Michele was awesome to work with. She was super responsive and helpful for the trip we had planned. I would highly recommend anyone to stay.

Great place for a family get together! Owners are communicative. It’s back in the holler surrounded by woods.

We just hung out. Back porch, front porch, fire pit, hot tub. Cooked, barbecued. Enjoyed the tub and shower in main bedroom. Normal vrbo beds, dishes. If you serious cook bring own frying pans lol! Nice and secluded on 1 acre. TVs and internet thumbs up. Other reviews spot on, example: outside furniture older/worn but very adequate and functional. There is a rubber band holding a cupboard shut but who cares! Plenty of dishes, we did laundry, folks have left things so there are coffee filters, sugar, coffee and some spices. I left some charcoal and firewood! Very relaxing.

Location of the house is great. In a neighborhood but with privacy. No one had trouble locating it. Loved the front porch. House was very nice and spacious. There were 15 in attendance for the surprise party. Out of those, 6 adults and 4 children stayed the night. size of the house was more than accommodating for all of us.
Communication with the host was quick and wonderful throughout the whole experience. The hot tub didn't work when we wanted to use it on the first night. After a message to the host, a guy was quickly there to remedy the problem. We did have to wait until the 2nd night to use it because it took so long for it to get hot. The house is clean on appearance but with grandbabies there, we were all in the floor playing and it was very obvious there had been no cleaning under the couches in a LONG time. There were also gatorade looking lids behind the bedside tables in one of the bedrooms. The carpet is stained and appears pretty dirty. Could definitely use a deep cleaning. Regardless of these few things, we enjoyed the house and the memories we made in it. Overrall a great weekend was had by all.

We stayed for our families spring break vacation. A little early in the year to enjoy the lake but the location was perfect. A short drive to town one way and a short drive to some of the most beautiful scenary mother nature has to offer. The house itself was great. Could use a few updates for the competitive price it holds in comparison with other homes. Other than that everything was perfect for us. The Host was wonderful and polite. Very responsive when I had questions. Over all I still give it a 5 out of 5.

It's a nice property for a family visit. Needs a deep clean for dust and on the carpets. The open concept kitchen / dining / family room space is nice. The surface cleaning is good in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. It rained during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy the view from the porches.

House spacious and kitchen well-stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes as advertised. Beds were comfortable. Laminate floors appeared to be clean. Wall-to-wall carpet disgustingly stained and looked dirty. Toilets and sinks seemed clean. Visible dust on ceiling fan blades & wall decor. We were to enter using lockbox on back door; it was on front door and code number given did not work. Number worked on keypad on back door, which you could unlock but not lock. Cleaning team showed us hidden key we could use to come & go. Interior in need of paint and good cleaning of baseboards & trim. Exterior motion lights & back porch light non-working. Owner told us about string of party lights which we connected, and this helped with darkness. Otherwise, parking area and walkway dangerously dark. Security camera non-working. Several interior light bulbs out or not installed. Oven had large pool of grease in bottom, covered by alum foil. Felt this was a fire hazard and had to be cleaned before we could roast our Thanksgiving turkey. Oven was disgustingly dirty. One set of kitchen cabinets held closed by a rubber band; this was noted in a previous review & owned stated to me she had repaired it. LR coat closed piled up with blankets. Window blind blades broken or missing. Bath towels plentiful but old and thin. Outdoor furniture old. Did not feel house was as represented.

My husband and I went here to visit Somerset /Lake Cumberland and this property was perfect retreat but close to everything. Michele was very responsive and assisted with any questions immediately. The house is very open and so comfortable- especially the huge couches and bed was too. The backyard was awesome to chill and soak in the nature (neighborhood very peaceful) along with the inviting hot tub that I used daily. We had a couple deers visit us too during trip. We got the r&r we were looking for - Definitely hope to visit again next year!

I was very disappointed with this property. The overall size was great but it went down hill from there. The kitchen is very dated and had a rubber band holding a cabinet closed. The grass was not cut, not good if you are bringing animals. The bed situation is severely underestimated (only sleeps 8 max). The hot tub is not for 7, you can fit 4-5 adults comfortably. The cleanliness was lacking, dirty towel in couch, dirt on floors, vents in house caked in dirt/dust. I am very disappointed with renting this property. There were plenty other places I would have rented with a pool if I would have known the bed issues.

Hot tub, jacuzzi, fire pit, luxury accommodations with the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in. Sparking clean and equipped with everything needed. Great owner. Great location. We joked about bringing a chef next time and staying all summer.
Best friend, husband and my pup all celebrated my birthday here and I felt spoiled

Perfect home base for a long weekend in Cumberland. Plenty of room for 2 families; close to the lake and only 5 minutes from burnside Marina. Very clean and Michele was super flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful place to stay. It was quite and secluded but very convenient distance to town. The host was super responsive. Our family had a great stay and we couldn’t ask for more.

It was a great big place to stay with all the amenities! The hot tub, fire pit and seating areas were perfect! Big table in kitchen for everyone to eat!
Make sure your truck has enough horse power to pull your boat up the driveway! It's steep!!!

Very nice place, clean. Comfortable beds, and TV area. Private back yard with deck, grill, fire pit, and hot tub secluded by trees. 10-15 minutes from Burnside Island golf course and state park. Communication with Michele was excellent. We’d definitely stay there again!

We had a great time! This place was beautiful and spacious. It rained and snowed so we weren’t able to use the fire pit but the hot tub was wonderful. We even decided to stay an extra day and the property manager was so nice and allowed us to stay an extra day. I cannot say wnough good things about this property.

Nice house to stay, A/C works well. The front porch is nice for morning coffee, Nice out door hot tub.
The concrete driveway from the road is steep, it dose have a large flat concrete pad up next to the house for level parking and walking.
However, It is a bit tight for turning around a boat. I have a long frame truck and 22’ boat. It was a difficult turn around, I am very good at maneuvering a trailer and still had problems. my truck and trailer was almost to long. If your truck is a regular frame and 22’ boat maybe you will be ok. Backing down the driveway and tuning around on the road is not possible because of the angle of the driveway to the road is to sharp. No other problems with our stay.

Nice place for a family vacation in Southern Kentucky. We went to Dog Slaughter Falls, Van Hook Falls and Crystal Onyx Cave during our stay. All highly recommended. The master bedroom bathroom is a bit of a weird layout, but not much to complain about with this stay.
