About this villa rental
Fully Licensed
Discover Villadunas, a three-bed detached villa in a privileged position as only 7 properties on this secure gated complex have a front line location with panoramic views (Villadunas being one of them). The villa is fully equipped for all your needs and has Fibre-optic internet. Wifi is available on all floors.
There is a superb 6 seater Jacuzzi for sole use of our guests with two loungers, kaleidoscope lighting and a temperature of 38 degrees. Just wonderful to relax in after a hard day's sunbathing!
There is a large private sunny garden gated on both sides making it safe for children with attractive grassed area and mini putting green. The villa has a large patio area with tables and chairs and sun loungers and a path leading to the attractive brick-built barbecue. The garden has a rockery with attractive plants making a perfect setting for alfresco dining. Own driveway with plenty of parking space. As the villa is detached there is ample space all around the property - making it possible to find sun and shade at all times. A sun lovers dream!
The villa also has a wonderful roof terrace (Rooftop Retreat) with far-reaching views of Los Lobos and Lanzarote. A perfect space for chilling out and enjoying those amazing views.
All the properties on the complex have use of a beautiful communal lagoon-shaped pool and childrens pool which is just a five-minute walk from the property. Nearest supermarket is within a five-minute walk and nearest bars/restaurants within an approx fifteen-minute walk. The bustling town of Corralejo is within a 3 mins drive/30 mins walk. Car hire is recommended although not essential but would give the opportunity to explore this fascinating island.
Corralejo area: Corralejo is on the north coast of Fuerteventura and offers a wide range of bars, restaurants, shops, amenities and leisure facilities whilst still retaining its beauty and original Canarian charm. The old quarter of the town is delightful and it is here where you can wander through a labyrinth of streets leading to the harbour which has excellent tapas bars and restaurants offering a wide choice of cuisine and catering for all tastes and budgets. There is a small sandy beach in the town which offers safe bathing and is popular with the locals. The Baku Water Park is in the centre of town and offers a great day out for all the family. There is a twice weekly market. Corralejo Harbour has two ferry ports (with regular trips to Lanzarote and the uninhabited island of Los Lobos), a marina and various excursion options with glass bottomed boats, deep sea fishing, jet ski hire etc. Fuerteventura is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches.
Local beaches/Parque Natural area: There is a safe sandy beach in the centre of town which is popular with the locals. The magnificent dunes lie just beyond the town (approx 5 mins drive) and spread for miles along the east coast. Beautiful Flag Beach with its stunning white sand is one of the best places to try water sports such as windsurfing and kite surfing. For the more experienced 'Glass Beach' is recommended or for those that don't fancy anything too strenuous 'Drop Beach' is a bit further along the main road.
Villadunas is situated in the 'Parque Natural' area of Corralejo, which is a protected area on the outskirts of town and is adjacent to the beautiful sand dunes. This area has panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Island of Los Lobos, Lanzarote and the mountains.

We had a fantastic week at Villadunas. Excellent communications/directions from Andrew and Gillian before arrival.
It is a lovely quiet location with fantastic views from the private roof terrace.
The villa is spotlessly clean and well equipped.
The hot tub is an amazing addition which we enjoyed frequently.
Only a 5 minute walk to supermarkets and bar/restaurants. Alternatively a taxi in the evening to Corralejo costs only 8 euros.
We look forward to returning again next year.

Very nice villa with a fantastic garden & garden furniture. Only minor complaints. There was no mid stay cleaning or change of bedding. Not a big deal as there is a washer but would have been better if we we were forewarned. A gated community which can only be accessed by car with a key fob. This makes it very secure but awkward if you want to order a taxi. Again not a major problem but we had to walk from the gates to the villa.
Overall very impressed & I would certainly recommend & would have no hesitation in returning.

This is a great villa, everything is just lovely, good layout nice garden, putting green a bonus. Spectacular roof terrace with great view. Walk to centre is a bit too long to do everyday so would recommend a car. Lidl and Mercadonna 5 min walk.
Taxis only 5 eros to centre. Loved it.

