Rabbits, of course! So~ cute!
The variety of foods served (menu) and the dining room setting.
The view from our room was exceptional - actually, it was better than a picture.
We should have stayed longer - our regret.
*Our low teenager disliked Onsen and preferred a room-shower.

Everything was perfect starting from the boat to the hotel. The rabbit all over the place made it magical! Highly suggested to anyone looking for relaxing time and new experiences.
Nothing.
4.3
Beautiful room, great view, warm onsen, great food, nice staff. Wish we could have stayed more than one night.
Showers in onsen are push button instead of a lever so shut off after a short time and have to keep pushing.
4.3
Kind staff, we communicated easily with Google Translate and English/Japanese. They were happy to assist with our questions. The communal bathhouse was a relaxing experience.
This is the only hotel/inhabited building on the island so you spend your time in here once it gets dark. The hotel would benefit from having a small convenience store within, otherwise you can only eat during dinner and breakfast in which the options are 99% Japanese (up to preference). There is a café type of corner in which you can sadly only pay cash.

ㄧ泊二食這個價格很划算,飯店門口就有很多兔子🐰,和式房18點會幫忙鋪床很貼心。
電視頻道比較少一點

Its the only hotel on Rabbit Island and rabbits are all around - Fabulous place to stay for the rabbits. The buffet dinner and breakfast are very good. There is also a bus from the ferry to the hotel, otherwise, its a 10mins walk.
The hotel is a onsen hotel (which we didnt know) and the bath area is in the onsen area at level 2. But our room comes with our own toilet and sink.

Everything was amazing. The location, the food, the rabbits, everything.
The only thing that bothered me as a foreigner was the complete lack of a private shower. All the washing facilities are the two bathhouses. If you're not comfortable with public nudity, this could be an issue for you.
4.3

Traditional and right at the heart of the island. Nice hiking trails and awesome view of beautiful Japanese Islands
Too traditional for some tastes. Traditional wash rooms

The hotel is in a beautiful location. When we arrived the sun was just getting close to setting, and it was so beautiful. We arrived at the hotel and checked in with no problems. The staff person was very friendly and tried to speak in
English, as well as provide written information in English, since my daughter speaks Japanese, it was not needed too much. Later that night he did a great presentation on Umihotarus (Sea fireflies). Since I did not speak Japanese, I received a paper that explained the presentation in English. The speaker was animated and people seemed to really enjoy his style. So, even though I did not speak the language, the presentation and illustrations were easy to follow along with and very informative. The staff also nicely held our luggage for us after checkout so we could spend the rest of the day on the island. The buffet had a wide variety of options to chose from and was laid out very nicely.
I am sorry to say that the hotel is in disrepair and was extremely dirty and worn. We had selected the Japanese style room, with the futon's on the Tatami mats. The walls, closet doors, and windows were very dirty (filthy) and in disrepair. The entry way and other part of the room had significant stains and/ worn carpet. Some of the bedding was not clean at all, had stains and hair on them, which appeared as though they were not washed at all. Although, the sheets that went over the futons seemed to be clean; I did find that my pillowcase had what appeared to be small drops of blood on it. The plugs were pushed into the wall sockets, and although they worked they did not seem safe. It felt like this hotel had not been updated since the 70's and the common areas and our room were very dirty and worn.

Bunnies ! So cute and friendly.
Very very friendly and cordial staff at front desk and dining room
Excellent variety and tasty foods offered on the buffet for breakfast and lunch.
Excellent value
Property needed refreshing. Seemed neglected.
Too bad the tennis courts are not used anymore
I asked, and was told that they are part of the National Park, not the hotel….so the hotel cannot upkeep them.
The swimming pool looked unused and neglected.
4.3
Dinner and breakfast are very rich, even the pickiest eaters will find something to eat here. A lot of food and a lot of delicious things.
The hotel itself is very old, you can see it by the elevator and by the visibility of the corridors. The rooms themselves look better and the onsen also looks better.
4.3
Perfect hotel to relax and the food is amazing
The food, the beach view and the futons they lay out when youre ready to sleep.
The room we stayed in has the perfect view of the garden where the rabbits would sleep at night and the amazing view of the beach. It was perfect 😭🙌

EVERYTHING!
This is the best place in the world!!!!
I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! BEST EVER!!!!
nothing!
4.3
+ Large room
+ Public baths / onsen
+ Comprehensive breakfast and dinner buffets
+ Of course, the bunnies. Walk outside and they are everywhere, and you can watch them from the window as well.
- Hotel feels very dated and in need of a refresh. Hallways smelled stale, walls and ceilings were water damaged in places. For the price, I would expect it to be better-kept.
- Old-fashioned keys and thin doors did not feel the most secure.
4.3
Food was awesome but mostly the bunnies were great. Great view from hotel. Sunset spectacular. All of the travelers were nice. Super gift shop, a lot of room to lounge, onsen. Regardless of what I didn't like, This s a wonderful island, and would be a nice surprise birthday gift for kids, or any other bunny lovers.
Seems that hotel needs an upgrade. There was a small bay full of trash from high tide or a storm. Not regarding hotel, but one bunny really needed veterinarian care. Architecture of the old chemical warfare factories were reminiscent of Soviet Union style. Luckily the bunnies have taken over which makes everything delightful!

