The property offers a peaceful and well-equipped stay with lovely views, spacious terraces, a large outdoor pool, and easy access to the town center. Communication with the host/agency is excellent, ensuring a perfect holiday experience.

Lots of room outdoors with 3 terraces and a 5m round plunge pool. We made good use of the pool and BBQ during our stay. Huge outside table which easily moves for sun or shade requirements. House is well equipped with a big fridge freezer, inside dining for up to about 8. Plenty of cutkery and crockery. Could do with extra sun loungers (we were 4 adults and only 3 sunbeds) we had no problems at all during our stay. Recommend a small car, roads all around are tight! Makes for interesting driving experience. Parking mostly ok out on road. Low cost overnight parking nearby if you don't find a spot. Take with you rapid dry sports towels for pool and beach as none supplied at property. All other towels and linen provided. Good contact with Virginia / agency for access. Walk to town in 10 mins at a stroll. Plenty of bars/restaurants and tram to port. Definitely visit the port for the beach. Local walking in the hills from the centre. Would recommend, however, Lots of steps over 3 levels in house so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

This is a great place for family or friends to stay, either as a base to explore the area or just to spend time relaxing in the lovely, quiet environment. House and garden areas are clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you need.
We would like to say many thanks to Virginia for her kind help and making us welcome.

We had a fantastic stay, it is in a lovely location a short walk from the square. The pool was an excellent addition which we used regularly. A lovely family holiday had by all. The communication was excellent.
The stairs were quite steep for younger children but our 3 year old managed with some support. Overall a great stay!

So lovely to arrive and find your villa even nicer than the pics! Tucked away outside the town yet just walking distance to everything you need.
Villa is spacious and offers all you need! It’s a lovely quiet area and has lots of walks near by.
The town is beautiful and a tram ride away is our favourite place, the beautiful Port!
Only one thing I would suggest…. The outside furniture could do with being updated and more loungers. The villa is for 6 however they only offer 2 loungers. When we were there they broke and although response was fab and they were replaced I think more could be offered. The small sofa and arm chairs look like they are ready to go too, very old and tired and could break! That said it’s a very small suggestion for a very beautiful villa.
We would definitely return, thank you Virginia, you were always very helpful.

We enjoyed this peaceful location with lovely views. The outside area was untidy due to a recent storm. A couple of items had been left on the clothes line. Clean and well equipped inside. Only one pillow for each person and the spares did not have pillowcases and some were badly stained, bed linen a bit tired. We had an issue with gas supply on last night but a replacement gas bottle was very quickly supplied. Maybe check the second gas bottle is full for future guests. We would also have appreciated some kind of welcome pack. We were a little concerned about the stairs especially if young children were in the party.
Communication with the host was very good and the problem we had was dealt with promptly. This was a traditional property and overall value for money.
Three out of the five of us really enjoyed our stay although a couple of the above issues spoilt it somewhat for the other couple.

We had the most wonderful holiday surrounded by the most beautiful setting of the mountains and a short walk into the historic town of Soller.
The villa was well equipped with a pool with a view and plenty of space to accommodate our young family.
There were a few issues with the fuse box and the power in the house but a quick call to the hosts sorted the problem (even though it was midnight) Also parking outside the property was tricky and the streets are extremely narrow. In hindsight, we didn’t need to hire a car!
All in all a fantastic property to spend our family holiday!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

We have holidayed in Soller many times with Vrbo and this was by far the best property so far!
The house is very spacious internally, with good sized rooms and well equipped facilities, however, the best part of the property is the outside spaces..
There are three different terraces, all equipped with outdoor furniture (we especially liked the first floor terrace accessed through one of the bedrooms, the view was amazing), as well as a built in seating area opposite the impressive outside covered kitchen, complete with built in barbecue! The planted areas are well cared for and it is very clean.
All this is complemented by a large outdoor plunge pool, which was great.
The location is off the beaten track (approx. 10 min walk to the main square and although the walk back from the square is uphill, it's not too bad), very quiet, apart from the cockerel who lived next door and in a semi rural location on the outskirts of town.
As said previously, this is a great villa, which is equally suited to a couple (as we were) or a larger family group.
My only slight criticism is the lack of any kind of welcome pack. We arrived early evening and it would have been nice to have some essential items, such as bottled water, milk, bread etc. in the fridge waiting. It wasn't too much of a problem and there is a shop that is relatively close, however, it would have been good to have a cuppa when we arrived!
We would definitely book again and will recommend it to our friends.

