways to protect mattresses. The drains didnât drain well, the dishwasher left a soapy film on everything. The âblindsâ did nothing to block the light and at night is was difficult because the lake side faced an apartment building. The balcony is extremely unsafe for kids, they can easily crawl under and fall. The listing (other than if you read the photo description) stated 2 twin rooms, but there is only 1 room with 2 twins abs 1 room with a day bed, which for us was very different. Clearly this is a burn and property for the owner and they are trying to get the most out of it, itâs clear they rarely are there. We wouldnât stay there again.

Great, beautiful location.
Great, beautiful location on nice water channel. Fishing and walking were good! House was very nice with good accommodations to meet our large familyâs needs.

Wonderful stay!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. First and foremost the property was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed which was highly important as we were there for Thanksgiving. This house is loaded with activities to keep everyone happy. The basement bar / game room was a hot spot and there was always someone soaking in the hot tub. We would love to come back over the summer when we can really take advantage of the lake.
If I had to pick an area of improvement I would ask that all thermostats be identified in the manual. We had everything set to 65 and it seemed like the vents in the kitchen area were blowing often and it made the home very warm. Secondly, I think you should update your pictures, especially #2. The view across the lake has drastically changed since these pictures were taken and I felt a little robbed to not see nature. Others may feel the same.

House was exactly what it said it was. Clean, spacious and great access to the lake. Great dock and beach area. Great Vacation!!!!

Nice place
We had some cleanliness problems but the management company responded quickly and corrected everything. The house was very nice, but the basement bedroom needs a door for added privacy. The owners have lots of extras items; life jackets, air pump, rope, towels, but the paddle board needs to be replaced. The kitchen was well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the outside amenities and our stay.

Family Vacation
Loved the layout of this house, plenty of room. The hornets nest and cockroach put a bit of a damper on our stay.

Great Few Days at the Lake
The property was ad advertised and the family had a great few days at the lake. The rental company is extremely responsive and was wonderful to deal with. We had a clog in the kitchen sink and they were able to come out to fix it within 30 minutes, really great. There is some noise from the highway so that is one of the downsides but we were able to tune it out pretty quickly. Would definitely stay again and also rent other properties from southern charm vacations.

Perfect lake house!
This house has everything you need for a dream vacation at the lake. Itâs situated in a quiet cove in a no wake zone with easy access to everything. It is stocked with everything you need. We rented a pontoon from the realty co. servicing the house which they delivered and picked up. Just pack your clothes and get ready for fun. Our dogs loved it. Large private yard. It is beautiful! We look forward to returning.

The property on the outside was lovely. We found the inside was not as advertised.
It was an easy process, however, after 2 past rentals at Lake Norman, this was our least favorite. There was food and wrappers in an upstairs bathroom, the water pressure was very poor everywhere. The kitchen sink didnât drain at all when we got there. My son-in-law found a plunger and got the water draining. The plumbing in all bathrooms really needs updated. And, the whole house wasnât as clean as we expected. Iâm guessing it is a year round rental and the owners donât live in the house. New cleaning folks might be helpful. A couple of the bedrooms were much smaller than the pictures. We would not rent again nor recommend this property to others.

Great lake house
We had a wonderful time staying at this lake house. Perfect location for floating I the lake and everything you need right there. Lots of kayaks and a paddle board and the sandy play area were a huge plus! Loved the screened in porch and hot tub too.

The property was fantastic! It was more than we ever thought it would be. So much space, and the backyard was incredible along with all the amenities. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a great getaway. The description doesnât even do this house justice! The property management company was great to deal with and made everything so easy. We loved the house and the area it was located on the lake. Will be staying again when we come back!

Fun even in the rain
My family was in town for a wedding. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time but we still had a good time. The home is large with plenty of inside options for fun. The descriptions were accurate and communication was good. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.