A nice thing is the Onsen in the hotel and that the rooms are in Japanese style with futons and tatami. The location is really convenient to get around the island and back to the mainland.
The building from the outside and inside is a little bit older and some things could be renovated to be more modern and nicer. Also, while the buffet for dinner and breakfast has a wide variety of food, some of the food could be better quality.
4.3
The ryokan-style rooms and onsen were clean, pleasant, and relaxing. The buffet was the best part, and ended up being one of the best meals we had in Japan.
The hotel is a little older, but still in very good shape.
4.3
I loved it because I could see both the sea and the bunnies at once! Buffet was good too. And the onsen bath was very comfortable and the staff very friendly.
Check out (10am) is a little early, but okay.
4.3
IT well exceeded my expectations and there were bunnies EVERYWHERE!
4.3
Absolutely great place to stay! Nice to watch rabbits from your hotel room (ryokan) window and easy to go around the island for a scenic walk.
The building itself start to be a bit oldish and some renovation would be needed. Onsen could be more comortable. But those are not the reasons to visit this beautifull rabbit island ;)
4.3
The experience of being able to stay at a hotel on the island was amazing!! We chose the option that meals were included and it was exceptionally tasty!
The public bath is a wonderful feature, but it could probably use a bit of an update. The tatami rooms were very comfortable and there is AC!
4.3
love the vibe of the hotel and the island, the staff was excellent.
no bathroom in the room, need to go to down floor to have shower, not convenience.
4.3
The rate we booked included breakfast and dinner buffet. The foods are really great! My family loved it. There is a lot of choices for vegan pips.
4.3
The staff were so friendly. The food buffet was amazing. Spotlessly clean. Facilities were first class. Bike hire was available for a small fee. A traditional Japanese room. With paper walls.
The hotel was good but not worth £180 a night.
4.3
Since it is the only lodging on the island, I would rate the location as excellent. The buffet dinner was much cheaper than I thought it would be.
This has nothing to do with the hotel, but we were disappointed that there weren't as many rabbits we had seen in the videos.

rabbits and envionments

Staff: Professional and very helpful. We are very picky travelers, but they could professionally respond to all our requests and satisfy all our needs.
Transportation: They provide extra ferries from/to Tadanoumi port in addition to the regular ferry, and shuttle bus to/from the port, very convenient.
Meals: delicious, amazing quality and huge variety. It exceeded our expectations. They also had allergens lists near each dish, which is very thoughtful to the people with food restrictions.
Rooms: Spacious and clean. Some parts need renovation, but considering the age of the hotel, we expected that.
Facilities: you can rent a bicycle and a variety of things for outdoor activities. There is a pool and facilities at the beach that are open during the summer. It was closed when we visited, but we definitely will be back.
You can enjoy cafe till 8 p.m. and souvenir shop till 9 p.m.
Location: It's the only hotel on the rabbit island, you can enjoy the island without tourists and feed the rabbits during the evening and early morning and see sunrise/sunset.
Since many rooms do not have shower rooms or baths, shy people that have body defects cannot go to the public bath. It would be nice to offer a private bath (貸切風呂) for extra fee.
They had an evening event showing how sea fireflies glow in the cup of water.
Even though we were told they will be returned back to the sea, I had mixed and disturbing feelings for using live creatures like this for educational/ entertaining purposes.
4.3
Buffet was good. Island was great to visit. Even though I was a foreigner I stayed in a Japanese style room. Lots of people complain that japanese futons are too firm but I found the one here to be comfortable for a back sleeper. Probably would not be as comfortable for a side sleeper. Staff was very accommodating and kind. Stains on the carpet in the hallways but the room was clean. Each floor has a shared microwave. I enjoyed my stay.
I wish there was a cheaper option on the island. The room would be nicer with a floor lamp in two corners rather than a harsh light overhead.
4.3
Location is unique and this is the only hotel available on the island.
Free shuttle from pier to hotel.
Children loved the place
Bunny food to be purchased before going to the island (ferry ticket shop).
Having a bathroom in the room will make the hotel more attractive for more than one night stay
It was not a surprise as clearly indicated on booking.com (toilet and sink available in the room).