Great location if looking for a peaceful relaxing break.
Communication with the villa owners Andrew & Gillian was great, they kept us informed and sent all relevant details to access the gated property and villa.
Unfortunately a couple of other holiday makers in nearby villas were not very considerate with the noise they made on our first night, so I contacted the manager Christine who was extremely helpful and subsequently received email communication from the owners who made every effort to resolve the situation very quickly. I am informed this was a very unusual situation as the villas are mostly owned by residents.
The villa is situated at the end of a cul -de- sac and looks out over to a fantastic view of the sand dunes and sea. There are two large supermarkets within walking distance and it is easy to walk into town, however we like walking but some may feel a car is necessary. Instructions and local information provided was extremely clear and helpful, we know this area very well having stayed there many times, so this lovely villa has added another location for future years.

mirador de las dunas
nice location. easy to find. not that close to beach, but not a problem with a car.
Ok if you like cats, as there's one there that comes around every day.
residence opposite a little annoying with three VERY noisy dogs.
Villa itself very comfortable.
My party only gave me two specific requirements , as regards
the booking , a hot tub, and access to a swimming pool.
Disappointed that I was not informed in advance that the
swimming pool would not be open for use.
fellow guests not happy.
Other than that ,pleasant fortnight. M Rogers

10 days in paradise
This villa is beautiful, well equipped and has everything you need for a lovely relaxed holiday. It really felt like a home from home! Kitchen facilities were great so no problem at all making a breakfast, snack or nice dinner. We even had a lovely BBQ in the scenic garden. Loved the hot tub and the views from the roof top garden! Easy communication with the owners who were fab. What more can I say? Can't wait to go back. Thank you Andrew and Gillian!

Best Villa we have stayed in on Fuerteventura
We originally booked for 10 days and stayed for 10 weeks 😀We have stayed in many apartments and villas on the island over the years and Villadunas is the best we have stayed in. The villa is on a very secure gated complex with security guards patrolling all the time which made you feel safe and
secure. The complex is very peaceful, being there for so long we spent quite a few days just relaxing on the rooftop terrace admiring the views across the sand dunes to Lobos & Lanzarote and utilising the great hot tub and BBQ. The Villa has a proper kitchen with all the facilities and utensils needed.
It is located very close to the largest supermarket in Corralejo (Mercadona) and also a few bars and restaurants. It takes about 40 mins to walk into the town or you can take a beer break half way. If you turn right at the end of the street and use the bottom gate of the complex and turn right down the hill it will save you 10mins, you can also feed the chipmunks on the way down. Taxis cost about 5 Euros and will pick you up or drop you off at the main gate, due to COVID some taxis will only take 2 people, you will need to order a larger taxi if you are a larger group.
Andrew & Gillian were excellent hosts responding very quickly to any questions and keeping us informed of anything happening on the complex. We will definitely be back thank you both.

Very nice and well-equiped house in a quiet area, overlooking the dunes and with great view on Los Lobos from the upper terrace. Many seats to enjoy the garden and the top-terrace, everything is perfect to enjoy great holidays, nothing missing. (wine glasses, barbecue, jacuzzi... even a Christmas tree for Christmas and a bottle of wine on arrival....). Andrew and Gillian are lovely people. The only suggestion would be to maybe change the matress from the master bedroom and swap the single narrow 2-person bed in room number 2 for 2 single beds + add thick curtains in the bedrooms so that the light doesn't come in at night.
Otherwise, everything was perfect, we really enjoyed our stay at Villadunas and we won't hesitate coming back next time.

Homely villa
The villa has everything you need. Plenty of crockery, utensils and pots and pans. We were able to cook a full meal using the oven and hob. All worked perfectly.
The bedrooms were spacious enough and beds were ok. The showers worked well and there was enough hot water.
The villa has plenty of outside space and furniture.
The hot tub was fabulous and was well used.
The roof terrace was great, it had a couple of beds and chairs. Could have done with a table.
The area is very quiet which is exactly what we were all looking for.
We went with a couple of friends and we weren't crowded at all.
The host Andrew supplied pretty self explanatory info for your arrival and answered any queries quickly.
If you are looking for a relaxing break with easy access to nightlife then don't look any further than villa dunas.
We wouldn't hesitate to use the villa again if we holiday in fuerteventura.

