A very comfortable hotel in a nice downtown location.

Very welcoming! Clean and dog friendly! Everything in good working order. The bed was really comfortable.

Parking is a little awkward.

Phenomenal customer service and accommodations!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. The staff was exceptional. Friendly, accommodating, professional. They made our stay feel like home. The room was spacious with modern finishes. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean and crisp. We loved the walk in tiled shower. The hotel itself retained its historic beauty with a modern twist. Every single staff member we came into contact with was fabulous. It was so nice being able to travel with our dog. You wouldn’t even know the rooms are dog friendly because everything was so clean and there were zero traces of pets as far as smell or accident remnants. The hotel is situated in a great location. Plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within a very short walking distance. We loved this place and will be back!

Brief wait for room at check in, rooms were not ready.

Superb

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the location was in a nice part of the city with shops and restaurants nearby.

The valet parking was an issue. There wasn't enough space for us to even leave our car so we had to park it around the corner and give the valet the key with hopes he would move it. The next morning the valet walked around the neighborhood clicking our car key trying to find where they put our car so they clearly didn't put it in the lot around the corner where we had expected it to go.

Not pleasing

We paid for a king room but received a Queen. We had only one towel and all the coffee was decaf. The parking was a long way off and the bed was not very comfortable.

The first night was great, the second night was disappointing

The property was beautiful and well maintained

There was a party in the room next to us and the staff did nothing to shut it down. I got zero sleep.

Staff was friendly and the room was nice and also clean.

We paid $15 each for breakfast when we booked but then only received a voucher for $20 off our breakfast bill (instead of the $30 we paid in advance). That makes no sense at all. Additionally, we had to pay for valet parking despite we parked our car ourselves on the street. These are just gouging tactics and quite annoying - hence the low rating despite the staff and room being nice. We were in a hurry and tired so I didn't bring these issues up with the manager at the time.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

The hotel was very clean with lovely mid-mod decor in a great location. The waitstaff was friendly and the apps we had at the on-site restaurant were delicious. I'm a fairly light sleeper and can be picky about mattresses and pillows but I found theirs to be extremely comfortable and I slept very well both nights. There are tons of great restaurants and bars nearby and we were able to walk to most of our destinations.

I would've liked to know ahead of time that the rooms don't have a fridge, microwave, etc. We also had to ask for more than one towel and there is only bar soap. These aren't dealbreakers for me but I would have planned accordingly if I'd known. I was also disappointed that they don't ever seem to offer late check-outs so we had to haul our things to our car (parked nearby in a separate garage for $14/day) the morning of our last day.

Modern and stylish hotel, helpful staff, good value for money.

A stylish, modern hotel. Centrally located in Winston Salem. Helpful staff. Housekeeping team particularly cheerful and generous with fresh towels etc. Good value for money. Having stayed in a few hotels in WS this is certainly top of the list and I would definitely recommend.

Difficult to find fault with this hotel.
