About this apartment rental
The apartment is located on the mezzanine floor (7 steps) of a noble palace of the 17th century, located in the charming Via San Rufino from which the house takes its name. The apartment has been completely renovated, furnished by me and my family with taste and love, to guarantee every kind of comfort, whether you are in the city of "Francesco" for a weekend, for a holiday or for work. A delightful entrance leads to a large living room equipped with, a double sofa bed (very comfortable), a wonderful and spacious kitchen with exposed beams, which houses a large dining table, and a large sideboard with everything needed for cooking. A windowed bathroom with shower. The bedroom is located on the mezzanine floor, elegant and romantic with wooden ceiling, a large double bed and a beautiful view of the Basilica of Santa Chiara. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, radiators, flat screen televisions, free Wi-Fi. Despite being in the center, and precisely in the pedestrian area, the apartment is very quiet. In the house you will find the oven, the microwave, the refrigerator, the washing machine, the iron, the hair dryer, hair straightener, a large wardrobe, the electric coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, sheets, crockery, linen bath (towels / bathrobes) and all that, can make you feel at home, in what we hope you can consider a cozy little gem in the heart of Assisi Double room on the middle floor with double bed and alternatively on request two single beds. We will welcome you personally and we will be available and available from the first contact. Upon your arrival and during the entire stay. We will provide you with a map of Assisi and logistical information to guide you in the city and we hope to give you excellent suggestions to make your stay unique and unforgettable. Via San Rufino is located in one of the most characteristic and strategic streets of the city, a stone's throw from Piazza del Comune and a few hundred meters from the Basilicas of San Francesco and Santa Chiara. Everything is at your fingertips ... .Bar, Restaurants, Patisseries, Marcket Restaurants, Pharmacies, ATMs, Souvenir Shops ... .. The tourist tax of 1 euro per person per day is to be paid in cash on arrival, does not apply beyond the 3rd consecutive day of stay and minors up to the age of twelve will enter into force from 1. 01. 2018.

We spent a very good three nights here.
We drove, so Simone’s recommendation of the Saba Matteotti parking was helpful. It’s a 5 min walk downhill (uphill on the way back) to the apartment. He provides an Assisi local tourist card that gives you a couple of euros off the daily rate, so €12 a day. We parked in the open air because we missed the ramp down to the covered areas. There are lifts from those to the centre. (We also turned 50m too early into the bus station and incurred the wrath of the local police).
We appreciated the central location - a short step to the sights and many restaurants. There’s a washing machine slightly hidden in a cupboard which we used. It was clean and with a welcome surprise gift. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen area looked reasonably well equipped.
Most of the local restaurants and small shops are closed early afternoon so bear that in mind depending on when you arrive.
We stayed in March so were in the fortunate position of not needing to book any restaurants and just walking in, but would recommend doing so in peak season.
The downstairs TV has an Amazon fire stick so you have Netflix, Prime etc.
There’s aircon downstairs and upstairs for summer and central heating for chillier times.
Simone responds quickly to contact and connected by WhatsApp a few days beforehand.
Our personal view is that 2-3 days are enough as everything is close by.

Apartment was in a very convenient location. Host communicated efficiently and we appreciated his assistance with parking and orientation to the city. Apartment had the basic supplies, which came in handy. The kitchen is a little tight for 4 people to cook in, so we only prepared breakfasts in the apartment. Loved the slippers - Thanks Simone!

The apartment is great and Simone is very communicative and helpful. My wife and I were just unhappy with the cleanliness of the home. It was dusty and unkept. Aside from that, it’s in a great location right in historic Assisi which is beautiful with restaurants and places to sit down to have wine left and right.

This apartment is right in the middle of where you want to be to explore Assisi. It’s right below Piazza San Rufino and right above Piazza del Comune where there are restaurants and shops. You can walk everywhere from here and also get to the bus to the train station easily within 10 minutes. Simone was a wonderful host and this apartment is comfortable and has everything you need.
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Assisi.

This apartment was in a perfect location between the Piazza San Ruffino and Piazza Del Comune. Many great restaurants and shops close by. Comfortable and inviting with everything you need! Simone was a very attentive and gracious host who met us in the square even after many travel delays ( trains ). This was our third trip to Assisi and this was the best location yet! I would recommend it highly. Thank you for a great stay!!

We stayed at Simone’s 17th C one bedroom apartment l in May. It is a lovely property which matches all the photos you can see on the site. Simone provided everything and there are all the kitchen utensils needed if you want to buy food and cook for yourself. The location is brilliant, right in town and close to everything. Assisi is also great for catching the bus to the train station and travelling to other cities like Siena, Florence,Trevi, Spoleto and others. I highly recommend the property.

We loved the comfort of the apartment and location that was walking distance to everything. Be ready to climb a couple steps but the cappuccino machine and wine welcome made everything perfect.

The location was ideal, on a pedestrian only street close to the main piazza (Piazza del Comune). There are many street cafes and restaurants nearby and the main places of interest are easily accessed on foot, bearing in mind it is a hilltop town.
The apartment was very well equipped and many extras are provided (e.g. coffee, tea, oil, vinegar etc.) which was much appreciated. Our host was very helpful and immediately answered any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in such a wonderful historic town.