The property typically Spanish style with good outdoor area situated in the heart of the town giving easy access to all amenities and walking routes in the valley. Virginia our contact manager was excellent, very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Everything was clean, communication with the agency/Virginia was brilliant and easy. The house has got everything, with a gorgeous view, easy access to the centre and public transport. 5/5. Perfect stay.

This is a very spacious villa inside and out. Enjoyed the pool and its convenient location to the town and supermarket. Views of the Tramuntana range are wonderful. This is a very quiet location. The property manager Virginia was most helpful at any time. I'd recommend using the local bus service to visit the surrounding villages, Palma and the beach. The quality of the food served in the restaurants in Soller town is mixed, I'd recommend reading some reviews before trying to book a table. Which was very difficult when the fiesta is on in August. After a long day out we preferred to stay in and cook. Just a small criticism, the bed linen in the guest bedrooms needs to be replaced and the addition of hand soap, washing up liquid. kitchen towel etc would have been a nice bonus. Plus our kids missed watching some TV. TV only plays DVD's. Apart from that I'd say this villa in good value for money.

Lovely house
A lovely home a short-ish walk from the centre of Soller. Pleasant to spend time in as your holiday on it's own without any need to seek out trips to the beach and so on.
The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by our 10 and 7 year old. It was a perfect size for them as non- swimmers. They were confident in the size (compared to hotel/public pools) and learned how to swim there. Playing around in the pool will surely be one of the memories taken from the holiday.
Little to criticise about the house. The outdoor lights never worked and that was a pain. Made walking down the steps at night a bit hazardous.
The house overall is excellent and we'd strongly recommend.

Can Raía is an outstanding villa for a 2 week stay in Sóller. We would happily have stayed far longer if it had been possible. The house is well positioned with views all round of the stunning mountains that surround Sóller and it is within easy walking distance of the town centre. It is well proportioned for a comfortable stay by six adults and would accommodate more at a push. It is extremely well equipped with everything you could reasonably need, including the all important china tea pot. The dish washer is very effective, there is loads of storage room in the fridge freezer and there is always plenty of hot water. The plunge pool is an extremely welcome inclusion and the built in barbecue is very efficient and, being under cover, with a large outdoor dining area adjacent, is the ideal place to enjoy some 'home cooking' if you feel like taking a break from all the high quality restaurants available down in the town. One of the outstanding features of Can Raía are the mosquito screens which allow you to have the windows open in the nights without fear of getting bitten to death. That said, if open windows aren't your thing, the air-conditioning units in all bedrooms and main living areas are extremely quite, efficient and effective. This really is a pearl in the selection of holiday accommodation available in this charming town and is one not to be overlooked. Possibly one aspect of this particular stay in Sóller that made our stay at Can Raía so enjoyable was our dealings with the management company who look after the villa. Our representative, Oana Oancea, from the management company, Xisca Coll, was very helpful and extremely responsive throughout our dealings with her leading up to arriving at Can Raía, that had been going on for over a year because of delays caused due to the Covid Pandemic. When we eventually met her, Oana was an absolute joy. She helped re-direct the taxi driver who had gotten lost in the narrow streets of Sóller and then gave us a very detailed brief of all aspects of the villa and loads of useful information about the town and port. She proved invaluable when there was another problem with the return transfers, spending time on her day off ensuring that all went smoothly. We cannot praise her helpfulness enough. She was an outstanding ambassador for her management company. Finally, Can Raía was a complete success and we would not hesitate to stay there again. It is simply outstanding and shouldn't be overlooked.