From the booking, to arriving, Everything was easy and hassle free, The Villa is exactly as the listing describes it , You could not really ask for more, the villa was clean and spacious with amazing views across the sand dunes from the roof terrace. A lot of effort and thought has gone into making this a wonderful comfortable place to stay , everything is thought of and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Many thanks to Andrew & Gillian for let us stay in your gorgeous villa

Nice but needs tweaking
Nice villa with good outside space. A couple of negatives were the satellite tv didn't work just came up no signal all the time so only catch up tv available. Sheets were changed after a week but had to message for clean towels which turned up 2 days later. Mattress in king bed slopes and is hard. Enjoyed our stay but needs a refresh

Very relaxing!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Dunas! Having been to Corralejo several times before, I was totally aware of the location, and it was great to have uninterrupted views (and sun rises) to the Sand dunes in the distance. As already stated, you’ll need a car.
My boys (7 & 4) particularly loved the outside spaces (front and rear), and we used the mini golf and jacuzzi regularly - plenty of space to run around for them, and very peaceful (felt like we had the whole area to ourselves)
Inside, the property is spacious for 4, and can easily handle 6. Although didn’t really use the roof top, this was excellent too.
Only real ‘criticism’ is the inside of the property (furnishings and bathrooms) are beginning to feel tired, as these properties are 10 years old now - have flagged a few things to the owners, who’ve said they’ll fix them.
Just in terms of anyone else going at this time of year, the complex pool is not worth thinking about. It is totally ‘dead’ (ie no one else uses it, and no sun loungers - feels like a ghost town), and the pools are not heated, so freezing! Better to go to one of the hotels (we used the Rui palace tres islas, on the dunes/sea) and use their pool! - most have an least one of their pools heated - makes it just cold, rather than freezing.
Ps. Local supermarket (Mercado) is excellent value compared to the ‘Super Dino’ ones in town, which cater for the tourists.

Villadunas is everything and more as advertised, the views are amazing and the Hot Tub wow !!
Renting this villa from Andrew & Gillian couldn’t of been any easier, very helpful,
The villa is stunning the views are to die for, everything within easy access, shops bars & walks, beautiful place !!
We used the Hot Tub every day after our walk to the beach or to the town which is a short walk along the foot path at the side of the villa, where we enjoyed feeding the chipmunks on our way with peanuts absolutely awesome !!
Would highly recommend the Villadunas to anybody wanting a relaxed atmosphere and an enjoyable holiday we will definitely be returning again soon. Debbie & Dave from Swindon uk 😕

Fabulous Quiet Villa to relax!
We stayed in this beautiful villa for 10 days, it is absolutely amazing! A lovely quiet area, very peaceful. And even though you are surrounded by other villas; as it is based in a residential area, there is no outside noise. You can really relax and unwind here. The villa itself is lovely and spacious, a lovely layout and the side of the villa overlooks the sea and white dunes in the distance. There is a path that you can walk along that runs alongside the side of the villa which will take you to a nearby commercial area with a mini supermarket, a bar, and a number of cafes. The garden is lovely and big, there is a hammock that our son loved using. There is a Jacuzzi to the side of the villa with an outside shower. The roof terrace has a view to die for. In general, we loved this place and would definitely love to stay there again. There is a big Mercadano nearby for all your shopping needs, it is advisable to hire a car. We use Cicar. Hiring a car will give you the freedom to check out the general area and travel around the Island.

Holiday 04-15th June 19
Highly recommend this property, Andrew & Gillian were fantastic communicators from the off, even with myself having to make two changes to the booking! Great information pack supplied prior to arrival, description and details of the property were accurate. Very easy to find the property and we were impressed from the off, everything worked and not at any point did we feel like saying "oh if only they had this" everything felt ideal and we were immediately relaxed for our stay. Location and views are great, living among the locals is also very good, extremely friendly and polite and it is extremely quiet. Hot tub is an added bonus and Correlajo is just the right distance to get to. We would not hesitate to book again, thank you Andrew and Gillian for the use of your villa and making our Trip to Fuerteventura another memorable one!!

Great villa
Great villa for a week away, it is a bit out of town however a 30min walk to the top of the Main Street. Has all the amenities you need and can also access British TV channels if needed. Perhaps could do with a bit of updating but regardless we still enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay in comfortable villa
We enjoyed our stay very much at this large villa. After the final payment we received very clear instructions for getting access to the house. When we arrived all was very clean, the bed was made and towels provided. The kitchen is well equiped, we cooked almost every day. The garden is facing the south which makes it very comfortable to sit outside during these winter months. We also used the jacuzzi every day, which is very relaxing after another day of hiking.

Corallejo Gem
This was our 2nd stay at the villa and we were not disappointed! Since our 1st visit the Owners have recently added artificial grass and a small putting green which kept us all entertained. There are also new sun loungers which all adds to a relaxing holiday.
The villa is in walking distance from Corallejo but would recommend to hire a car as there is so much to explore.
The villa is a home from home and we will definitely going back there!

property was nice and clean
It took us a while to find it but we got there at the end :) Close to supermarket which is handy. The views are to georgeous from the bedroom and from the roof top. Glad we hired a car otherwise it would've been a struggle to get somewhere from the villa with 2 children. It was a quite windy for us in Corralejo but still we really enjoyed it. Beautiful beaches.