We came to celebrate our anniversary as well as a spiritual pilgrimage. Simone left us a bottle of wine which was so thoughtful, along with providing us with a discount card for taxis, museums,etc. The very comfortable apartment is located a short walk from Pizza Del Commune with cafes, restaurants, shops,all surrounded by history. Assisi is a sacred, magical place and Simone’s apartment was a perfect place to enjoy it all!

I don’t know how Simone (the owner) could have been any more accommodating. He met us at the car park, helped us with our luggage on the move in to the nicely equipped, very nice apartment. He gave us good advice about restaurants, etc. He met us again and helped us on the move out! Thank you Simone! Highly Recommend!

Amazing space!!
We were extremely happy with everything associated with this rental!! The location was fantastic!! The space was lovely and unique! Our host was considerate and thoughtful! The attention to detail was superb and we didn’t lack anything while there. Simone even surprised us with a bottle of wine since it was our 25th wedding anniversary. We would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect location in the Heart of Assisi!
My husband and I spent six wonderful days in Assisi and throughly enjoyed Simone’s charming apartment! It is a perfect location, near great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Bed linens, soaps and shampoos, and all other provisions were of high-quality. The kitchen is also very well equipped with everything you would need to make your meals at home. We hope to come back again soon- Thank you Simone!

Unvergesslichen Aufenthalt
Beim Check in sehr sehr pünktlich, die Wohnung sehr sehr sauber, Aals Überraschung gab es ein kleines willkommen Geschenk, Obst und kühle Getränke für uns vorbereitet und sehr herzliche Vermieter. Perfekte Lage : sehr nah an der Parkhaus (ca. 5 min) und auch nahe am Zentrum, dennoch sehr ruhig und erholsam. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder zu Simone und Sabrina 🤗😊

A Fantastic Stay in Historic Assisi
We loved our 3 night stay in Simone's apartment. The location could not have been better. The apartment is located right in the heart of the historic center of town. It was quiet while inside but when you stepped outside, you were right near shops and restaurants. Simone was an excellent host. He was friendly and communicated quickly. He gave us all of the information we needed to enjoy our stay in Assisi. He even provided local olive oil, wine and a Christmas ornament. The apartment was warm and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend Simone's place and we loved the quaint town of Assisi.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Assisi
The owner met us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. Simone made sure we were familiar with all of the features of the apartment and the town before leaving us. He even made our dinner reservations. The apartment was thoughtfully furnished and include any item a traveler might need.

He supplied us with a map and gave us some useful tips on exploring Assisi and recommended a few restaurants. He made sure the cab we took back to the train station when we checked out was on time and he then met us to wish us well and gave my wife a very thoughtful send off souvenir.
The apartment was great. It was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and in an absolute perfect location. Complimentary coffee and breakfast biscuits were supplied.
Assisi is absolutely beautiful. We loved our few days there.

The most gracious host I have ever met!
Our 3 day stay in Assisi was flawless - made so much better with this experience, having Simone meet us at the parking lot, the thoughtful touches and welcome basket, and he sat down with us to show us key areas of interest. The apartment is very centrally located and it was easy to slip out for croissants in the early morning, it is well equipped with everything you need and nice and cool. Strongly recommend! P ;-)

Amazing Assissi
Simon's apartment in Assissi is a wonderful, tranquil haven in the middle of one of the most iconic small cities in Italy. Simone's welcome was warm and he was not flustered by our strange time of arrival. The apartment itself is spacious, it has all amenities (and more...) and nobody can ask for better. We will definitely be back.

Perfection in every way.
A beautiful apartment with true character in a wonderful location. Simone met us at the parking lot and helped with luggage gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, we were made to feel truly welcome. The apartment is extremely comfortable with everything one could possibly need provided. The linens, towels and dishes are all of good quality. Furniture very comfortable. The fridge was stocked with milk and yogurt for breakfast, a lovely bottle of wine on the table. Even bath robes were ready and waiting. We have stayed in many apartments in various cities around the world but this one will stand out as among the best. Thank you Simone for your hospitality we would highly recommend your apartment.

Fabulous apartment in a great location
From the time we first met Simone at the entrance to the parking garage (you can’t miss him— he waits at the gate right where you turn in) to the time we left a week later, we thoroughly enjoyed this lovely apartment near the center of Assisi. It exceeded our expectations. There are two grocery stores and several restaurants within a block. And Assisi is a great town to explore on foot.
The apartment was well equipped with towels, soaps, food condiments of all kinds, maps and tour books, a washer (but no dryer as is common in Italy). Bed was very comfortable. Just a note if you have difficulty with stairs, the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom.
Simone and his wife were always available to meet our needs, but also highly respectful of our privacy.
If you have a chance to stay here, do it!

Apartment is charming and beautifully decorated.
We loved our stay here. Simone was very welcoming from the moment he collected us from the airport. The apartment is clean and has many extra touches, including basic food supplies. The bed is comfy and the view from the bedroom window is amazing. The apartment also has a central position so that all the main sites are easily accessible on foot. We will definitely come back!