Efterårsferie i Soller

Lovely property in Soller
This is a lovely property - plenty of space for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Only a 10 min walk from the centre of Soller and its lovely square in a very quiet part of town. The area is stunning, we didn't really see much of the island outside of the Tramuntana range, we didn't need to! The only thing I would flag up is the roads are really narrow in the town, especially around the house. Get the smallest rental car you can! Also, don't follow satnav to get out of the town - get your bearings and always head for the square. We followed the satnav out once and it took us down such narrow roads the car got scratched. Didn't do that again - we always headed for the centre on out way out after that and it didn't happen again. All in all, a lovely holiday house, thank you.

Great location in town Soller
Nice versatile property with an easy walk to central Soller -
very quiet and well cared for - however driving into the property and parking is very challenging due to the extremely narrow roads...

Skøn villa med dejligt udeområde, flot beliggenhed. Dog udfordret af de meget smalle veje omkring boligen.

Good property with a couple of minor niggles
I booked this property for an early season week away from the cold, wet weather in Scotland and although February/March may be considered as very early season, we were lucky with the weather. Average daytime temperature was 18 deg C.
Booking was done through Oana at XC Properties and was a pleasant, trouble free experience with good communication throughout all stages of the booking.
Can Raia is a comfortable, spacious property on a number of levels. Our party of six, all in their 60's and 70's found the house to be fine. The only adverse comments being the awkward step into the two topmost bedrooms and the tendency for the electricity to trip when using the heating in the evening (presumably because of the load on the supply) My guess is that the step wouldn't present problems to younger, more agile individuals and that the electrical problem wouldn't be encountered during warmer weather when the heating isn't required.
Whilst there is a television in the lower sitting room, this seems to only be operational for playing DVD's. Those wishing to watch some TV might be disappointed by this but it didn't bother our party. Wi-fi internet access performed perfectly.
The morning highlight at Can Raia was collecting the sweet, juicy oranges from the tree adjacent to the pool and making the best orange juice I've ever tasted. Superb!

A wonderful week.
We had a wonderful time here. First time in Soller, and we were very impressed by the town itself - fabulous narrow alleyways, impressive central square where you can sit and while away the afternoon, busy weekly market, very friendly people and a great atmosphere. The house is lovely - just a few minutes from the centre, but very peaceful and with the most fabulous views of the mountains, over the orange and lemon trees. It was immaculate, well equipped and very comfortable. Port Soller is a short drive or tram ride away - the tram ride is full of charm, so worth doing. Overall, we had a great time, and would strongly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

Wow! What a gem!
Just a short New Year's Eve break but will definitely be returning to see the region in the summer. The house is so well equipped with everything you would need and the location is perfect, set in orange & lemon groves with wonderful mountain views from every window. The weather was glorious with sunshine every day and the busting market town is just a very short walk from the property. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful comfortable house
We had a wonderful fortnight in this gorgeous house. It is much more spacious that it looks in the photographs and the view of the mountains from the pool is beautiful. It's an easy walk to the centre of town and there is a small supermarket just around the corner. Oana and her team were really responsive and helpful. Soller is a beautiful town and it's perfect for a family holiday.

So beautiful and so relaxing.
This was our first time in the lovely town of Soller and it was fantastic. We visited Can Raia for two weeks from early July and immediately fell in love with the property. If you want a relaxing place to chill and recoup, this is the place for you. Lots of space, clean, modern and immaculately presented inside and out. We spent as much time in our beautiful surroundings as away at the beach in Port Soller or in the mountains - why run away when we could swim, eat and talk in such fantastic surroundings. The house was really comfortable and spacious inside and out. Two living rooms, three large bedrooms, and a number of private outdoor sitting and chilling areas meant that all five of us were able to get time-out for ourselves. Soller itself is wonderful! The restaurants are brilliant and the square a hive of activity with kids playing whilst their parents (and grandparents in our case) sampled the local cuisine. My daughter was in her element. The town square was only a short walk from the house which was insane since the house was surrounded by 'quietness' as well as beautiful views of the mountains. Please, please take a look into the sky at night from the house - wow those stars! We can't recommend Can Raia more highly and we'll be back to recharge our batteries as soon as we can - that is, when the 'rat race' allows us.

