Stunning accommodation, fantastic location

Beautiful traditionally style accommodation in the heart of magome. Very clean and modern within keeping of the traditional guesthouse style. Very helpful in arranging dinner as most of the restaurants are closed after 5pm. Very comfy futons :)

Amazing and very helpful owner

Amazing and very clean place in a really beautiful area. The owner fantastic and very helpful. She pick me up from a bus stop, reserve ticket for me and even drive me to my bus stop to Nagoya! If you want a calm and cozy stay you should book this one.

Our stay was excellent! They were so helpful with arranging dinner and luggage transport

We stayed in a bunk bed room but it was spacious and comfortable with seats on the floor and a small table. The beds were really comfortable and the facilities of the guesthouse were great.

It would have been nice to have more food provisions available to guests for breakfast but what was offered wasn't bad.

Wonderful Stay!

This guesthouse boasts a fantastic location, making it the perfect place to stay for anyone tackling the Nakasendo Trail between Magome-juku and Tsumago-juku. The host, Mika, was incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond by recommending restaurants and explaining the Nakasendo Trail route in detail. Mika even offered to pick up our luggage from the bus stop, saving us the effort of carrying it uphill. The guesthouse features comfortable bedding and offers gorgeous mountain views. The kitchen is well-equipped and provides drinks and snacks for purchase at reasonable prices. Overall, the guesthouse was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.

Well designed inn on the Nakesendo Trail!

Very clean, well designed and thought out. The rooms were large with a big window looking out at the mountains. The bathroom was cleaned and well maintained. The location can not be beat if you are doing parts of the Nakesendo Trail. The kitchen also has beers, sake, wine and snacks to purchase!

Excellent accommodation

Fantastic accommodation in central Magome, everything is at the doorstep. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and had all the amenities you could think of or possibly need. Very nice host who was knowledgeable and super helpful. Highly recommend.

Magome lugar encantado

Pousada super charmosa, confortável, bem localizada, vista linda da montanha dos quartos 1,2 e 3. Tudo compacto mas muito bem decorado, área comum para preparo das refeições bem equipada. A proprietária é muito gentil e prestativa. Recomendo muito para quem quiser fazer a trilha entre Magome e Tsumago ou apenas conhecer essa vila.

Blinds are terrible at keeping light out in the morning, and the room had blinds. So that was the only thing I disliked.

Pretty place on the historic Magome-Tsumago route

The setting was very memorable. The guesthouse is right on the historic walking route that goes through Magome. We came to walk from Magome to Tsumago and this setting served us well. We had a room for us and a room for a couple we traveled with. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped, with a panoramic view. The owner recommended a restaurant called Haginoua that provided one of our best meals in Japan

Only difficult factor is that the walk from the Magome bus stop to the guesthouse is up a very steep hill. Maybe a 10 minute walk that was not easy with luggage. But that is the route of the historic walk so it is unavoidable

Tranquil stay at one of the postal towns on the Nakasendo path

Simple but well-designed guesthouse, with helpful host. Magome is very quiet at night and she made sure that guests knew which restaurants would be open.

Great stay, just don’t bring your kids :(

Great location, beautifully designed an decorated. One of the best places to stay on the Nakasendo Trail.

The caretaker was very unpleasant to us. We didn’t realize that children weren’t allowed to stay at the guesthouse. While she still allowed us to stay, she treated us like we were unwelcome the whole time.

Cannot recommend guesthouse Nedoko enough!

Our stay at guesthouse Nedoko was amazing. The guesthouse is great and designed very well, and the location is excellent. The best thing about the guesthouse was the host Mika who was incredibly hospitable and helpful. We are very grateful for her support. She picked us up from Magome bus stop, and offered to make a dinner reservation for us and book a taxi for our next destination.

The one thing that could have been better is to have curtains in the bedroom. It can be very difficult to get a good night sleep for someone who is a light sleeper.

Ideal location : right in the main street of magome. The room is super confortable. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Very clean, and well equipped. Cereal breakfast is appreciated 👍! Extremely clean; lovingly decorated; free breakfast cereals; comfortable bed; host made a reservation for us for dinner.

No toilet in our room but that being said as there are only a few guest rooms we never had to wait for the toilet or shower.

Fantastic Guesthouse with a very friendly and helpful owner. She even drove me and picked me up from a Spa in the neighboring town. Location was perfect for the trek we did. Very cute town with lots of little shops. I recommend this place 100%

Wonderful Guest House in Perfect Location

We loved everything. Perfect location. Light and bright. Great facilities. Friendly communal setting but you are still afforded privacy. Very comfortable beds. Lovely views. Could not fault the place at all!
