The house is a short walk to downtown Louisville with lots of options for food and beverages. There's a farmers' market on Saturdays very close. The street is very quiet with plenty of parking. The garden is beautiful. The only downside for us older travelers is that the second bedroom is downstairs and both bathrooms are upstairs.

House was immaculate, good heating, plenty of hot water, kitchen bright and sunny, well stocked with coffee makers, dishwasher, refrigerator and dishes. Convenient to downtown Louisville and restaurants. Basement bedrooms were cool and quiet and we made use of the space heater a few nights. Very Convenient to have a washer and dryer. Would stay there again, and would like to see the gardens when they are not dormant.

The inside of the house was identical to all online photo's. The attention to detail and design of each room was top notch. The house was clean and neat. Bedding was perfect for the below freezing nights we had.
I messaged Karla, the owner, prior to our arrival stating we would be arriving after dark. She was kind and left inside and outside lights on for us. EVERYTHING you need is included in the house. The only items to bring would be personal toiletries and food. The house is short walking distance to Historic Downtown Louisville; such a great small town and the Farmers Market on Saturdays from May-October is not to be missed.
I'm hopeful the house will be available again the next time we visit our son and family.

Area, awesome!! Property ok
Trouble getting in, code didnt work but owner came to our rescue promptly. Once inside, kind of quirky configuration of rooms. Main bedroom has entrance to both bathrooms! Second bedroom is in basement < which wasnt disclosed.Outdoor garden area was really nice. our biggest issue was the cleanliness(or lack of) in the bedding department . Without going into detail .......not good. The area is awesome. Lovely town and easy access to lots of beautiful activities

Cute house, nice town, close to Boulder & Estes Park
We particularly liked that we could walk to downtown Louisville (nice restaurants & shops); the entire town is quite walkable, with many interesting homes. Boulder's Chautauqua Park is wonderful, with many trails of low to moderate intensity. Sufficient kitchen ware & appliances, tho no microwave. There are great books to read, and the artwork inside and outside is interesting, plus the front porch and swing was appreciated. The owner gave us tips for keeping the inside temperature cool (mostly 85° outside when we stayed), and was very available for help with anything. One other problem was a nearby freight train's very loud horn in the early hours of night.

Lovely garden and house
We enjoyed our stay in Louisville. It was just a short walk to downtown. There was a lovely organic garden where we enjoyed our breakfast every day.

Great location, comfortable cottage
We stayed here while our son was recovering from surgery. Nice, simple cottage--convenient location.Grocery store and drugstore just up the road 5 minutes at most; access to miles of community walking/biking trails right across the street. Nice neighborhood. Place has nice outdoor garden eating//relaxing area and front porch swing.. Accommodations very clean, if simply furnished.. Great internet connection. TV has basic cable and HBO--it is "firestick compatible", so you can bring your own if desired. Owner easy to work with. We made a few suggestions for n=upgrades to make things en more comfortable We purchased the VRBO insurance instead of pauying the $2, 000 damage refundable fee. All in all, a simple, but adequate cottage in a good location at a good price. We had pretty much all that we needed., and Karla was easy to work with. Would definitely look to stay herre agin should circumstances wrrant it!!
