Easy to find, was very clean and near to Bakewell! There was a welcome basket which was very nice, and the property had everything we needed.
Loved everything!

I highly recommend this cottage. The peaceful location, just a short 7-minute drive from Bakewell Showgrounds, was perfect for stay during the Bakewell Peak District challenge. Getting to Bakewell from the cottage was a quick with a taxi costing £9.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a welcome pack and later lovely owner, Joy, popped in to say hi. Joy was incredibly helpful and provided us with information about local taxis, including prices and contact numbers, as well as bus schedule. We did have some difficulty finding the place initially, but a quick call to Joy resolved the issue, as there is no signal or internet in the area.
The cottage itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Big plus for us was the gates on the second bedroom, which gave us peace of mind knowing that our toddler couldn't wander around at night. Another great feature of the cottage was the designated parking spot right next to it. This meant that we didn't have to worry about finding street parking.
Overall, our experience at this cottage was fantastic. Perfect location, the warm hospitality of Joy, and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage make it a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the beautiful Bakewell trails.
Would be very nice if jacuzzi bath had shower head.

Lovely house, well equipped and comfortable. We got quite used to having a bath rather than a shower! Joy was so welcoming and couldn't do more for us, including a welcome gift for us and our puppy! Perfect location in very quiet courtyard in the heart of the village. A great spot for walking along Lathkill Dale and close to Bakewell. We will certainly be back!

The place is absolutely amazing! The lady owner was so kind, my sat nav couldn't find the place but when I called for directions, she come out and meeting us, even under rain and lead us on the right place.
The house very comfortable. I fell in love with the kitchen niche. Plenty of space.
Wifi works 100%, big TV and my friend had watch it for King Charles coronation.
Really appreciated the "welcome basket" and chessboard and play card.
Really! The place deserve a "en plain 10", but I have to be objective and unlucky the fabulous and stunning bath (I think is Jacuzzi bath) doesn't have a shower.
I went there with my mom and my italian friend and her husband. Both, my mum and my friend's husband cannot take a shower.
We stay only 2 nights, but was uncomfortable for them are not able to wash.
Furthermore, the room with the bunk beds doesn't have windows, so my mum and me had to sleep keeping the door open.
