Hotel/Apartments in Top-Lage, sauber, modern, frdl.

Top-Lage am Rand der Altstadt, sehr gut mit Tram erreichbar, großes Apartment, riesiges, sehr bequemes Bett, schöner Garten-Ausblick ab 3. Etage, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter

Trotz Zusage, Apartment wieder in 4. Etage zu bekommen, war die 1. Etage reserviert worden. Zum Glück konnte die Mitarbeiterin noch tauschen und ich wurde immerhin noch in die 3. Etage gebucht. Ausstattung der Küche ist mager, aber an der Rezeption ist man behilflich (z.B. mit dem Wasserkocher, Geschirrtuch etc.). Mit etwas Aufwand könnte man den Safe vom Schrankboden in Augenhöhe setzen; dann müsste man sich nicht hinknien.

Good for peaceful stays, healthy breakfast options and good staff

Well behaved flexible staff. Health breakfast. Silent room and privacy.

Tv was not accepting the mirroring, not a big deal for me. Shower and toilet area were separate, I like them together since I do all my stuff in one go. I would have liked more toiletries.

Świetna lokalizacja - bliskość starówki - można przejść do niej na nogach, bliskość komunikacji - przystanku tramwajowego i autobusowego, z przystanku autobusowego dobre i krótkie połączenie z dworcem, a z dworca na lotnisko, czystość pokoju, smaczne, choć mało urozmaicone śniadania, pokój i widok z jego okna.

Personel w recepcji nie zawsze zorientowany w podstawowych sprawach, zamykanie recepcji i baru przy recepcji - przed godz. 21.00, a w niedzielę - przed godz.17 -tą, brak wytrawnego wina w barze przy recepcji, pokój od strony ulicy - słychać tramwaj, który głośno jeździ, w nocy też, w pokoju rodzinnym płyta kuchenna z brakiem garnków, sztućców itp, brak czajnika na herbatę w pokoju - tylko ekspres do kawy, z którego można uzyskać tylko niewielką ilość wrzątku.

Nothing like this has ever happened to me before

Nicely located in a beautiful neighbourhood, clean and the room was equipped with some extras (coffee, flipflops)

We arrived in the evening with no possibility to enter the hotel and had to check in at the neighbouring hotel (we assumed it belongs to the same chain and the instructions left on the entrance were not 100% clear). After finally arriving at the door of our room, it turned out that it was already occupied by someone else. Yes, we entered the room while someone was there already enjoying their evening. And this meant another trip to the reception. We were offered a gesture for the inconvenience - a room upgrade to a room with facilities for people with disability.

Moderne Ausstattung, top saniertes Badezimmer, echt geschmackvoll gemacht, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gute Lage, sehr gut sortierte Minibar in einem riesigen Kühlschrank

Top Kaffeemaschine aber Wasserkocher fehlt. Top Kühlschrank und Ceranfeldherd, aber kein einziger Topf und kein Besteck. Das ist schade.

Komfortables Zuhause in Basel

Kenne das Set Hotel von mehreren Besuchen. Es liegt in sehr schöner altstadtnaher Lage (6 min zum Marktplatz, direkt angebunden an ÖPNV). Ich finde die Qualität konstant sehr hoch. Buche es wegen der modernen Gesamtatmosphäre, der großen, sehr hellen Zimmer mit modern-wohnlicher Einrichtung und (reduzierter) Küchenzeile. Alle Staff-Mitglieder sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend -auch wenn diesmal zwei Kleinigkeiten nicht gleich geklappt haben sind alle bemüht sofort Abhilfe zu schaffen.

Super comfortable and quiet stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at SET Hotel.Residence by Teufelhof Basel. The room was fantastic! It was so quiet and comfortable and such a joy to come back to in the evenings after a long day exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel centrale, semplice ma completo, scomoda la colazione.

Struttura centrale, nei pressi dei mercatini di Natale. Ben collegata all’aeroporto (tram 3 + bus 50 di fronte alla struttura). Gratuito l’uso della macchinetta del caffè e la bottiglia di acqua. Le camere sono essenziali ma dotate di tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. Buona la pulizia.

Il costo è elevato come in tante strutture svizzere; considerando la qualità globale (che è inferiore alla categoria 4 stelle italiane) avrei a questo punto optato per una categoria inferiore. La colazione viene servita all’esterno della struttura e pertanto è scomodo soprattutto in inverno. C’è però possibilità di richiedere un caffè (macchinetta automatica) e un cornetto al bar della struttura. Il bagno è diviso in due parti (in una c’è wc e lavandino e in un’altra la doccia con un altro lavandino). Questo può essere svantaggioso su alcuni punti di vista.

Fab location but need ear plugs. So noisy

Location was great, 5 min walk to most places to want to be including the Xmas markets. Spacious room and heating worked well.

You need ear plugs for to stay at this property and have a good night sleep. There is zero sound proofing, can hear next doors TV or even when they use a plug socket and upstairs sounded like elephants banging around for hours. The corridors outside the rooms is also concrete not carpet so you can hear everything, wheel suitcases, housekeeping trolleys etc. so so loud. Housekeeping also keep knocking whether you have the do not disturb sign on the door or not and not consistent eg coffees and sugars not replaced after being used sometimes etc. Smart tv only connects to Samsung phones not iPhone, not a major deal but would be nice to have.

Sehr hellhörige Zimmer. Bad im Verhältnis zur Zimmergröße zu klein. Extrem kühles Design. Muss man mögen. Personal nicht sehr gesprächig.

A comfortable stay

The hotel room was great, the staff very helpful. Very clean and good, comfortable bed.

Fantastic location, exactly what you want from a city stay hotel

Location excellent. Breakfast good, not fantastic. Staff at SET great and a good little onsite bakery/patisserie with really good coffee. Clean rooms, not overly fancy but everything you need for a city stay.

I wouldn't choose the attic rooms again, very big dormer!!

Excellent Basel Accommodations. Wonderful service in historic location with modern amenities.

Amazing all around experience. Wonderful service and value. Location is superb and rooms very comfortable. Daily room service, free e-bikes and access to a rental car. The restaurant Atelier is excellent and worth the price. Breakfast Crew very attentive and pleasant.

Very clean.

I thought I booked with free breakfast. The reception sent us to the breakfast telling us our breakfast was free. It wasn’t and it cost us $135 for 4 breakfasts and 2 colas.

Perfect break at an extremely comfortable and well placed hotel.

The location is perfect. Located in the old town so perfect for getting around. The bus and tram stops very close too.

Better instruction of checking in as we arrived after 9.00 pm. We checked in at the main hotel opposite, but it took us time to work out this is what we had to do.

lovely room and lovely setting.

I had a great room - more like an apartment than a hotel room. The staff were great and there was a tram stop right outside. The hotel is next to the music school and there were some lovely sounds coming from there in the afternoons.