An oasis of calm in a beautiful setting
We visited Can Raia for two weeks from mid June to early July. Coming from California, we loved the clean modern decor inside a traditional old stone farmhouse. Despite temperatures in the low 30s, the house was cool and comfortable and felt very spacious with two living rooms and three large bedrooms, one with its own sitting room adjoining. There are many lovely outdoor sitting areas including a roof terrace to enjoy sundowners, sunsets and stargazing at night (the planet Mars was spectacular!). The pool was wonderful after days spent hiking in the surrounding area, or driving the gorgeous Formentor Peninsula. We were extremely impressed with the town of Soller, the restaurants in the square, the weekend market and the shops selling gourmet olive oils and regional delicacies. We also thought the Port of Soller, which is easily reached by tram, was wonderful for swimming, for exquisite seafood and spectacular views out over the Mediterranean from a short hike up to a convent. We couldn't recommend the place more highly and we plan to return next year.

A little bit of heaven...
In meeting the needs of 3 generations this house did not disappoint! The valley, Soller, and Ca'n Raia all surpassed expectations. We were even visited by a couple of geckos, and our children given homegrown strawberries by the lovely neighbours.
The house is well laid out, was spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Having two main reception rooms and two bathrooms made for a stress free time (particularly as our young children were up much earlier than their grandparents, we could keep them occupied in the tv room and breakfast in the spacious courtyard/garden).
Wifi, and the Bluetooth speaker, meant we were able to plan the next day's events whilst sipping a g&t and listening to our own music with the bbq sizzling and the sun setting on those spectacular mountains. (I have to say we balked at our own bedroom on our return home -' where was the space? Where was that view?')
In addition, there is a small park just a few minutes walk towards town, which is a good distraction for small children, and the small supermarket is just a bit further on. The square is a hive of hustle and bustle, and people watching, and the Saturday market is well worth making the effort to get to (particularly the honey stall with the beehive on it).
I would definitely return to Soller and Ca'n Raia.

Perfect retreat for cyclists
The property is a beautiful house nestled beneath the mountains with great views. The house is spacious and comfortable and decorated with taste. The kitchen in particular was fantastically equipped and we could prepare all kinds of treats to reward us after a 4 hour cycle.
The outside space provided an excellent area to eat and relax. There are different levels and each one is fully furnished to ensure you can dine in style or simply pass the time with a glass of the local wine.
Another high point was the orange tree beside the pool where you could harvest your breakfast oranges. Exotic and healthy at the same time
Soller is a great location for all sorts of activities. Cycling is very popular here, but the rides are limited to climbs and descents. Great for training, not for a gentle pedal! The pain of the hours spent ascending various peaks is rewarded by an evening relaxing back in the beautiful garden.

Orange trees and mountain views
We had a wonderful break in this beautiful house, set in peaceful outskirts of Soller but a short stroll from the central square. We made the most of the Spring sunshine and gorgeous orange blossom scent with breakfast outside on one of the patios and juice from the oranges we'd picked. The house has plenty of space for a family with a teenager - he picked the bedroom with the private living room and loved being able to go into town independently. The locals are very friendly and there's lots to do around Soller - we hired bikes, went hiking, visited the port on the cute tram, went to a Cuban music concert and recovered from our exertions in the numerous cafes and bars. Palma is within easy reach too. Planning the return trip already!

A lovely house in an ideal location
This was our first time in Soller and we will definitely be back. The house is in a perfect location - just 10 minutes walk from the town square but so lovely and quiet; it was like being in the countryside but in the town at the same time. The fact that there are shops just minutes way meant that we could easily get food without going all the way into the centre of the town. The house was perfect with everything we needed to cook inside or outside as well as relax. We didn't realise that there was also a TV and DVD until we arrived so this was a bonus as we have two small children. We loved it and will be back.
