Spacious Guest house with everything you could need!!
We LOVED our stay at this property! Kathleen and Joe are a very nice couple and were fun to talk to and were very prompt if we needed anything! We brought our 8m old son with and Kathleen even got a pack and play for us to use while we stayed! It was really nice to have an upstairs and down stairs area so when baby went to bed upstairs we could still play pool and watch movies downstairs without waking him up! The basketball/pickle ball court was also a plus, we could get a little workout in and have fun right outside our place of stay! It was a little chilly when we stayed but they have an excellent A/C and heating unit that kept us very comfortable. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages they had for us when we arrived. Keurig coffee makers, lots of towels, extra linens for the beds, cable tv, extra sleeping areas if needed, there really isn’t anything they don’t have! I decided to make muffins one day and Kathleen even brought me a muffin pan! Seriously the best stay we’ve had and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay! It’s close to the grocery stores, and shopping is only 5-10min away! And it was quick to hop on the interstate to go south to visit our friends too! Just an awesome place and I have nothing bad to say! 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10/10!!!

Very comfortable
Wife, eldest daughter and I visited Phoenix after Christmas because daughter and her family were at in-laws for Christmas. That dictated that we locate a home close to the in-laws and that led us to this very comfortable home. We rented both floors. The beds were wonderful, there was a nice selection of snacks, the tennis net came down easily so that son-in-law and his 4 year old son could shoot baskets, the outside fire pit worked perfectly in some unseasonably (we were told) cool weather. Can't think of anything that needed improving. I worried that the 4 year old would try to use the pool cues on the pool table, but he was delighted to just roll the balls and try to hit grandma's balls away from the pockets. The in-laws occasionally have other visitors looking for housing and we highly recommended this to them. Kathleen made the check-in process a breeze for our late evening arrival. A definite plus!!

Exceptional
Kathleen and Joe are great! Kathleen thought of everything so in case we had forgotten something, all was taken care of. Lights were on for our late arrival. House gorgeous and beds very comfy. Can't wait to come back and reserve house again. You won't go wrong reserving this house! Being close to the 51 and Shea, you can go any direction easily.

Perfect...!
Thank you Kathleen and Joe for having us!
We called it the Barn, endearingly. "Headed to the Barn", "were are going to stop by the Barn", "meetcha at the Barn!" Location was perfect for us tucked in off of Shea. Our kiddos ran free with no concerns as Guesthouse is located in the back of main house; private and secluded but close to everywhere we needed to go.
Kathleen and Joe have the place well stocked. We didn't need a thing! And truly appreciated the bottle water and Keurig coffee makers. Our girls enjoyed the cereal assortment and danishes. Very clean and welcoming, plenty of towels, easy sleeping options and I loved the carpet upstairs (random observation but it was soft and lovely). Upstairs, downstairs provided two living and sleeping areas for our group which was nice for the early risers. We had plenty of room as a group of 7. Kathleen and Joe created a Barn binder with all sorts of good information about the house and the area - appreciated the restaurant tips! And the coded door was super easy, appreciated not having to keep track of house key.
Kathleen was expedient in replies and made herself very available to help with anything we needed.
We'd love to visit PHX again and look forward to our next stay at the Barn!

Outstanding vacation rental
My family stayed here for 5 nights and we loved everything about this vacation rental. There isn't a detail missed in the home. It has comfortable beds and bedding, fluffy soft towels, the kitchen is stocked with all the items you could need (pots, pans, spices, plenty of dishes, etc.) , flat screen TVs in each room, phone chargers/plugs built into the night stands, a variety of coffee to choose from, wonderful outdoor grill, top of the line washer & dryer, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper on hand for our stay......and so MUCH more. We've stayed at quite a few vacation rentals in the past few years and this property is by far the best one we've stayed at. Their attention to every detail is spot on! Our kids (ages 9, 11 and 14) loved the basketball court and the pool table and we loved sitting on the patio with the comfortable chairs at the fire pit table at night watching them play basketball. The home is in a great location and close to many restaurants, grocery stores and hwy access yet even being close to those things you still feel like you are in a peaceful retreat with how the rental is situated on the land. Communication prior to arriving and check in was great. We will most definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful house and more
What a wonderful property! Our stay was first rate from beginning to end. The details and amenities provided are well thought out. There is a lot of room to spread out in this house with two floors, a game room, and an outdoor sports court and patio. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals while the pool table, game table and pickleball court gave us fun activities to keep us busy. The house and furnishings feel new with comfortable couches and beds, and fluffy towels. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kathleen and Joe for making us feel welcome. We had a great stay.

Absolutely wonderful.
We stayed here for 3 nights with our son and his wife and grandchildren. Had a great time. Lots of privacy and nearby fun activities for the kids. Everything you could possibly want or need was thought of by the owners. A wonderful patio area for sitting outside in the evening. Can't recommend highly enough!

Amazing gem of a place in AZ!
Absolute pleasure from making the reservation to checking out! Complimentary refreshments (water, Gatorade, even some chocolate milk for the kids), toiletries, and a warm welcome made the stay a delight. They even had spare propane available if the outdoor fire pit or bbq needed it!
We had a last minute request that was very well attended to, and the checkout instructions were very clear and easy. I hope to use this place again and again!

Wonderful vacation spot
My family went out for Spring Training knowing nothing about the area or good places to stay. I would definitely say we hit the jackpot. From the welcome goodies to the comfortable beds and outdoor activities, this place is set for visitors. Joe and Kathleen were excellent hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We can't wait to return.

Great property for a family with teenagers.
Our family of 4 (including two teenagers) had a wonderful time at the house over Thanksgiving. The space was clean, welcoming and had lots of extra amenities to make you feel right at home. It’s located in a great location right by the 51 freeway which makes the rest of Phoenix really easy to access. The hosts were lovely and helpful.
