This was a fun stay for the night in a unique location.

the location within 10 minutes walk of what you could call 'city centre' and about 25 mins stroll to the beautiful old city. the view is incredible and the house itself unique in its rooftop position. The host is really lovely - kind and helpful - sent me some suggestions of restaurants and places to visit on our night in the city. we were able to park our car at no cost in the parking about 2 minutes walk away arranged with the host in advance. Didn't go to the beach but I could see what looked like a really respectable one about 5-10 mins walk away.

air conditioning blew on to one of the beds in the livingroom area meaning that person was cold in order to ensure everyone else wasn't too hot. simple solution would be to provide blankets for the beds to guests have some options.

The view from the apartment

Basically the apartment is a old laundry house on the top of the building that was “adjusted” to be an apartment. The building is old and the elevator is really tiny.

Owner of the apartment was very friendly and helpful. Very clean room and very good location in Kavala, you are in the centre of Kavala and can see castle, see view amazing. I highly recommend to visitors who want to travel to Kavala

Pleasant stay in Kavala!!

Location was ok . Very nice view .Parking area close to the room

Air conditioning not installed in the right place The bedroom was very hot but due to business purposes all day long we were out of the apartment. Elevator was very annoying (when we were sitting at the outside area, you could hear the very strong noise).

Way too overrated…poor management…cleaning problem

First of all I liked the view, the building is located close to the sea and you have a beautiful view over the old town and the golf, also the location is close enough (500-800meters) to the harbor area where you will find many restaurants and bars. The main bed was comfortable and you have a beautiful view of old town directly from the bed. The parking spot is just around the corner and is free (for Diamond View) and is guarded.

We chose this facility for great reviews and 9,8 rate stars in 2020…I don’t know what’s happened in one year but I can tell you this is way too overrated. We come after two weeks around Greece and this is by far the worst experience…in fact it was the only unpleasant experience. The “apartament” is in fact a modified laundry room placed on top of the building with terrace access. The extension part (basically the bedroom) is surrounded by windows (like a greenhouse) and you have beautiful view but also the sun is heating the room all the day and during the night, the accumulated heat, is suffocating…so the air conditioning must be on all the time (day and night). This is not a problem over the day but during the night can be a problem if you need to use sofa for sleeping. That’s because the AC is blowing cold air directly to it. We booked this accommodation for four people and we ended up sleeping three person in main bed and one in single bed….in my opinion this facility is for maximum three people (four if one of the children will sleep with parents in the main bed) On the terrace you will find two sun beds oriented to the golf/sunset view and you can relax after a hot sunny day…all good but…at just two meters away is a ventilation window of the elevator room and you will hear the noise of the electric engine, contractors, and other unpleasant sounds and…smells…yes smells…from time to time you will feel an unpleasant heavy smell coming from elevator “tunnel”. Another unfortunate thing is that if you stay lying on sun bed and try to enjoy the view you will find that the railing is quite thick and the view is almost entirely blocked (this can be fixed with a glass panel instead a metal railing) I let to the final the most unpleasant part…the entire facility seems to be careless. All plates are chipped…all not just one.

Perfect apartment for lazy days in Kavala city

We enjoyed this place much. This is not a place just to sleep at, but a place to spend some times sitting at the huge balcony during the evening, or you can just lay on the double bed watching the city from the big windows. It is big with an equipped kitchen. The sheets smelled so nice.

Some details can be taken care of to give the guest the perfect experience. A curtain in the bedroom would be nice so it can be darker in the morning. There is warm water but not so much pressure in the spa shower if you want the water hot, but if it is colder then the pressure is ok. So I couldn’t use the shower in the way I wanted to enjoy it . I am sure this can be adjust. Overall a great place and I would stay here again!
