位置好，距离海滩很近，一条马路相隔，很安静，海景房可以看到美丽的日落美景，可惜我们入住时下大雨。

Номера очень большие. Брали номер с видом на море и балконом (номер 201). В комнате телевизор, холодильник, чайник, чайный набор. Очень удобный матрац и подушки. Есть кондиционер и вентилятор. Душевая очень просторная. В номере приятно пахнет после уборки. Персонал очень обходительный, в любое время суток готовы помочь и выполнить любую просьбу. Завтраки мы не брали, не могу сказать, насколько они хороши. Но сам отель превзошел все наши ожидания.

Все было отлично.

Naja und Meerblick lohnt nicht

Großes Zimmer und großes Bad, alles sauber

Wir hatten einen Aufpreis für Meerblick bezahlt, die geworbenen Fotos dazu waren aber sehr vorteilhaft fotografiert und wahrscheinlich auch aus den höherliegenden Stockwerken gemacht. Wir konnten das Meer nur hinter einem hässlichen Haus sehen (Bild anbei) und finden den Aufpreis nicht gerechtfertigt. An sich ist alles ok gewesen, aber nicht mehr. wir hatten in Sri Lanka deutlich bessere (teils private) Unterkünfte für weniger Geld. Der nächste Strandabschnitt ist auch nicht gerade der schönste dort und die Straße ist trotzdem recht laut.

I recommend it

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean, including the bedsheets and the towels. The breakfast was rich and tasy. Also, the location is close to the beach and restaurants.

Was a bit noisy due to the train tracks and the main road.

Wonderful place to stay

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Spacious and comfortable shower. Almost just across the street from the beach. The ocean view from the room was amazing. The staff is really sweet.

easy access to beach. very good and friendly staff.

room view was not as on pictures on booking.com. Breakfirst wasnt able to buy at property and we had pay our bill at the first day because they asked for it.

Хорошее месторасположение. Просторные и чистые номера. Предоставили паркинг для машины. Персонал дружелюбный, пытается помочь. Давали полотенца для пляжа. Только не давайте им гладить одежду, они не умеют. Нам немного сожгли платье жены)) а так дали и утюг и доску гладильную

Really Nice and clean place, staff was helpful, specially Ms. Isha with English speaking skills

Very Clean, more than i was expecting in Hikkaduwa, I spotted few Spiders and few flies in room, but No Lizards or that type of insects, which are very common in Hikkaduwa, Overall Place was Excellent

My Room TV didn't work during my stay, but its not a big deal, I was not there for TV

Отлично провели 12 ночей, очень вежливый и внимательный персонал, делали уборку постоянно, вода чай кофе, меняли полотенца, всем привет и наша благодарность!))) Рядом вокруг разные пляжи, магазины, рестораны всё под рукой)))

Близко железная дорога, но зато будильник не нужен был на рассвете)))

Прекрасный отель за свои деньги!

Жили в Chaaya Inn с 8 по 11 октября 2023. Прекрасный отель, очень приветливый персонал! Отличное соотношение цена-качество. Это был наш первый отель на Шри-Ланке и уже потом мы окончательно поняли, как нам повезло. Встретили с холодными полотенцами и напитками. Номер бронировали с видом на море. Сначала поселили на 3-ем, там вид был похуже, чем на фото номера, попросили переселить. Оказалось на 4 не поселили из-за того, что на стене в коридоре номера и на потолке есть подтеки - протекало во время сильного дождя. Нас не смутило. Дожди ночью сильные были, ничего не протекало. Номер на 4 этаже полностью соответствует фото. Учитывайте, что лифта нет. В номере чисто, уходишь на завтрак и возвращаешься в убранный номер. Дают по литровой бутылке воды в день на человека. В душе есть шампунь и гель для душа. Горячая вода, хороший напор, не исчезает через время (в другом отеле минут через 10 начинала идти прохладная). Но, мы были в не сезон, и два дня в отеле мы жили одни) в сезон ситуация может быть другой. Один раз отключали электричество днем на несколько часов, но оказалось, что это во всем городе, был ремонт линий электропередач. Горячей воды в это время тоже нет, тк не работает нагреватель. Завтрак брали 1 раз, 6$ на чел. Фруктовая тарелка, омлет, 2 спринг ролла с овощами, 2 блинчика с кокосом, тосты, джем, масло. Фреш и чай/кофе. До моря минут 5, до пляжа с черепахами - 10. Будьте осторожны, много желающих на вас заработать «показать где черепахи», продать водоросли для их кормления и тд. До черепах идти минут 5, заранее можно посмотреть по карте, не потеряетесь) водоросли можно самим набрать там рядом. Мы уходили дальше по берегу (минут 20-30) находили место где никого нет. Волны сильные, поплавать не получится, но попрыгать на волнах - отлично) или покататься на серфе, предложений много.

Good location. Close to the beach and not so noisy as the first line hotels. Really friendly and helpful staff. No any problem with refrigerator and air-condition.

Nice but should be even cheaper during the low season.

Nice view: one half of the window for ocean, another half (and balcony) - for building under construction. Nice shower, nice bed. A/C with ceiling fan works great

Water cooler only on the ground floor. They don't serve breakfast during the low season. You can hear music at night and trains.

The chaaya inn hotel is really highly recommended for a longer stay! The rooms are very nice and especially cool, because of the top functioning air conditioning. It was very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was very friendly, from water to restaurant tips there was everything! In addition, the relationship was very uncomplicated and each of our wishes were fulfilled. We like to come back and can only recommend to book this hotel.

Great spacious room with a good view from the balcony

This was a great room; large and comfortable bed (not too hard as a reviewer thought) in a large room with a sizeable fridge which was switched on even when you left the room, and with comfortable seating as well as a good balcony with deckchairs and a table. We enjoyed the view. You just had to stand in a way to shield the ugly building in front! The location good and in close proximity to two beaches even though the beaches themselves were pretty small and very uninspiring.

We prefer breakfast being included even though you could have it and pay extra.

Modern rooms with a great view if you are on the last two floors. Even if there ist the main road kinda close by you couldn't hear it when you close the windows.

There was no option for breakfast at the room.

The beach was nice, but this hotel was stupid and inflexible.

The staff were inflexible. We paid for a sea view room and instead received a "mouldy black building view.". When we complained that our view of the sea was obfuscated by a run down crack den and requested we be moved to the room directly above us (so we could see above it to the ocean), they told us they would charge additionally to fulfill the promise of the "sea view" for which we paid. (See the view we had in the attached picture.)

Great breakfast, nice location

We liked the breakfast: not only what we had in other hotels (toast, fruit, egg in some form, pancake, drinks) but also some specific Sri Lankan food. The location was great: in between turtle beach and the snorkeling area. All in walking distance. Staff: very friendly, always willing to help. Room: large enough and clean.

Breakfast was served starting 8.30am. This was a bit late for us as our children (4 and 7) woke up around 6am so we had 2.5h to entertain them. We solved this by first going to turtle beach and then having breakfast.
