Great location. Great host.
Quality of towels could be better please.

The location was super. Instructions were very clear regarding the entry to the unit as it could be very tricky. We liked the added touch of beach towels and sunscreen. Although we didn't use it, they offered drinking water, coffee, tea and instant oatmeal. Also, there is a nice sized dresser.
Parking sucked!!!! There is a ball field across the street that was used until late at night. It took circling the blocks up to 5 times in order to park. We had to take our shoes off before entering the unit which is fine if you're wearing flip flops. However, tennis shoes is a pain especially when your hands are full. The bath towels were super thin and small. The tv is confusing to use. It took a long time to figure out how to stream and we couldn't watch basic TV.

The property was safe is OK
Didn’t like the parking because they have a baseball field across the street and there’s no parking at the park like a block two blocks away at times

tiny, but everything you need
price could be lower but it’s San Diego, so you have to be aware

Easy check-in, everything there as described, nicely located
The shower could have been cleaner and I really did not like the towels.. they were too soft and almost sticky. I would have preferred some regular frottee towels

everything met expectations other than cleanliness of the room. the location is great and otherwise a comfortable stay.
carpets need to be cleaned and surfaces need to be dusted. there was a fan in the room with what was clearly months of dust accumulation caked on it.

Great location right off a busy street. Maybe 5 minute walk until you hit some bars, a little over 15 minute walk to the beach. Host was kind enough to let us check in early as well. The room is as described: a converted room that serves as a suite for 1-2 travelers. You have a private bath, mini fridge, microwave, dresser, small TV, and few other amenities for your stay. PB is also a good home base if you're looking to explore lots of different areas as everything is mostly within a 20 minute drive (torrey pines, la jolla, gaslamp, balboa park, etc).
There was a bit of a damp smell throughout our stay, maybe from someone leaving things to dry on the furniture before we came. There are places in the bathroom to hang your wet clothes & such, so hopefully it was an isolated incident!

Owner is awesome. Place was perfect

Absolutely exceeded my expectations. The photos don't do justice of the place. The instructions on how to get to the room were pretty easy to follow and the room was much better than the photos posted. Looked great, super clean, spacious etc. Couldn't ask for a better stay. 11/10
I was a little worried about this trip initially because I only got instructions on how to get in the room a few days prior my reservation (maybe like 2 days prior?) and I tried calling the host many times without success -- it went to the voicemail everytime. Also, I tried sending a message but the link wasn't working on the website. Having said this, I think this "problem" is mainly a booking.com's fault than it is the hosts. They should make sure their website works fully and incentive the host to get in touch with the guests. I used quotes on the word problem because I had zero issues on getting in the room, but I was travelling by myself and it was a little insettling until I got there.

Location was perfect and the patio table and chair great for some working in fresh air.
Would be a plus if the fridge worked.
