Really nice b&b close to the beach and amenities

Very nice rooms, big beds, every room has its own terrace with a table where you eat breakfast. There are nice cosy common areas outside as well. Very close to the beach, right in front. The owner also allowed us to stay a bit longer as the room was not booked for the following night to shower after the beach and collect bags.

Super séjour, super hôte, super logement

Nous avons passé un court séjour à Mkadi Beach House, qui était super ! Juliane, l'hôte, est très sympathique et particulièrement arrangeante. Les chambres sont propres et confortables. Le logement est plutôt bien situé. Je recommande!

Lovely place!

Such a lovely place run by a lovely family! They took care of us so good! Helped us with everything from good places to eat -to good places to go (and hidden gems). They also took us out on their new traditional sailing boat for sunset. Which I can really recommend as a super good alternative to the loud and crowded sunset trips you can book on the beach. The place is just a few steps from the beach on the quiet part with only couple of hundred meters to good restaurants.

Everything was impeccably clean, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, they even have protection against mosquitoes, which was our salvation, air conditioning, fan, everything was available

Everything was great except the staff. Whenever we went on day trips, there was always a race with breakfast, it also happened that we didn't get the breakfast that was included in the price because the guy decided to sleep

Overall the say was superb, fresh fruits with panckakes every morning for breakfast, clean rooms.

The rooms were comfortable enough for family with kids, the area in front of the rooms was sandy with comfortable sofas and tables so you can have some dinner or a drink outside.

The breakfast could have been served faster.

Great stay in Nungwi!

We had such an amazing time at the Mkadi Beach House. Juliane and her family welcomed us with open arms. Juliane did many extra things for us, for example helped us to book a snorkelling tour, taxi, informed us about Zanzibar and gave us recommendations etc. All recommendations she had were of equally high quality as the hotel the family runs. Very clean rooms, good Wi-Fi, breakfast served on a little private terrace in front of our room. The hotel were placed just a few meters from the beach with a lots of food options around. We loved our stay at Mkadi Beach House, and much because of how friendly the Mkadi family were to us. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in Zanzibar staying at Mkadi Beach House.

Lovely little bed and breakfast just thirty steps from Nungwi beach. Very friendly and service minded staff. The owners made us feel very welcome and had a lot of information and suggestions about what to do and where to eat, etc.

Great location. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

The place is perfectly located. Just 100 meters to the beach. One can just walk barefoot. There are very close by restaurants and shops, but at the same the place is very quiet. The landlady is super friendly and helpful and can give tons of advice. The room is cozy and good for a small family. Breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits, jam, toasts, and cooked eggs.

Exciting vacations

Juliane and Machano our hosts were awesome! They are the proof that kind and good people still exist in the world and we have to value them. I will strongly recommend you to go there and you won't be disappointed at all. For people we didn't knew before, it was like we are friend for years and they've make our stay at Nungwi a total success. Please don't hesitate to stay there when you go to Nungwi!

We stayed here four nights and we loved it, specially for the location (less than 60 seconds from your bed)

Location, friendly staff and the breakfast (the taste of the fruits was the best). We are vegans and they made us vegan pancakes that were really good

Just a minor thing, the bed was a bit noisy.

It could not be better

We really enjoyed being at the mkadi beach house! Everything was so beautiful and well organized. Furthermore the owners were so kind and helpfull. Also the beach was very close to the accomodation, which we loved.

We stayed in Mkadi Beach House during our stay in Nungwi and really enjoyed it! The owners are so friendly and helpful. They took a lot of time to recommend us different places, depending on what we were interested in. Juliane even booked us the tours for fair prices and told us about the touristic traps. Even after leaving Nungwi, Juliane booked us taxis for good prices in Stonetown and Paje and gave us advice in what trips we could do:) Also breakfast was great, as you can order pancakes and eggs and get fresh fruit plates for every person. We can only recommend the Mkadi Beach House! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Like your own tropical home. Cozy, clean, friendly. Loved it!

Superb place! Juliane is a really attentive host and the whole staff is friendly, always there to help you. We arrived in the night and there was no problem to check in at 3 am, we were welcomed warmly. Location is 10+, just few steps to the beach, shops, restaurants. We loved to sit at the terrace, where also the breakfast was served. I recommend it big time to everyone.
