An easy living, spacious interior accommodates open plan dining with a fully equipped kitchen and lounge opening onto the veranda. Be mesmerized with awesome views of merging boats and the South Pacific Ocean wrapping around sandy bays and coves. Surf unfolding on the shores of the township below, with a backdrop of majestic mountain ranges beyond. Absolutely beautiful.
“G and T’s Kick Back Bach”, is located on a gorgeous spacious property where the unique sight and sounds of native birds can be experienced.
A residential parking area big enough to accommodate your vehicle, boat or if you wish a caravan.
Kickbackbach is Ideal for 1- 2 couples / small family or holidaying companions up to 5 persons.

Special conditions:
High season- $200 per night
Shoulder Season -$ 130 per night
Low season -$ 100 per night.

Scallop Festival will be at high season rates- $200 p/n
Base tariff per night includes up to 2 persons. Additional persons @ $15.p/n

I loved waking in the morning to the glorious view of the bay and the beach. We are pleased we chose this location,it is up high and not directly on the beach but close enough if you wish to swim. We travelled in winter and the house was surprisingly warm. Very little need for the two heaters.

Had a lovely time. The accommodation was perfect. Everything and more to keep us entertained and active. Played Scrabble which was a nice find. Would stay again.

This place meet all our needs! It was spotless, the beds comfortable as was the lounge furniture! The view was mesmerising- we spent quite a while enjoying it! And it was so quiet!

An awesome place to stay and suited our needs. Well presented and comfortable beds. Having the laundry was super helpful. The view from the deck is outstanding and an ideal spot to sit, eat and have a quiet drink. Do not want to give to much great feedback as everyone will want to come and stay. We will definately like to come back.

We had a fantastic stay here, we had our two small daschunds who also loved their holiday. House was clean and tidy, kitchen had plenty of supplies. Was nice to look out over Whitianga and watch the sunsets at night. Close to everything, shops beaches and activities. We took our own bedding and towels to save time on pack up day. Beds were comfortable and nice to have fans available on hot nights although we just left doors open for the breeze as we were so high up. Highly recommend 👌

Close to the beaches by car & fantastic views.Only negatives, that the bach was in need of major refurb,the shower had no water pressure,not value for money & NO wi-fi. But Whitianga had plenty of restaurants & bars & overall we enjoyed our time here.

Great location looking out over Whitianga. Fully fenced run around area - our dogs loved it! Older style bach in need of a bit of TLC - but had everything you need for a comfortable stay and we really enjoyed our time there.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well located property that has amazing views. An old fashioned kick back Bach that has a feel good vibe. The only negatives was no WiFi and the need to wash linen and towels on check out.

Awesome view, easy booking and check in, cool property with heaps of private space and fruit trees, garage etc. Tidy bach with all you need for the family, definitely an older retro place, but perfectly adequate for a basic comfortable family beach weekend. Thanks!

Cute old kiwi bach with amazing views of the ocean, lovely to sit out on the deck with a cup of coffee. Sliding doors were great for the main bedroom - could get a view from there too! Close proximity to the town and easy walk to beach. A little bit understocked kitchen equipment- we were lucky we had our camping gear. Frustrated we didn’t know we had to wash and dry the bedding linen before we left, if we had known we could have had the option to bring our own, was quite annoying waiting for the washing machine the day of leaving. Otherwise great stay.

Really enjoyed our little family getaway, Bach was well equipped with comfy beds and gorgeous view. Loved the flat fenced off area with main deck views looking out onto the harbour and beyond. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
