The appartement is well equipped with everything you might need. Rooms are spacious and the balcony offers a nice view on the mountains. Location for summer vacation is perfect.
Very soft mattresses might need replacement soon and a couple of electrical curiosities.
Overall very happy with rhe accomodation.

Lovely apartment with amazing view, it was perfect for our family of 5 adults when skiing

Great ski holiday spent as a group of three couples, readily accommodated in the full size bedrooms. The view from the balcony is incredible and perfect for an apres-ski beer in the sunshine. Proximity to the lifts and all that the old town has to offer is great too, with the local boulangerie only a few minutes from the front door!

This was one of the best apartments we have stayed in when skiing. It is on the bottom edge of the resort, so quiet at night, but close to the Bergers chair lift and the ski bus stop. If you want an active nightlife, you might do better nearer the centre or in the Berger area, but there are lots of local restaurants for eating out and a small supermarket and bread shop not far away. This older part of the resort is more attractive than some of the newer development.

We are a family of 5 adults. The apartment was ideal for us, having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a separate kitchen, so it had a lovely, spacious feel. The view from the sunny balcony is amazing! Access to the slopes is very convenient too. It is well furnished and very homely and the owner, Gerry, was very welcoming and helpful.

This is a straightforward simple apartment which is clean and well presented. It has three separate bedrooms, not all that easy to find, and so is ideal for a group not wanting a bunk room, with the added bonus of a separate bathroom and shower room. It has everything you need to self-cater, and the most spectacular views from its southwest facing balcony - perfect for an evening beer watching the sun go down.
Although it's situated at the 'bottom' of the village, it is very close to the centre of town, shops, restaurants, etc. And it is at most a 5 minute walk to the new Alpe Express bubble which whisks you to the bottom of the Marmottes chair. If there's enough snow it's almost ski-in, at worst a 50yd walk from just below the Televillage bubble stop.
Gerry was very helpful with all the arrival and departure info, and helped us out with a last minute travel rearrangement.
Highly recommended for a family or small group.

We spent a wonderful week here as a family. Apartment is very well equipped and spacious in a great location for the ski lifts. Pictures do not do it justice.

Spacious well-kept apartment in a quiet and tidy apartment block.
Very well located for the centre of Vielle Alpe.
Stunning view from balcony - whenever we ate at the apartment, we ate there.
Efficient dishwasher and washing machine were well appreciated.
3 bedrooms, hence one for parents and one each for the young-adult children.
Gerry was a great hostess. Good info in advance; met us at the apartment early the day after arrival (1am local time!) and on hand by Whats App at any time.
Furniture was clean and comfortable. Kitchenware, crockery and cutlery was a slight mish-mash but copious amounts of everything we needed.
If you come for biking, note that there are 5 bike hire places in the resort. All listed in the free book that you can pick up widely around the resort (e.g. at Office du Tourisme, one block up from Les Chanses).
We hired from 3 of them and would be happy to do again from all three.
- Cycle Huez. Run by a British-Aussie couple. Oliver is a keen cyclist and very knowledgeable. We hired cracking road bikes (carbon frame, ultegra groupset) for 40 Euros for one day. To do the road climb of the Alpe. They also do e-MTBs.
- Rocky Sports. Run by locals with good English. Very large selection of quality and well maintained bikes. We hired hardtails one day and Downhill bikes one day. Not cheap, but v good kit.
- Huez Sports. Run by Fabian and his father. Fabian has good English and a small discount for knowing Gerry! Not such a wide range of bikes. We hired downhill bikes for 2.5 days. Slightly older bikes than Rocky Sports but functionally maintained and Fabian was obliging and swift to fit a saddle with a shorter post so that one of my son's had an ideal fit. 65 Euros a day as opposed to 80 Euros at Rocky Sport.

We've had an excellent skiing holiday in this nice apartment. The property was bright, warm, clean, well equipped and well maintained and exactly as described. All the flats in this block are well insulated/sound proofed as we did not hear much from surrounding neighbours, all peace and quiet. The storage box for ski's was on the same, ground floor, level which is convenient. The view from the sitting room and balcony, overlooking the valley and the surrounding mountain peaks is magnificent. The kitchen has everything you need and the furniture is basic but comfortable. A small grocery shop and a bakery are at walking distance, so are the lifts or buss up to the slopes. UK Satelite television, as well as local french tv and wifi are available which is an added bonus! I would most certainly recommend this place. ·

Stayed in this apartment with some friends last winter. A really nice apartment with all the facilities you want, well presented and clean. Fantastic views from bedroom and sitting room. Very easy to find even after a long overnight drive! Short walk to the bus or lift to reach the piste and skied back to less than 100 yds away from the front door. Quick walk to bars and restaurants, and the baker for morning croissant. Already booked for next winter..