Sonniger Urlaub in frei stehender Villa
The villa stands in 1st row to the desert with its dunes and guaranteed privacy. Very good supermarket is within walking distance. For golfers, as we were there, a 9 hole course for beginners in the area, about 20 € per person.
Only English TV, thus receiving German channels over the existing Internet.
Thank you for the nice reception by the reputable British owner of this pretty and very well equipped villa.

Quiet clean and fully equipped
The apartment far surpassed our expectations. It was lovely and clean with everything anybody could want already there! TVs in bedrooms a lovely spacious roof terrace perfect for catching some sun! 3 bathrooms an outdoor eating area and of course the hot tub!!! The location was great far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the town to relax and almost feel local but close enough to pop into town when you fancy a cocktail or something to eat.
We would definitely use this apartment again it was so easy to book and the owners were great providing a full comprehensive list of "things to know" and of course directions!
If you enjoy a home from home with all the holiday extras this is the place for you

Lovely villa, with everything catered for
The villa was really well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The hot tub was brilliant to relax in, as was the peaceful location. We had no problems with the booking process, the owners are very helpful, and no problems at all during our stay. I would recommend the villa to others.

Lovely villa to enjoy the sunshine in Mar
The villa is lovely and spacious! There is plenty of room inside and out. Our favourite spot was the roof terrace which sheltered you from the wind although it was not that windy when we were there. Although we had a hire car we chose to walk into town. The walk into corralejo was a good 40 mins to restaurants, you could stop for a drink at the bar at the end of the path on route. We then caught a taxi home, tip get it from the taxi rank half way up the Main Street and then get them to drop you at entrance 3, this made it €4. We had some lovely meals and would highly recommend Infusion Restaurante, we are there a couple of times, turn left at Vodafone and it up there on the left hand side. Don't let the outside appearance put you off. Visiting the dunes is a must, as is a visit to El Cotillo a nearby seaside village, you could also choose to spend the day at the villa, the communal pool is also lovely although it does lack loungers. The Mercadonia supermarket is just around the corner, it is very reasonably priced and sold anything we required.

"Wonderful break"
Thank you Andrew and Gillian for use of your villa.
The villa was excellent clean and tidy, and your service could not be better.
We really liked this property. Plenty of nice outdoor-areas, fantastic roof-terrace with views to the atlantic , private parking just outside the door, well equipped kitchen, and really good beds/madrasses - often a rarity at these kind of holidaytrips.
Will be happy to return some day.
Best Regards,
Henrik B. Olsen with dad, Norway.

Our stay in Corralejo
Dear Gillian, dear Andrew,
after 14 days of a beautiful holiday in your house "Villadunas" in
Fuerteventura we would like to thank you for our well organized stay here. The description for reaching the villa was very helpful - our navigation system didn't work for finding the location so we needed your descritption as well. After a short call to Lesley
for our greet and meet she arrived very quickly and soon and she could give us a lot of helpful information just around the villa and
Corralejo. So we felt well prepared for our stay here. One comment for Lesley and also Jim (both of them we called because of some minor tasks here in the villa): Both were very friendly and they gave us all the information / help we needed. They borrowed us
the chip card for using the public pool here in Mirador de las Dunas so we could use it. Jim told us that the possibility to get access to the public pool has been changed and so we needed the chip card to get access to the pool. After our stay here in Villadunas we leave the card in the villa, so Lesley and Jim will get it
back (We spoke with them about this...) Very helpful was also the Beach Booster Set, we did only use the parasol and the beach chairs because we brought a beach tent with us. I Would
like to give you the information that the beach chairs may be exchanged soon because we found them here in a very used condition. They are still useful, but it may be that they will do not
work the whole summer season...
Additionally we bought a second parasol here in Corralejo - as you know we were with five people and the sun here on Fuerteventura is really strong. The beach tent, the second parasol an also one air matress and one beach ball set we left here in your villa - we did just place it at the bicycle stand in the garden of the villa. We think the next guests will have benefit from those tools, too...
In summary we would like to thank you again for our well organized stay here in Villadunas, it was the first time to visit Corralejo for us. So again many friendly greeting from Thomas, Claudia, Laura, Lars and Chris.
Best regards, Thomas
