Delightful overnight stay. Host was very pleasant and met me on arrival.
The tiny cottage is clean, roomy, rustic, windows looking out onto charming autumnal grounds. The French decor makes a pleasant change. Well equipped with and array of continental breakfast foods.
Very pleasant

We absolutely loved this cottage.! It had everything, which included a bottle of wine and breakfast supplied. And even though it was close to the owners house we were obviously treated to our own privacy with a beautiful garden as a backdrop. Highly recommend this property..totally awesome. Would definitely come back.

The house was adequate. We were impressed with the coolness. The cafe was nice to have so close. All in all good value.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage situated in a beautiful garden. It had everything we needed. A comfortable bed, great breakfast provisions, coffee and a welcome bottle of wine. Bruce was a friendly host and gave us some great tips on where to go for dinner. The location provided easy access to Cambridge town and Lake Karapiro were we were attending an event. We liked feeling like we were in the country but were close to town.

The pictures were not up to date. The room had cobwebs. The only table in the place was less than 3 feet across a cafe set. The landlord had most of the storage places full so we had to live out of our suitcases for the week with no place but the floor to put them. Only a microwave in kitchen. The goods provided for breakfast were very good the bed was great. The place was hard to find as the sign and the driveway was grown in. The security was poor as windows and doors had only old (almost locks.) Landlord was great.

Comfortable digs. Didn’t realise no WiFi until we got there but no big problem. Well stocked with food.

Comfortable cottage on the edge of Cambridge by car, for our overnight stay. Bruce gave us a friendly welcome and tour, and a friendly farewell the next morning. There are treats provided, which add to the sense of welcome. If we were in Cambridge, we’d consider this cottage again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight getaway. Loved the privacy, peace and tranquility. Would have loved an outside table to sit amongst the garden to eat a meal or read the paper. Having breakfast and coffee available was a real bonus. Maybe next rime will ask to checkin at 3pm and check out at 10. Thanks so much Bruce.

Cute cottage retreat with magical garden location. We stayed over a long weekend and enjoyed the cosy cottage which was warm and dry on a very wet weekend. The cottage had more than everything we needed and was close to Saint Peters College. Owners went above and beyond to ensure the cottage was clean and comfortable.

It was great to be only 5mins out of Cambridge CBD but feel like we had escaped everything. Wonderful waking up to birdsong. Bruce is very accommodating and quick with responses at very short notice.

Lovely private cottage, very comfortable and cozy with great breakfast & extra treats. The electric blankets and heater on arrival were perfect for a late night arrival, and the Red Cherry coffee options (espresso pods and french press) from the onsite roastery were awesome. Thanks Bruce & Marilyn (and the family) for a great stay in Cambridge!

Awesome little cottage. Facilities as described, owner/manager was friendly and little unexpected extras were a pleasant surprise. Waking up to bird-song was so peaceful. If we were needing accommodation in/near Cambridge again would most likely go back.

We stayed here for three nights while we were in Cambridge for a family bereavement. After each sad day it was comforting to come home to this warm, welcoming little cottage. Our stay was at the end of winter, but I still enjoyed the garden and I imagine in spring, summer and autumn it would be lovely.
The hosts were warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again if we need accommodation in Cambridge.

Bruce has made this cottage is the perfect stop for seeing the sights in the Waikato. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possible require, wine and chocolates included! We were comfortable, warm and cozy in the beautiful garden surroundings. We will return again for our next Waikato adventure.

The cottage is a peaceful, picturesque spot perfect to rest and recharge. Bruce and Marilyn were welcoming and generous hosts leaving lots of lovely food and great coffee in the cottage.
