Just one block off of Main Street's shopping, dining, museums and tasting rooms. Sleeping 10, the house is the perfect place for your family or girls group to call home while visiting Fredericksburg! The backyard has a custom fire pit and lots of seating to enjoy the outdoors with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. A group of us gathered together from across Texas to reunite and celebrate our birthdays! Friends for over 30 years and never a dull Monet when we are together! The house was great and well maintained. We enjoyed the backyard with the firepit. We also liked being able to walk to Main Street and have dinner and wine tastings. The location makes it easy to tour the vineyards down the way, too! A few things need some attention (door knob for one bathroom was broken, which meant no door knob, and one drawer in the other bathroom had a broken handle)…. The owner was easy to communicate with. Overall, we would highly recommend this property for gatherings, families, and fun!

This house was perfect for 6 adults! It is close to town (definitely walkable), had plenty of beds, and comfortable seating in the living room. We didn’t use it but, it has an adorable outside space that would be perfect for hanging out. Would recommend and would definitely book again.

This was a great property in a convenient location. The cleanliness of bathrooms and kitchen was outstanding. This was a perfect size for our group of four. We all had our own personal space to retreat to at bedtime after fun-filled days of eating, shopping, visiting wineries, and sharing memories of our college days.

The location was perfect for us, especially if your last stop of the night is Velvet Lounge! I loved the idea of the camera supplied, but it was out of film so we didn’t get to leave our mark with the rest of them. The master bed was super comfy! We had a party of 10 originally and 4 cancelled and I don’t know if 10 adults that are couples could have really slept comfortably since two beds were twins. As we were leaving we did notice an air mattress and realized we had a sleeper sofa so it would have worked. All in all, we loved it!

Loved this booking. So comfy, so roomy, fun vibes all around including a nice patio to host a fun cocktail night with the ladies. Location was literally walking distance to the Main Street of all the fun boutiques and bars. Would definitely book again soon.

We stayed at this lovely home in October for a college roommate reunion. There were 8 of us and we had lots of room! The home was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms were well furnished. The backyard was large with plenty of seating. It even had a fire pit that we used each night. The location was perfect with only a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops, and bars. Chris, the owner, was easy to get in touch with-he even had a sweet note ready to welcome us with a bottle of wine. Thank you, Chris!

We did a family trip and scheduled a tour for the winery. Everything was so close by! We walked everywhere. The house is also beautiful! We used the patio a lot! Great place to stay!

This property was very nice! It’s an easy walk to downtown, nice dinner table & living area so a group of 7 could easily gather in evenings. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard. I’d stay here again if I return to Fredericksburg, a lovely town!

The house is located on the edge of downtown walking distance to the shops and restaurants. It was very clean and a charming house. The backyard was a big hit with the kids (ages 9-14). Chris (the property manager) replied very quickly. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This house was so beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for 9 of us without feeling like we were on top of each other and the location was perfect. The only reason I didn't give the full five stars is because the bathroom doors need some repair and I had to make a run to the store for trash bags. The listing also stated that there was a fire pit and that fire wood and starters would be supplied but upon arrival I was told I would have to go purchase the supplies myself. Overall, a wonderfully fun stay! I would definitely rebook this house.

We had such a great experience at The Sapphire Door! Everything was clean and ready for us at check in. The beds were super comfortable. The location was amazing! We walked to Main Street everyday. The backyard is also amazing! We loved sitting outside in the evenings and enjoying the nice weather. We realized very late the first night that we didn’t have any hot water. I called Chris first thing the next morning and he immediately had someone out to come fix the hot water heater. Luckily it was an easy fix and we had hot water within minutes! Great customer service! We will definitely be back!
